Here is to explaining myself;
My name is Jessica.
I live in Ontario, Canada.
I have always been big.
I've tried diets and wonder pills and I have never managed to succeed 2 pounds.
When I say this, you must consider that I cut down big time....and I was exercising every day. Big mistakes. Bad diets.. I'm over them.
I now feel that I am in the perfect frame of mind to lose weight. Tomorrow I will find out if it's 10 or 12 pounds that I've lost over these last two weeks, when I go for my doctors appointment. I'm doing what the doctor says...and seeing that I have a goal, I'm sticking to it. I'm thinking it's twelve
Just finished my Pilates. Going to have some bran cereal (only reason why I eat it is for fiber. Once I'm settled I will be going on the treadmill....so in the end it seems like I'm creating energy. There are specific areas in my work outs where I'm targeting more spots than others. They're bigger. They need more work. Either way I am getting a full body work out. I'm really starting to notice my silhouette. It's nicer then before. My arse isn't as massive lol.
I need a support system and I was told that this is the place to go. I just want to let everyone know that I am great to talk to and I would love to hear others stories and secrets. People who will ask how I'm doing and sincerely mean it. I think they're called friends. Yeah, I need supportive friends.
So this is my official entry.

welcome Jess! yes, measurements are the perfect way to keep track of what is happening when the scales don't seem to budge! Amazingly, I will have lost inches, but my weight will be static.....

Thank you,you guys are all awesome.
And great job somethingnew! How have you been losing?
Thanks I have mainly lost through changing my eating habits. I try to stay between 1200-1800 calories a day (lol I know that is a big gap, but some days I just end up needing more than 1200 calories and I don't let myself feel bad about it). I haven't been very consistent with exercise, but lately I have been walking 3-5 miles whenever I get the chance. I try to eat lots of fruits and veggies and I am a vegetarian so I eat a lot of beans and cottage cheese for my protein/fiber.
I look forward to seeing you around here you will have a great support system on these forums.
