Rep Power: 45 | | Sounds like a good food day there Kimmers! You mentioned in my diary that salmon didn't sound like it tastes good on a bagel LOL. Have you not heard of the New York specialty, bagels w/ cream cheese and lox? Well Lox is smoked salmon, thinly sliced and smoked and it is so good on bagels, also good with some capers on top and cucumber. New York diners always serve this. Well take care . |

Cita, I've never heard of that and I lived in NY LOL, I know why to, because at that time, I really wasn't into Salmon, I actually started eating a lot of salmon the past 5 years. LOL I'm sure if I heard salmon when I was in NY I probably thought oooooeeeewwwww gross,LOL LOL
Funny, now I pretty much get it every time I eat out.
I guess I'll have to give it a try as I was always told, don't knock it until you try it, and I agree with that statement, and I'll try anything okay just about anything once! |

Rep Power: 43 | | It's been a HOT, HOT busy week. My son is visiting tonight, and funny I'm doing some of his laundry. LMAO!!! he has his own washer/dryer but thought since he was coming all the way over to hang out he may as well get some laundry done while he is here, and of course I LOVE doing it, since I never get to anymore, funny how that works.
Tomorrow his grandmother is coming in from NY and she will be here several days, I think she plans on staying over at his place most of the time, but I'm still not completely sure how the weekend is going to play out, so it's all up in there at this point. She said she really misses the boys big time, so she had to come out for a visit, AHHHHH she is such an awesome Ex Mother In Law, I love her to pieces! And the best part, she loves my new husband so wow, that makes things so much easier too.
I have some appointments tomorrow then I'm taking the afternoon off. I have to get home and do a little straightening before she gets in town. I'll try and get online on or before Friday evening and post, but I can't make any guarantees at this time.
We still have not heard back from the insurance company on the remainder of our settlement and I was really hoping we would have it wrapped up by Friday, please everyone send some good mojo my way so I can finally get this whole fire behind me once and for all. We can't commit to a closing date until it's done, so we really, really need it completed quickly.
Well, not much else going on today. I had an OKAY food day, but I hope I can really rev up my workouts starting Monday again, I'm going to do my best the weather is supposed to cool down, HALLELUJAH!!
breakfast: coffee
morning snack: Kellogg's Fiber bar- 160 calories
lunch: Subway sandwich/ wheat/turkey/swiss/honey mustard/onions doubled/tomatoes/lettuce
dinner: a few tortilla chips/salsa/ light beer w/lime
Water...
WOW I really need to eat some before bed, I'll go have some watermelon and cantaloupe right now about 1 cup, that should do it.
Everyone have a great evening.
Hugs

Rep Power: 43 | | Hey Amy! yea we spoke to the adjuster Friday he said he asked for maximum benefits to be paid out and we should have it by early next week. THANK GOODNESS! this stress is not doing my body any good.
This week we had unexpected company show up from NY well they gave us just a few days notice, so I had to push other things aside while they are here. I was going to workout this afternoon, but not sure if I'll be able to do that since I have two other appointments today. I'll try maybe I can fit it in this evening, I've never gone to the gym at night.
I'm getting into a challenge with Bell and I'm totally stoked, I need someone to come in and say guess what Kim I've worked out 2 hours today. I need someone to give me that push again, so I'm really stoked about it.
I'm going to purchase another scale today, finally one with some better computer generated numbers. My old scale seemed off, and I wasn't sure if it was actually showing up or low some days, they have so many new ones to choose from now, I just want to get one that will say "hey chubbie" get to the gym, wouldn't that be a great thing to hear just before getting your naked body into the shower in the morning. lOL LOL Would keep you from eating that big breakfast in the morning that's for sure. LOL
Well, I better get busy or I won't be able to get anything done today. And FINALLY nice cool weather today, the 100's have broke and I sat out on my back deck and had coffee this morning I think it was 70 ahhh perfect, now if it will just stick around I'll be in a better mood.
Hugs and love to everyone!

Rep Power: 43 | | I had a great weekend, I had dinner and a movie with my mom on Sunday. I spent Saturday evening with my hubby and played some Putt-Putt it was fun!
My stomach hurts today, I think I ate to many raw veggies, I had a huge salad with fresh sliced mushrooms, red bell pepper, purple onion, tomato, cucumber/spinach/spring blend lettuce.
I steamed some asparagus/fresh cut string beans, mmmmm those were yummy! I usually put ground pepper and sea salt, love em!!
I cut up some more watermelon/cantaloupe and I'll be taking that to work this week. I plan on going total vegan this week, as I need to rev up my metabolism a little and get it moving again.
I'm currently looking for a treadmill and a elliptical to purchase as going to the gym has been a little harder with all that is going on and needing to be home after work to take care of our 2 pooches.
The inspection on the house is set for Wed and so is the bug guy. The appraisal is set for Thursday and I have the claims adjuster coming to look at my car on Wed as I got some hail damage in the last storm.
Lots to do and not so much time, but I'll do my best to work out this week, I need to lose a few pounds to keep up with Bella, plus I want to look good for Christmas this year, it's a little inside thing I have going for myself.
Hope you all have a great week, I'll pop in again soon.
Hugs!

Thought that I would *bump* your diary so that your new ADF pals that post here could find out a little about you.
Obviously lots of your ADF pals were your old chums from here and know you well. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
