I don't have a belt. I have... let me go get it... Natural Journeys with Veena and Neena (sisters). It's definitely a tough routine, but it's a cardio routine, not learning a dance routine. Fun though anyway!

Cerella, you're welcome .

Today. Food.
Breakfast- Frosted Mini Wheats
Lunch-Chicken Pastry
Snack-steamed Broccoli
Dinner-Chicken and cheese quesadilla.
Looks like lots of protien today.

Activity.
15 min of squats, lunges, single leg squats, side kicks, front kicks
30 min of jabs, crosses, uppercuts, hooks in varying combinations (and sadly, with no bag since my hubby wont buy me one yet).
10 min dancing with my neice! (she's two'n'a'half)
a short 5-7 min abs video. Very boring since it was mostly laying down activities. I much prefer standing ab stuff.

An extra bonus, Josh filled up the air in my tires on our bikes. Then he went for a ride without me . Only about 10 min for him, but that was probably about all he can do right now. He's got to start somewhere, too. My neice was already here so I couldn't go along. Next time though!

And now, check the rest of the forum then bed. I have to be up at 5 again tomorrow for work. I got called in, wasn't origionally scheduled. Had my whole day planned... But money is good, too .

Have a great day!

Last two days.. a BLUR. My mom and I went out last night. I drove . She was a bit toasted! She had fun though, and that's what counts. We were the only people in the whole bar that were dancing. Slightly embarassing, but oh well.

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 (yes I'm crazy) to go running before I went to work. Today I had off and spent all day with my friend who is soon to be deployed (Tuesday next week). Tommorrow I'm getting up at 4 am (yes, even more crazy) to run again.

Today I did my rep log and am about to do a video... haven't decided which one yet, then have dinner and go to bed.

Food. Even more crazy today.
Breakfast angel food cake with strawberries.
Went out with my friend for lunch at 1:30 and had a pepper chicken salad and chips with salsa.
Supper, haven't even thought about it yet. Should eat, but still full from the salad and chips.

Yesterday- frosted mini wheats, two scrambled eggs, banana, cant remember what I had for lunch, did I eat lunch? I think I did. I must have, but then I took a nap. Supper, hash browns and two cinnimon buns. Suprisingly I didn't gain any weight from that dinner!

Yesterday, ran and did yoga.

Activity-
2.55 miles. With a proper warm up and cool down plus stretching afterward. Up at 4 am to do that! Suprised I survived that early! But I had to be to work by 6. My 2.55 were a walk 4 min, run 2 min intervals.

Food-
Breakfast- I ran out of cereal so had half a serving of cereal and peanut butter toast (how gross! I hate peanut butter).
Snack- banana
second snack- applesauce and buttered toast
third snack-pretzels and dip. Way too many of them, especially the dip.
Dinner-roast chicken sandwich with provalone and lite ranch dressing. Oh, and tons of oregano on that. Yum.

I had three snacks and no lunch, but after work I took a two hour nap, which led to my no lunch.

I am realizing yet again how much I hate laundry. Laundry is evil. It's not the washing and drying, it's the putting it away. If I could hire someone to do just that for me, I'd be in heaven. I'd rather clean my toilet with no gloves, clean the litter box with bare hands and no scooper, wipe shit from the floor with only one paper towel, anything... really anything, other than to have to put my laundry away. I hate laundry. I think I'll just go naked from now on so that I don't have to do anymore laundry. Where is the nearest nudist colony? And do nudist colonies exist because of the mere possibility they hate laundry as much as I do?

I was thinking earlier about the nudist colony. It wont work. I'll smack myself in the face with my boobs when I run. ARG. Guess I'm stuck with laundry.

Activity today
My Rep Log
Video- The Firm Cardio Sculpt. I did not use weights, but did it right after my rep log. Used it more as a cool down/stretch after lifting.
And I'm going dancing with my sister tonight. We like to head out to our local salsa bar. We find someone to dance with us and fling us around for a couple hours, always a great time. I'll be very very sweaty when I come home . And I dont drink, so my only beverage will be tons of bottled water, so I wont be taking in additional calories tonight. AND I'm so glad that my area bars are smoke free. I dont get such terrible headaches the night after. Seriously I felt like I had a hangover so many times and wondered why. Then they went smoke free and no more headaches. So, now I know why . I felt it was soooo unfair that I'd have hangover headaches without ever drinking a drop of alcohol.

Food
Breakfast- Two slices of peanut butter toast (did I mention I hate peanut butter)
Lunch- Easy Mac. My daughter made it for me. I had to pay her a quarter...
Early dinner- Spagetti and garlic bread
Snack-Apple with caramel dip.

My calories according to mypyramid.gov are about 1759 for today. Suprised it's that much since I dont feel like I ate all that much. I'm not hungry, either, but wow! It's my first day of entering calories into a website. I typically estimate fairly well, but think it's the garlic bread that threw me off today. I knew that would be high and was unable to properly estimate those calories. Tons of butter on there. But SOOO yummy! I love bread.

Hi there! I've tried spark people and didn't really like the format. I used the mypyramid from the gov before when it first came out, so maybe it was because I was used to using it that way. I do like the entering activity and food and calculating the energy balance. It seems a bit off, the energy balance, sometimes though. It gives me very high calories burned for some activities that I don't think are very difficult and sometimes very low calories burned for things I'm sweating my bum off for!

Today's food-
After bar snack-angel food and strawberries
Breakfast/lunch- Rockies pizza and breadsticks. One mellow yellow and refil was diet coke.
Supper-peanut butter toast with banana slices
Snack-Apple with caramel dip.
Lite Lemonade a few of those, a diet coke at home, about 5 bottles of water last night.

Calories 1994

Activity
Swimming laps- one hour. And I am SOOO proud of myself! I beat my personal record on the front crawl today (since I started timing anyway). One lap in 48.22 seconds. Each lap is 160 ft. 33 laps make a mile and I swam exactly a mile in one hour. Perfectly timed!
Yoga, vinyasa- one hour

My cat... today we're sitting out here watching a movie. My daughter had used the bathroom last. Yes, this is important . I hear something in the bathroom, like a cat playing in the toilet water. I look at my daughter, give her the "did you forget" look. Ask her if she shut the lid, she claims she did. Go in there and, yes she did shut the lid. My cat had managed to get the lid up just enough to squeeze in and play with the water! The lid was resting on her back as she played with the water. So, I think I need to find a weighted toilet seat lid to prevent her from being able to lift the lid. She's done it again today, so we put a heavy candle on it for now. She still keeps trying, but hasn't got it back up again. I'm just waiting for the candle to fall... that'll scare the heck out of her! And maybe deter future attempts at getting into the toilet.

Hi Prakas, nice to see you again! My daughter named our oldest cat. She's tearzy. My daughter picked out random letters and made the name that way. Had to take out a q though. Tearzy also likes to chew the fur off herself. Her vet offered to put her on the cat version of valium, but I said no. She's not hurting herself, and as soon as she starts chewing her skin, I'll put her on it. But right now, the only negative is she looks funny with no fur on the places she can reach. She also likes to knock the top off our fishtank. I don't know how she manages this because it's a recessed lid. She does that at night while we're sleeping. I've seen her looking at it, but always remove her. Maybe next time I should just let her go so I can see how the heck she does it!

Our second cat is little kitty. We tried naming her, but nothing stuck. She's a half siamese and half mutt. We got her early, and she doesnt "cry" much. Our first cat never makes any noise, so I think we just took our youngest too soon because she rarely makes a noise which is atypical of siamese.

Cerella, how many cats do you have? We were a three cat household, but I gave one to my mom when we sold our house. Just didn't seem feasable living in smaller space with all three. Though the one we gave to my mom was very very cuddly. The two we have left get along better, but neither are cuddly.

She did it again today because I forgot to put the candle on the lid. I ended up being splashed with toilet water when removing her from the toilet. Not cool.

Today-activity
Warm up and cool down and stretch for my run/walk
Walk 3 min/Run 3 min for total of 30 min
Roller Skating with my daughter for her end of the year class party.

Food
breakfast-peanut butter on whole wheat toast, 2 slices
lunch- boiled chicken breast with lemon pepper seasoning
Dinner- Blueberry pancakes, 3, and a side of strawberries.
Snack- piece of cake
Snack- apple with caramel

Calories-1598, so right on target.

Hi notme,

Sorry I did not post sooner. I sometimes do not get to stay on the computer too long. I am not sure if I thanked you for the worksheet, so 'thanks ' I have not done any resistance yet, not even sure what to do...maybe the bands.

Your Tearzy sounds so cute, I have a zippy that is a handful. She is about 7 mos now. She likes the cabinets, when I am cooking and open a cabinet she jumps in. I do not realize it then I see my cabinet door trying to open...there she is popping her head out. I also have a cookie, she is older and more relaxed. Just likes to be cuddled.

Good day with the calories being on target. have a good day.

Debbie

No cat stories today. We've been keeping the bathroom door closed. I'm sure we'll forget one of these times and I'll get splashed with toilet water again.

Went shopping and my hubby was crabby. 160$ for nearly a month of groceries isn't bad at all IMO. We make our small trip in two weeks for fruit, veggies, juice, and milk.

Today's activity
Rep log
Belly dancing video

Food
Breakfast- One peanut butter toast
Lunch- Two eggs with american cheese on toast
Snack- apple with caramel dip
Dinner- spagetti with garlic bread
Snack- pretzels

Total calories- 1403. The minimum of my goal today, but at least I hit my goal.

Debbie, you're very welcome. I have some bands, too, and I like that I'll be able to bring them with me on vacation. I'll just have to alter my worksheet to fit my bands instead when I go. Your zippy sounds cute. My cats like to hide in my closest when I open the doors. Both of them! I cant wait till they mellow out as they get a bit older. Though, Tearzy is almost five and still freaks out on us all the time.

Lazy day today. Can I count squirting my cat with a water bottle as exercise?

So today I did yoga for about an hour that went fine with just tightness in my quad. But first, there was my run. I was doing speed drills today. Did proper warm up and did my brisk walk first. My first 30 second sprint, by the third step, I had horrible pain in my right quad. I kept doing and made it to 20 sec. Did my min recovery walk for a min and a half instead. Then ran again, little less pain, but when I was walking could feel tightness in my quad. Did four sprints and then walked home. I noticed at first, when the pain started, I took smaller steps beause of the pain which made it worse. If I took longer strides, then it wasn't so bad and could at least make my 30 sec. Now, I'm feeling fine and during my quad stretch I felt minimal tightness then just felt like it normally does during a stretch. The lifting my leg was the painful part. Pushing down was fine.

Food
Woke up at 11 so no breakfast.
Lunch- macaroni and baby carrots with ranch
Snack- pretzels
Supper- pizza
snack- 2 licorice sticks
snack- 1/4 cup of soynuts

Ready to exchange my cat. Okay, so not really. I do love her but I'd really like to toss her across the room. Never will, she has claws and would dig them into my arm and take some skin with her I'm sure. Especially if giving her meds is any indication of what she can and will do to my arms...

I have to work tomorrow. So, early morning for me. About to head to bed, so goodnight everyone .

Activity
My rep log
DDR for about an hour. I don't know. Just played till I was pretty sweaty. It was fun since I haven't played for a bit.

Food
Breakfast
half a serving of frosted mini wheats and peanut butter toast
Lunch- chicken with lemon
Snack- pretzels
Dinner- tomato, lettuce, mozzarella sandwich with wheat and ranch
Snack-15 baby carrots with ranch
Glass of orange juice

And of course, tons of lemonade. And 3 diet pepsi's.

Total cals, 1538
