I can't think of a weight that you would fit into the dress because its different for everyone. People of all different weights fit into certain sizes even if they are the same height. I'm sorry I can't give you an exact weight... the best I can do is tell you that I am currently 260 and 5' 1/2" and my size 26 jeans are falling off of me. I hope that helps.
Hi Jenna, Thanks for stopping back by!! Yes, It dose help me. I figure if your 260 and size 26 are to big, I would have to lose at least another 50 lbs before it would fit right, so I think I'll just pass it on to another friend--it's to big of a step to take at one time. Thanks ---I hope you will stop back in

I still havn't completely figured out the whole quote thing yet either
You don't have to pass the dress on... You can keep it deep in the back of your closet and slowly work towards it It could be your goal outfit... it may not happen by Christmas... but it Will fit you. I have a pair of size 14 jeans laying around that I hope to fit into before next summer
Its just a thought

Don't worry too much about small fluctuations. It happens with all of us and a large part of it can come from water retention. Oddly, the body will store more water if you drink less, and expel more of the stored water if you drink more. So, I find that if my weight goes up by a lb or two, I just chug some extra water and the added water weight seems to disappear.
Hi Sunny, Thanks so much for stopping by!!! Did I get you right, if you drink more water you will lose weight? Is this above the 8 glasses a day?
I try to stay bewteen 1500 and 2000. I don't really know what else to do, the only thing I've done so far to lose weight is just cut back on my eating. That worked when I started out at 398 but everything is slowing down now and I know I need to change things around--but I don't know what to do. Any advice???? ANYBODY???

Hey guys, I've been super busy all day, so I have'nt had a chance to check in today, I've found myself thinking about my dairy and wondering if anybody had sent me anymore great advice!!!
My weight this morning was 307 I love it when the scales go in the right direction!!
You have been such an inspiration to me already. I come to your journal everyday just to see how you are doing to keep myself in check. You are doing so good. I have the same habits, too. I always find myself wanting a snack and it isn't a healthy snack.
Keep on going!

I personally feel (not being an expert or anything) that 2000 calories sounds about right. Considering that this is what you've been doing, and its been working, then I say its the way to go. You dont want to go too low in calories when you're first starting off as your body will start to adjust to that low calorie intake and then you'll hit a plateau.
Why not ask maleficant (she's a regular on here I think I spelled her name right), I think she started around your weight range and has done a really great job of losing. Maybe she can give her opinion on your suggested daily calorie intake.
I do think you need to work on getting more exercise in. I think that will be very important to this whole weight loss plan.
I'm extremely pleased to see getting on a good plan and sticking with it for the long haul. So I am really truly routing for you . Can't wait to check in regularly and see your progress. If you screw up, feel free to let us know as we ALL (especially me) screw up but it helps to put it in the diary. Gives you perspective and is a reminder for the next time things start to go south.

Your doing an amazing job. I don't even know you and I am proud of you!
Why the first 5 ingredients? Because then it enforces someone to purchase a cereal that is better for them.
I wouldn't think their would be much to choose from with so much sugar in everything now days. The point is to get your choices narrowed down so you don't have the option to eat the fruit loops or whatever is your thing . There is a few different cereals that I found. Kashi is one of them. There are about 5 different brands (that I would eat..I am picky). They are Very tasty too. I could eat nothing but cereal all the time. I was happy to learn this new trick.
As you can see I haven't gotten the hang of using quotes..lol So I just use pretty colors.
One of the main things that helped me is learning to drink 4-16.9oz bottles of water a day. Which as you could add up (lol) is a little more the recommended amount of 8-8oz glasses of water a day. If you do that and add 3-4 servings of friuts and veggies a day you scale is going to drop!! The fruits and veggies and water is very important. I was amazed at the results when I did that. I found the reason it helped me is I was filling up on fruits and veggies so I wasn't hungry for the less healthier choices.
Well, I have written another book in your diary. If I didn't type so fast I wouldn't do this. Sorry. lol I am a real chatty person in person..lol I just woke up so If this is confusing..It's cause I'm still sleeping.
You can and will do this.
I can't wait to read your progress.

Hi Everybody,
I did'nt get to write in my diary yesterday, so I'm getting back on track. The last couple of days have really be busy, we worked out in the yard--mowed, weedeat, cleaned the garage out (wow--that was a job!!) We can get the car in it again LOL I even got some tomotoes, greenbeans and squash out of the garden. FREASH VEGGIES FOR SUPPER!! I did'nt write down what I ate to last couple of days--but it's been about the same. I think it's good to take a break once in awhile (maybe one or two days a month) If you allow yourself a couple days that you can eat anything you want--it's keeps me on track better when I know I'm only eating 1500-2000 calories a day. Dose anybody else thing so?
MY WEIGHT YESTERDAY WAS--306
MY WEIGHT TODAY IS --------305 I made it back down to my lowest yet!!
I'll try and check back in later tonight, and I'll get back to my food diary tomorrow. But now I'm off to water the garden before it gets dark. Talk to y'all later--thanks for stopping by!!! Marty

There's a stickied thread in nutrition on the benefits of CHeat Days which is sounds l ike that's what you are doing... If that's working for you -that's great, for me, I need to be a little more anal and have whatever I want, but keep my calories under 2200 for the day... though motivation lately has been waning...

FOOD BREAKFAST
SPECIAL K & MILK----270
BANANA-------------100 LUNCH
BEANS & ONIONS----330
2 COOKIES----------200 SUPPER
SLICE OF BANANA BREAD--150
GLASS OF MILK-----------300
TOTAL FOR DAY----1350
I was'nt to hungy today, 1350 is not that many calories but I'm not to hungy maybe I'll eat a snack later. Has anybody else ever had this happen--when you did'nt eat much but you was'nt hungy either? I'm getting down close to 299 pounds and it's been 18 years since I was there,so I've forgot alot of how I felt at that weight as far as hunger---I don't even know if this makes cents.
Oh well, thanks for visiting my diary I love to read all your comments and advice

Somedays I'm just not hungry. It happens. No matter what weight I am. Although, since i've started this even though I may not be hungry I forcefeed myself... I'm not saying you should do that because I don't know of that's a good thing.
But... it certainly is not abnormal for you to have a day where your not hungry
Keep up your good work and you'll get to that 299!
