Thanks for the info on the weights and exercises. I will use it as a referance if you do not mind.

Also thanks for hidding the pirates, i would have read it if I did not have to highlight it. That is on my list of things for the weekend. I love that movie, I love that Johnny

Well if I don't get on over the weekend, have a good one and good luck gettin in another session of belly dancing.

Deb

Deb I attached the sheet I use . I hope your weekend goes great and definitely head over to see Pirates! I figured I wouldnt make it too easy to read the spoilers . Didn't want anyone beating me up on the forum .

I didn't bring my daughter, but I might go again this weekend with her and my dad. It was definitely the best movie I've seen this year. And I swoon for Will Turner! I try not to make my hubby jealous with my drooling .

Chimi, my daughter wants the lego's too. She has the Harry Potter legos because she liked them better at first and I'm sort of broke so I wont buy her more (just graduated from college last Friday as a returning adult studen). I hope you have success with the resistance aspect of your workout! What types of resistance exercises are you doing?

...the ranch was with the gold fish crackers.
I have an odd taste for condiments!!

I'm glad you liked the movie, I wasn't all that impressed with the previews but I might take the time to see it anyways.

I bet your daughter is a cutie.

Today's update...

Well, I got on my scale today and I weigh two pounds more. But, that's not terrible since I went to a wedding last night and had a ton of soda's and instead of dinner it was appetizers, salty stuff... So probably combo of salt and soda. I only weight Wed and Sat, so... We'll see on Wed, if I'm balanced out or not . But overall, I'm feeling great. The morning mini workout really helps me to feel more awake and filled with energy all day. Plus with having accomplished something so early in the day, I just feel like I'm doing better and stay more motivated in general.

Food, well, wedding... LOL, so that didn't go so great. I completely passed up the veggies for pretzels, chips, string cheese, and chedar cheese and crackers. And did I mention soda? My morning was much better, cereal and applesauce yesterday, just cereal today. Lunch yesterday must have been macaroni and pineapples again. Today, morning snack of pineapples (see a theme with the pineapples?) and then had a wheat bun with butter around 11. We're about to have a late lunch (because I just got home from work and here I am .

So, the plan was to walk when I got home but it's raining and I'd have to walk alone. Hubby and daughter wont walk in the rain with me. And I want to jump rope, but hitting myself with a wet rope doesn't sound like much fun since it hurts enough when it's dry! I'm not too great at jump rope...

I'll probably end up getting out my belly dancing video for today (cuz that was fun!) and then who knows. Endless possibilities!

Usagi, it sounds scary, the ranch and crackers... I think I'll leave them to you and not give that a try .

No motivation today

Completely and utterly unmotivated. That says it all. So I did my morning 15 (legs/lower half today). And I did yoga and just finished it. It took me two hours just to put the darn tape in the player. No belly dancing today... too much work! But then, I did work 6-2 today. That is tiring in and of itself.

Cerella, I think it's fun to do the belly dance video. BUT I do feel silly and refuse to let ANYONE see me while bouncing around. There is a lot of hopping in the one I have, which is tough for me. But overall, it's fun . And embarassing! All at the same time .
Edited to add, partly no one is allowed to see me because I keep taking off layers. It's a sweaty video!

Food today... very bad. Started good, went to the dogs at supper when I decided four peanut butter cookies was a good dinner choice. Now, I'm beat and about to go to bed or I'd have an apple.
Breakfast-frosted mini wheats
Snack- banana
lunch- 6 inch roasted turkey sandwich with provalone and ranch from subway (not a great choice, but not terrible either, so I dont feel bad about that one).
Dinner-4 peanut butter cookies.

And now... check up on ya'll and then go to bed .

Hi Michelle:

Long time no read....

Dont feel like that, no not really you have the right to feel like that, we all do, but just remember to not feel unmotivated for a long time until it becomes an habit just take it a day at a time. Oh and by the way belly dancing is a tribute to the womans body. so feel proud of it its your body!! and belly dancing its just awesome I love it I did it for over a year, and I used to feel like that the first few times but after the embarrasment part went away I really got to enjoy it and LOVE it it gave me so much confidence, I learned to love and feel proud of my body specially my hips Lol! You should try some group classes, ITS FUN trust me! nothing embarrasing about it au contraire
well I ll stop now
have a great day and give life a great smile!!

Sun, I'm not to sure. It's the premade dough you can buy in the grocery store and we made them. Worst part is I ate them warm... If they had been cold I could have stopped at one!

Heidi, thanks for stopping in .

Usagi, definitely not the best choice I made that day... but then did it again for breakfast the next day... EEK!

Alezita, I love bellydancing, too. The video is great. And I might consider allowing someone to see me if I just didn't sweat so darn much! That is the embarassing part!
And thankfully I felt more motivated yesterday.

I'm soooo excited today though!!! I get to go buy running shoes!!! I wore my sandals yesterday (dont lecture me, I know already ) but my feet dont hurt, my ankles dont hurt, my shins dont hurt... so can sandals really be all that bad? I'm going to try out these running shoes though. My friend says I must wear them. So we'll go today to pick some out. If I hate them, I'm going back to my sandals. The day my legs and ankles hurt so bad after running, I was wearing my cross trainers. Apparently those are not good for running? Crazyness.

For yesterday...
Breakfast (I hate to admit this) Peanut butter cookies, only 2
No snack between breakfast and the family get together.
Lunch/Dinner-(which lasted from 3 until 6:30) Rice, Shredded chicken mixed with cream of chicken soup, pretzels and dip, two chicken pastries, one slice banana bread, one rice crispy treat, and I think that's it.

Activity-
My rep log in the morning
playing in the jump house with the kids
DDR one hour- level 5 songs only yesterday. I just felt so tired!
Walk one mile with my family when we got home (so 17 min mile with my hubby)
2.55 mile walk/run (walk 4 min, run 2 min). About a half hour, so average a 12:32 min mile. Suprisingly, if I just walk, I can do it in less time. Odd. But maybe it's because when I run, I really don't run very fast at all. I'm sure I could walk faster than I run at this point. And it tires me out, so when I'm done running, I walk pretty darn slow for the first minute after or so.

Peanut butter cookies sure did taste good for supper .

I used to run 5 miles three to four times a week from when I was 18 to about 20. In those same sandals...

I haven't ran for (here's my age now...) nearly 7 years. I still have those sandals and had to wear them to try them out since the cross trainers hurt so much afterward. I had to know if it was me, or the shoes. But I didn't do great, the two minutes out of every 6 had me nearly ready to fall on the floor when I opened my door! But my legs feel awesome!
