If that's all you are truly eating in a day, your
calories are quite low... and low in a some basic essential nutrients - like fiber and protein too
I'd keep track of what you're eating for a week or so in a program like
FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to see where those nutrients stack up...
Then go back to your doctor with your food diary from fitday and maybe talk about changing your medication...
