Rep Power: 43 | | Thanks Kelly on the percentage advise. I'll give it a try and see if it to will work for me. I finally made it back from the Vet and they told me my puppy has allergies, well that's good to know, now please just give me something for him so he will sleep tonight. I'm so tired and working on pure adrenolin. *sp* I finally got to eat today around 12, I had a can of that healthy choice chicken veggie soup and it hit the spot. I'm trying to drink down my first glass of water, but it's hard when it's cold in here. I will have my apple in about an hour, and hopefully that will hold me off until 3 when I have a small packet of oatmeal. mmmmm, that sounds rather tasty right now. Well, tonight I'm headed to the gym, even though I'm exhausted, I need the work out, I need to run a few miles or something, I missed my Saturday workout and the gym of course was closed Sunday, so I'm really needing to get in there. Well, I better get busy, I have a lot to do before 5. So far it's a good food day!!! |

Rep Power: 43 | | Okay, I did great today, now I'm heading to the gym for a nice cleansing workout!!! I hope I don't screw up when I get home. I tried to eat a very small bowl of oatmeal before I left work, I bring in those little packets and dump one into a bowl and eat it straight that way, no milk or sugar added. It seems to keep me full longer than any other snack these days. Well, I can't wait to get to Friday, I'm so pump to lose another pound. YEAH!!! Everyone have a great evening!

Rep Power: 12 | | Hey Girlie. Sounds like you are sticking to your workouts. Heres a pat on the back for that: *pat, pat*
There for a while, I was writing down all my calories. I need to do that again...starting today. How many calories are you sticking to? Or do you not write yours down? Have you seen any change sice you started?
I guess you are going to have to come swipe my scale to keep me off the darn thing. lol I got on AGAIN, but this time, it was good news
Hope you have a fantastic day! |

Rep Power: 43 | | | another busy day! Well, I have to start off by saying, I'm so damn proud of myself, I did great yesterday. I ate very well, and balanced AND I worked out great at the gym, even though I was only working on pure adrenolin. I biked 7 miles, then took the group groove class, which I think I must have lost 20 pounds of sweat in. I felt great!! Gave me more of an insentive to not eat bad when I got home, and I didn't below is a list of items I ate yesterday. I will be leaving work early today as I have to meet my son for Senior pictures. I'm so the last minute QUEEN, yep I wear that crown so well. But at least they are getting done and at least we will have them back in a few days. Graduation is next month and I'm just so excited. I'm proud of my kids that's for sure, and I'm tearing up right now thinking about it. I struggled as a single mom raising two boys on almost nothing, I'm just so happy they made it, I was really worried there for awhile, they were very angry years ago at me, for not staying with their dad, it was so hard and so many nights of crying, and now we are so very close again, and they understand why it all happend and they love me more now for it. I'm getting off the path here right?? what's new. Well, I better get going, I have a lot to get done before 3. Have a wonderful day!!

Thanks Lena for your sweet comment, that made me smile.
Tiffany, I eat approx 1500 calories a day give or take a few hundred. I really try to eat items that are full of nutrition, but less calories, I never look at the fat content, I think we all need some fat in our diets. My real concern is just trying to portion control all items that may have a lot of calories in them, like those beans, I love beans, so I try to do black beans or ranch style and only a few Tbsp at a time, they are filling for me. I load up on the veggies, I love tomatoes and lettuce and anything you can throw in a salad, so I try to load whatever I eat up with mainly those items. I go for the smaller tortilla's because I can eat two of them for about the same as One large, and I don't have to go wheat on those. Lunch I try to stick with either smart Ones (weight Watcher meals) or healthy soups, with low calories, I love those!
Water, water, water. And I do allow myself treats every now and then. Like a cookie or piece of brownie, but very very small. I eat a lot of Jello, love that and animal crackers in chocolate flavor, because you feel like your being bad, but only 5 for 50 calories, and that's not bad. I love fruit, so that's my saving grace in the afternoons, when I want something sweet. I eat a lot of Watermelon and cantaloupe in the summers, mmmmm I need to check the calories in a pickle, because I love those, but I forget about them all the time. |

Rep Power: 43 | | I'm very happy I didn't blow last nights dinner, I stuck to my guns and ate very good. Maybe a total of 500 calories for dinner that is. I had a very busy day and didn't have a whole lot of time to really sit down and enjoy my food, like I normally do. But for breakfast I had a small cup of cereal with 1% milk, lunch healthy choice soup, and then my dinner. I probably got in under 1500 calories, not my intention at all. I had senior pictures to take care of for my son and they turned out really nice. I'm so proud of him. Now it's back to the gym tonight for me a 5:30 group groove class and if I'm not to tired by then, I'll ride the bike or do the elliptical for 40-45 minutes, that would normal lead to about 10 miles on the bike or about 4-5 miles on the elliptical, I bust butt on those, hey if I'm going to get my booty to the gym, I'm not wasting any time there, I'm going to get it done!!! The temps here in our state have finally warmed back up and we got a good rain last night, so HOPEFULLY that will be enough to rejuvinate my plant life again, the freeze really took a toll on a lot of my flowers and bushes. Well, I better get going, I have a lot to take care of before 5. Have a great day everyone!!

Rep Power: 26 | | Way to go Kim, you're doing great.
If you're not already, soon you'll be working very hard at eating. Its something we must do everyday. Get the right amount of food in. It takes a lot of focus but I have to say I'm relieved its over at the end of the day and I can concentrate on resting. What I mean is I have become more relaxed and intent on my eating than I was in the beginning. I used to wonder if the food I was eating was making me fat but now I know I need so many calories a day and I have to commit to eating them. I'm rambling but I hope you know what I mean.
Good on ya girl. |

It's so nice to read that the relationship between you and your sons have healed and that you guys are in a better place now - going through that teen time, and raising them on you own just isn't easy!!
I also wanted to mention if your puppy has allergies, you might consider listeing to the podcasts of my vet James Coghlan Podcast.net - The Podcast Directory he believes strongly in a more evolutionary approach to feeding dogs, and one of mine was severly allergic until we changed her diet.
Hope all is going well, your nutrition and exercise routines sound GREAT! |

Good on ya girl. | I know exactly what your talking about. I actually eat pretty good now and after two weeks of changing up my diet, I feel like I don't have to really think about what I eat to much, I just make healthy most the time and I rarely think about sweets anymore. It's a wonderful feeling, FINALLY!!!

Hope all is going well, your nutrition and exercise routines sound GREAT! | M2M, I will check out that website, thanks so much for sharing it with me. I truthfully think he got caught up in some Poison Oak or Ivy, because his skin is red and irritated. And very itchy, it's never been that way before. We live out in the country and he's always out there going through the trees and brush, it drives me nuts!!! But he's a dog and well that's what they do. I just feel so bad for him, because you can tell there are spots he really wants to scratch, but can't reach. We have fed him the same dog food for the past 5 years, he's never had a reaction like this, but I guess you just never know right. Thanks so much for stopping by I appreciate you!!

Rep Power: 43 | | I did so well yesterday on eating and working out!! I'm finally proud of myself for sticking to something and not giving in to other temptations around me. I ate healthy and approx 1500 calories yesterday, then went to the gym and took a group groove class, they changed it up a bit last night, so I got a massive work out in, my shirt was soaked after it was over. Those are the kind of work outs I love!! Takes me back to my old cheerleading/drillteam days, and I won't bring up how far back that was. HAHAHAHAHAH LMAO!!! Oh it's so funny to think back then when I weighed in at a measly 128 lbs I thought I was fat. LOL LOL What the hell was I thinking!! Was I mentally challenged then or what!!! Well, I better get rolling I have a lot to do today. I'm looking forward to my work out tonight, Group Centergy and I will probably do about 4 miles on the elliptical. : -)
