Rep Power: 43 | | Okay I'm going to try and post something fast about my weekend so far, as it seems when I type more than 15 sentences it makes me refresh and says I'm logged out,UGGG!! well yesterday I took one of my friends to the Open House at the Lavender Farm. OH it was a blast. They make everything there with lavender, soaps, creams, candles, and food. YEP FOOD!! it's supposed to be healthy for you. I love Lavender!! I'm a total candle, aromatherapy junkie, love that stuff. I bought a iron candle holder for my sons girlfriend, it actually fits down into a wine bottle and you put candles on it and wella, beautiful. I also bought some lavender plants to put in some potts for my deck, we will see how well I grow those. After that venture we headed back to her place, her hubby is a physician so he's usually tired when he gets off work, but he wasn't last night we stayed outside on their deck until 10:30 having Merlot and peach schnapps. I tried the schnapps, but I stuck with the 2 glasses of Merlot. We saw several deer walk by it was cold but gorgeous! I'm not to thrilled with my food choices, but I know I didn't exceed 1700 calories. I had a small bowl of cereal for breakfast. Then at her house I had a few pieces of 97% fat free jerky, and cheese and apple slices. Then I got home and went to bed. I'm starving right now, I better go eat. But after I read some more diary's, got to keep caught up you know. Well I'll write more later. Have a great rest of the day!! Kim |

Rep Power: 26 | | | Good luck with the lavender. Don't overwater it.
I have never worked with lavender but two people have offered me their lavender crops this summer. One is actually a farm. I want to learn how to do crafts with it. Any ideas? I know lavender wands are nice but I"m not sure how to tie them, fold them over and wind them with twine or ribbon?
What would you do with half a ton of fresh lavender? That's what I'm trying to figure out. |

She also cooks with lots of it, she makes tons of arrangements, wreaths, etc... I know schools and groups do field trips to her farm also. I'll try and find out what I can for you this week. |

Rep Power: 43 | | DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!! I should not have gotten up on that scale this morning. I knew it. I'm starting my big P today, so I knew it was not a great idea, but stupid ass me did it anyways. Oh yeah, only 1/2 a lousy pound. I'm so pissed at myself. I ate great all week, I worked out hard all week, for WHAT????? A damn 1/2 pound. I should have waited until next Monday, I could kick my own butt right now. It's Monday and it sucks!! I got into an arguement late yesterday with one of my 17 yr old twins, and then this morning OH around 3 am I got up to let my puppy out and the other one was still on the phone talking to his girlfriend, I could have yanked that thing out of his hand and smacked him with it. What the hell are they thinking??? needless to say, I'm not speaking to either of them this morning, OH does it make for a great Monday. I finished up my taxes yesterday, another crappy disaster as we have ALWAYS received several thousand back, OH NO, NOT this year, we can no longer claim the boys as credits because they turned 17 in 2006, so we didn't get crap back, 43.00 bucks but sh.......t it cost me more to file the damn thing. Well, I'm angry and upset and I feel like BALLING my eyes out. I need to take some time off work, and get away for awhile. I'm going to look into that today. I'm so busy, now with prom and graduation coming up, I don't have time to breath. CALGON take my ass away!! AND FAST, before I open up a can of whoop ass on someone. Okay, I'm done venting for the day, now I just want the day to end, so I can go to Group Groove tonight and let out the rest of my frustration there. |

Rep Power: 12 | | Man, what a rough morning. I hate to say this, but aren't you the one that told me to STAY AWAY from the scale?? HUGS I hope your day brightens up. And, of course, you know that you are probably just retaining water and when it is all gone you will see an even bigger drop in the scale than you expected. You are doing awesome. Some days are going to suck, as you well know, but then there are the ones that are just so awesome you could dance naked in the streets(or not ) Anyways, I guess what I am trying to say is...it will get better...chin up...be encouraged...and use all that anger and frustration to have a really great work out tonight! I hope tomorrow is a better day! |

I know it will get better, but ugg, It was a bad start. And on the scale thing, what I think I told you was, don't weight yourself everyday and certainly not several times a day. I always weigh in once a week, Every Monday. I'm trying to be positive. I feel a little better right now. I just hope by next Monday I see something worthy of posting on my ticker, that would be a good Monday. Thanks again!!

Rep Power: 104 | | Poor thing I feel you on all that--thanks for venting, you need it and we like to make sure our friends here feel comfortable to vent! Don't worry--your weight is only a reflection of your bloating--the way you've been going at it, you could be down 3 lbs and just up in bloat--which will go away in a week or so. Don't stress! You seem to be doing everything right!
About the kids--can't give any advice! I was a bad teeny bopper myself. My only comment is that they probably will become really sweet and grateful in their early twenties--I hope!
Taxes-sorry bout that
Conclusion: hope your day turns out better! Just keep on eating light and walking, and in a few days after your P you will see the scale DROP! |
