I'm a twenty-four year old young mother who is trying to lose the extra fat around my waist. I have considered liposuction, but don't want to deal with the post surgery complications. I'm terrified of needles, so mesotherapy is not a option for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions, how I can lose the extra fat around my waist quickly, without the pain, downtime, or excessive exercise?

Well I've been getting a lot of flack for being 'mean' around here lately, so it's really hard for me to not live up to that adjective in response to your post.

But fyi...

This is a community chock full of individuals who realize this is a lifestyle process that's ongoing and requires hard work and dedication. For life. I don't think you're going to find what you're looking for here to be honest.

There are no quick fixes.

My friend went to a place in Chicago. I believe it was called the fat institute or fat melting institute. Anyways, see went to get her abdomen fat removed after trying to get rid of it for several years. See signed up for a package, that I believe consisted between 5 to 7 treatments. After the whole process was finished she lost all the fat she wanted to lose. She still exercises and has a healthy diet to prevent the fat from forming again.

I myself have never had a procedure like that done on myself, nor would I really ever have the courage to do so, but apparently this particular method had no pain or any side effects. I still believe a good exercise and a healthy diet can prevent you to try alternate methods.

my manager goes to this weight loss clinic in berwyn. she lost almost 30 pounds in like 4 months or so. its a progress of injections and pills. diet pills and stuff. she has the largest amount of appetite suppressants. all that jazz. it was doing well with her because she doesnt exercise so she lost a good amount of weight....but..

she is infertile now. i was thinking of doing it and eat right, exercise and lose more but when she told me she cant have kids i was like FUCK THIS. excuse my language but i want children and i know i want to lose weight soooo much but children are my passion.


but shes okay with it cause she doesnt want kids. if thats the case and you know you dont want anymore, be my guest. but not for me man. id rather do it the right way.

That's pretty crazy that you can't have kids. Definitely not going there. I know I'm young but I want to have more children throughout my life. I love kids!!!

I'll consider looking into something else. There has to be something out there that can help. There is just to much negative feedback about surgery and mesotherapy injections. Just to many side effects out there or what if's.

You're 24 years old and have already contemplated liposuction? I'm 51 and have never once considered liposuction as an option.

These are your options: exercise and diet.

The fact is you cannot spot reduce and there is no magic pill for spot fat reduction. If you aren't willing to put in the time and effort, the harsh reality is you aren't going to see any results.

Is that the company your friend went too??? It it be to much to ask her?

honestly, it will all just came back again afer you do that. you might as well just change habits..thats all i can say.

It could be a nice kick start to a healthier life. Company looks pretty professional and before after pics are convincing. Have you ever considered or tried these type of treatments??

You are so young... My god, you dont know what it is you have... Youth, i bet you have great smooth skin, The pre kid type, Perky in all the right places... Dont alter what you have, work with what you have got..

I know there are people on this site who can offer you free "tried and tested" advice regarding the best exercise and eating regime.. Some times they may not tell us what we want but they tell us what we need...

*My goodness the thought of any weightloss treatment causing infertility is scary.. I have to wonder if this friend is young and wether she has really grasped the reality of the situation...
