Yeah, you have to have little treat days like that where you are more relaxed on your discupline or you will get too discouraged(at least I am like that). Good job on the walking...drink more water!! As far as a walking buddy, I am in the same shoes. I need a workout buddy just to make it more interesting, but no one wants to work out with me. There are about three of my friends who are trying to loose weight, but they are too embarassed to exercise in front of anyone. EVEN ME! Crazy gals.
I hope you get that job if it is the one you really want. And good luck on catching more of the supply teacher calls.

Still 168 - good thing . Had swiss chalet for dinner last night...oh man I need to stop eating out! lol. The in-laws (or soon to be in-laws) were over so I didn't have much choice, but still. ...
I have a friend coming over for a bike ride tonight, should be fun...
Not finding as much time for the computer lately, lol. The sun is shining
I had two job interviews today, The part time job at the mall (just an ornament store) is mine if I want it, and then I applied at the petstore...it was a group interview (weird) and they played pictionary?? I didn't get it, lol, which probably means I didn't do very well. Debating taking th epart time so I can still supply for May/June and then hold onto the position in the fall when I'm supplying again. Just something to think about
Have to call the lady tomorrow...

Not a bad food day, but not a very home-prepared food day which is what I need to start doing, I eat out WAY too much and it's hitting me hard - physically and bank account wise, lol.
Went for a 20 minute roller blade with the ex-roomie - good times. Hoping to go biking for a bit tomorrow.

Hi Nic! I thought I'd check in and see how you were doing for a change, and add your thread to my subscribed ones so I can check in regularly.
Resisting the urge to dine out is tough. That's one of my big challenges as well. There's so much good food around, and I can't cook anything myself to save my life. My culinary prowess is limited to opening cans and pressing buttons on the microwave.
I've always wanted to learn how to rollerblade. That looks like a lot more fun than walking.

Haha, jeff, I actually hate rollerblading but am trying it out because the hubby enjoys it, I'm very unbalanced.
-->Went for 10 minutes on a bike (just around the neighborhood) and yikes, I need to get into that, I am pooped. I figured biking would be easier than blading.
Well going to go eat some protein ish things...still waiting for the supply list lady to call...lol

hey there chica!!! looks like you are at least getting the exercise in =)
I hate hate hate eating out, but I love love love the food!!! lol... Sometimes it helps (especially with a chain) to plan your meal before you go if you can find their nutritional information online... especially if you are doing it often.
The nutrition and recipe thread usually has some really good, easy, healthy recipes that you don't need to be a brain surgeon to make... so that helps too - whenever I'm busy, I check out something from there =)
take care, and drink more water!!!
oh! I had dinner with the future-in-laws twice this past weekend - ahhhhh too much family and too much information!!!!

Still 168 - but the scale looked like it was tipping a bit towards 167 today, so I'm hoping to push it over with a nice healthy day. It's overcast so that makes for good outdoor time. My parents are coming over to do some gardening - definitely good exercise since we are hauling dirt all over the place.
Hoping to also go on a bike ride/roller blade or something of that nature.
Breakfast:
2 Graham crackers (I need to get over them soon but they are yummy in the AM)
1 bowl of instant oatmeal. Didn't eat breaky until 11ish, so ...I don't know why that's relevent. lol
Lunch:
Tomato Sandwich with Mayo
Probably something else that I don't remember right now...lol
Dinner
Pork chop (small)
boiled potatos
Carrots
Salad (w/ catalina dressing)
Thanks for the pre-planning advice - that's definitely a good idea - scare myself out of eating the crappy foods before I go and plan for something healthier

Not a bad food day, We did the gardens today - a LOT of work...I was just going out for a bike ride but it started raining - went out for about 6 minutes before it got to be too wet - i tried
~nic~
I need to start keeping track of how much water I drink, I'm guessing it's around 6 glasses a day - not quite enough but not bad. I might try that elastic thing where you have 10 and move them aside every time you drink water?

Breakfast:
Instant Oatmeal
2 Graham Crackers *YUM* lol
I've decided to do random situps and push ups throughout the day...just to help build some muscle...
So far
30 push ups (I'm HORRIBLE at them)
40 sit ups (it's been awhile for the abs) lol
Being unemployed certainly brings on the lazyness, despite gardening outside all day yesterday I still feel like I sleep WAY too much (sleeping in till 10).
The part time job lady called me and I start Monday - but it will only end up being like 8 hours a WEEK :S...not much, but something I guess.
Still no calls for supply teaching this week - not cool

Okay, well I won't go into excessive details on my day yesterday but it royally sucked. My parents are still battling - and it's not looking good which of course adds stress to my life :S.
ALSO while I was attempting to make my mothers day gift (Printing photos etc). I DROPPED my laptop and the screen broke which of course sent me into a rage, lol. This is my THIRD laptop in a year (though the other two were damaged NOT by me - more manufacturer defects). I am soooo mad that it's broken, and I called in to see how much a new screen would be and the guy said at LEAST $500 depending on the model, and I do NOT have that kind of money.
Luckily I can plug my moniter in and still use the laptop as a stationary computer, but that's dumb because I didn't buy it for that.
Okay, done ranting
Food: Not good, these last few days have been crappy in the food department and it's showing in the weight department. BLEH! I need to get back on track FAST - My new goal is to use stress as amotivator for exercise NOT an excuse to eat and laze around.
Wish me luck ladies
