Yeah most say Chicago just because its more recognizable than "La Grange" or "Melrose Park" for ex. I just say Chicago suburbs.
I pass through La Grange twice a week; any good restaurants you recommend in the area?
Very True..... If you drive through downtown La Grange, their is a nice restaurant called Palmers, just across from Blueberry Hill.
If your feeling like a bar with some really good food. Their is a bar called Buck's Pitstop in Hodgkins that is like 3 or 4 miles from downtown La Grange near the Hodgkins strip mall, past the quarry cinema. If you do decide to go there, get the ribs, or my personal favorite BBQ pulled pork. Now if your looking for a quick dog, just off South La Grange road and East Plainfield is a place called Little Joes, its right next to Jimmy Johns. I live like 4 blocks from that.
Nice, thanks for the info. That BBQ pork sounds pretty good right about now, hahaha. I've never really eaten any "serious food" at a bar before. I've mostly had cheap bar pizza or wings (I'm not ripping on them, its decent food for what you pay).

Mike,
You would love this place. Awesome ribs, burgers, and pulled pork. Its off of East Avenue by like 2 or 3 blocks. It has all neon blue lighting. The pulled pork is put in a hollowed out piece of Italian bread, as a recommendation get the seasoned fries as your side if you ever go there. Of course i only eat here the once or twice a month that i allow myself.
Anyone get to enjoy the semi-nice (but windy) weather yesterday?
Hi, nice to meet you. FYI.....
I don't think the words "Nice" and "Weather" belong in the same sentence around here :/ I'm actually mashing the keyboard to type this, because I just came home and my hands haven't thawed out yet! UGH...
