Have you lost some weight? Have fantastic things resulted from your weight loss? Well don't wait another minute... post your fantastic list here! Take time to appreciate that weight you've already taken off and what it's done for you. I've lost over 35 lbs and have a fantastic list of my own...
1. My feet suddenly don't hurt. They used to hurt all the time, but now I can walk for miles and miles without any pain. Fantastic!
2. I can fit old clothes I haven't been able to wear in years. And they seriously look great on me. Brilliant!
3. Is that... could that be... my clavicle bone? I have one of those? Super!
4. My pants are falling off... literally. Need a belt stat! As long as they don't fall off when I'm running across the street one day... its Fabulous!
5. More self confidence totally. How can I not when I'm looking and feeling much better than I have in years. The self discipline it's taken me to get this far has definitely upped my confidence.
i love this topic!! it's always good to give yourself a pat on the back for all of the hard work! it helps me to see what i have accomplished, and that keeps me going to do even more!
1. i am able to fit into my clothes and feel more confident in them.
2. i have had 2 people (and counting! ) ask if i have lost weight!
3. i can run!!!
4. i can physically do things that i have never been able to do before! i was thinner before, but not in this good of shape!
wow all these lists have fantstic things on it. :-) I cannot wait to experience some of the things I've read in your lists. Last night while laying down, I felt a hip bone and got all excited.
OK so I associate with some odd people and I am the type of person that you can say pretty much anything to and I don't get offended.
1. One of the photo retouchers (the same guys who make the models of a certain lingerie catalog look way betterf than they do) asked me if I was wearing a new bra because my "rack" looked really good that day (it actually wasn't a new bra but a new to me - it was an old bra that was stuffed in the back of my lingerie drawer that fit again
2. I'm starting to tolerate shopping these days.
3. A necklace that used to choke me now hangs where it's supposed to.
4. A pair of boots that never quite zipped up completely - now do.. (ok they'r enot quite in style maybe next year

I've lost a total of 54 pounds, and I can't lose much more without over doing it... However, I lost most of my excess weight last year, so I've had plenty of time to enjoy it:
Walking proud - I walk through the streets proud, I think that I smile more.
The feeling of leanness and muscle (as opposed to fat) - without sounding a little too weird, I like the feel of my back, my face, and my thighs. My skin feels so much better.
Breathing. I don't struggle for breath as easy as I use to. I'm an asthmatic, but my weight made things much worse. I can run up stairs, I can work in hot conditions, I sleep better - I don't wake up gasping for air.
Digestion - incredible! Up to one year ago, I was reliant on Gaviscon and Rennie anti-acids - I suffered rotten heartburn - now I never suffer from it.
Running. I couldn't run 200 yards, now I regularly run 4 miles with little rest. My youngest daughter could outrun me - now she can't. Running (or cycling) feels so good.
Clothes - yup, pop into a clothes shop and fit on those small sizes. Snap that belt buckle...
Taking photographs of yourself - looking in a mirror. You find yourself doing these things more.
Going to the doctors ... and bragging how you've turned your life around while they applaud you. Filling in a lifespan predictor, and finding that you really are years younger.
Having others tell you that you've helped to inspire them to change their lifestyles for the better, and hearing the results.
To balance things, here are the not so fantastic things:
Less time to slouch in front of TV slurping beer.
Having to shop more often, and spend a little more on good fresh produce.
Having to buy new clothes.
Not sitting up late eating custard tarts and chocolate digestives.
Having to go to gym surrounded by sweaty young ladies in their tight fitting clothes and tactically mounted mirrors.... corrrr
I lost a total of about 75 lbs in the last 3 years.... about 55 in the last year.
1. I've been weening myself into a whole new wardrobe!
2. I'm in the best shape of my life
3. In the last year I've found myself to become more confident in my appearance...
4. I can do pull ups... not many, but some lol
