Rep Power: 27 | | My husband has just informed that the Air Force is celebrating it's 60th anniversary and they will be having a large ball at the Peabody here in Little Rock, which is really nice. This is going to be completely formal and will be held in September. So this means I have to squeeze my chubby self into some formal ballgown. I thought I was through with this stuff after high school. I have roughly 12 weeks to lose enough weight to look good in something else rather than a moomoo with sequins. If I really work hard and lose healthy 2lbs a week, I think I could be at least 20lbs lighter by then. Especially since I am now on synthroid. I am already training 4-5 times a week and consuming 1500-1600 calories a day. I'm not going to change my diet, but will definitely be upping my cardio much more until then. Gosh, wish me luck! |

Rep Power: 27 | | | Ate horribly all weekend. Back on track today though. I hate when we take trips out of state. There's only fast food to eat. |

Rep Power: 27 | | | Yeah, that's what won me over with my husband. I LOVE a man in uniform. He's a pilot so he always looks smokin' hot in his flight suit. I just need to get my butt in gear so I can look smokin' in my dress! |

I didn't see you popping up in my subscriptions so I apologize for not responding sooner. My baby turned one on June 17 and she's still not walking. I think its very unusual for a baby to walk at 10 months so dont worry about it. It'll happen more than soon enough, and they'll be getting into everything and we'll be burning lots of calories chasing them around. |

I am trying to avoid weighing myself for a few weeks so I don't get disappointed. I have increased my cardio by 30 extra minute three times a week so maybe that will help the weight come off a little quicker.
My daughter's crawling is definitely helping me burn calories. I can only imagine what physical yask it will be to chase her around when she's walking! And happy late birthday to little Angeline. |

Rep Power: 45 | | | That must've been extremely frustrating to do all that exercise and eat so well and not lose any of the baby weight. I was on what I thought was a plateau back in Oct but I think my eating and exercise wasn't as strict as it needed to be. I can definitely see that's not the case with you. I'm sure this medication will help your thyroid get the weight off now. |

It got so bad that I was only eating 500 calories a day, but I finally opened my eyes and realized what I was doing to myself. I'll bet your plateau was a result of being post pregnancy rather than eating and exercise. You seem to do really well with it. |

Rep Power: 27 | | | I went out on Saturday night for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. Sean and I got a babysitter and went to hear a friend's band play at some local dive bar. My girlfriends and I drank WAY TOO MUCH. I spent all of the next day on the couch with the worst hangover. I do not know what made me think I could still drink all night and wake up feeling great. BUT, we did have an amazing time. It was fun to feel like something other than a wife and mom. It will be a LONG time til I drink again though. I learned my lesson. |

Rep Power: 45 | | Hey sweetheart, how's it going? Hope the hangover has cleared up by now, but it sounds well worth the nice time you had. I hear you on the wife and mother thing rather than the sexy vixens we used to feel like . The weight really makes us feel like typical unsexy mommies though, right? And no, you definitely have me pegged wrong if you think I can keep up my good eating and exercise for more than 4 days at a time. But somehow, even with the weekly blips it steadily but very slowly did come off. The same will happen to you now that your thyroid will hopefully be working properly. Talk to you soon . |

You must be doing something right if the weight keeps coming off. You are definitely a success story. So many people can only go a short period of diligently working toward their goals. You have come so far and have done so well. Give yourself a huge pat on the back! |

Rep Power: 27 | | I have gone jogging for the past two days after work. My trainer has ordered 30-45 minutes of cardio every day until the big ball in September, then I can go back to 4 times a week. Ouch! It is so hot and humid here in Arkansas so I am soaked in sweat from head to toe when I get home from the run. I am getting 2-3 miles each day but would like to go longer, it's just too damn hot.
I am still eating 1400-1500 calories a day (except this past weekend) so hopefully the weight will start coming off soon. The thyroid medication is supposed to take 4-6 weeks until I start seeing and feeling a change. I hope this is why the weight won't come off. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
