You have been such an inspiration to me already. I come to your journal everyday just to see how you are doing to keep myself in check. You are doing so good. I have the same habits, too. I always find myself wanting a snack and it isn't a healthy snack.
Keep on going!

Hi Katrina, Thanks for your kind words, I think we all face the same things as far as our weight regardless if we have only a few pounds to lose or 100 or 200 pounds like me. That's what I love about WLF we can share our struggles and our victorys--because we all going through the same thing. The support is just amazing!! I don't know who thought of this (WLF) but I think it's great!! I've been fighting this weight battle my whole live--so I've seen it all, and I've never come across anything like WLF!!!

Somedays I'm just not hungry. It happens. No matter what weight I am. Although, since i've started this even though I may not be hungry I forcefeed myself... I'm not saying you should do that because I don't know of that's a good thing.
But... it certainly is not abnormal for you to have a day where your not hungry
Keep up your good work and you'll get to that 299!
Hi Jenna, I don't think I'll forcefeed myself--I think that's what I've done in the past--I ate myself up to 398 lbs.
Hey, I decided to take your advice about keeping my red dress--It will be my long term goal dress But my first mini goal is to get to 299---only 6 lbs to go

Your doing so great with your eating.
I have to forcefeed myself because otherwise I'm a don't start to eat until 2-3 in the afternoon and then eat till i go to sleep kinda person! So I had to train myself to eat.
Keep up the great work.

Hey guys,
I lost my diary and could'nt find it, how in the world do you keep up with all this stuff?? It was always near the top of the page on the dairy section but I looked and it was gone--so I thought it might have been moved somewhere else, but their is so many posts on here I did'nt figure I would ever find it and I'm not sure how I did, but maybe by posting this it will go back on the diary section. I hope so. Let me know if their is a easy way to find my dairy?? Please--I don't want to lose it again

if you go into your user profile, and find all threads that you started, it will turn up - or you can just put the link into your signature.
the threads in the diary section are there in order of latest posts - so it's possible to drop to page 2, 3, or 4 depending on how chatty others are being..

I've really been feeling down for the last few days, for some reason I just can't get down past 305 and I don't know why. I'm eating around 2000 calories a day and some of you all have sugguest that I start exerciseing, but there's just not much excercise I can do. I have tryed walking but my feet and legs feel like there on fire--I don't know if this is because of diabetes or not. I don't feel that I'm being lazy--I really do want to lose some more weight but I just don't know what to do or what wrong with me. Could it be the meds I'm taking? Or am I just past the point of losing any more weight--I'm 45 and I know I can't lose it as fast as I could 20 years ago,but I should still be able to do something. I would like to get down to 200 pounds that dose'nt seam to far of a reach to me.

Hi Marty!!! My last name's Marty so we are friends ;-)
Look, don't get down. We all have gotten down on ourselves when the weight doesn't seem to budge. Are you gaining weight? The answer's no. Are you watching what you eat and making better decisions about food? The answer's yes. So why do we get down on ourselves? Because it's human nature. We must be doing something wrong right? Not at all. This is your life, the only one you got. You're doing these things to better yourself for yourself. Keep at it, know that you are not alone and that you have support. You're at a plateau, we all hit them and only the strong willed get past them. You are strong willed Marty! Keep posting and keep doing everything in your power to succeed.
Just a suggestion for exercise, do you have access to a YMCA or club that has a pool? I know you may be shy about getting in a swim suit, but water exercise is best for people with a lot of weight and bad joints...
Keep at it!!! I'm pulling for ya!

Hi bgdave4
Nice to meet you and thank you for your kind words--they really do help!!
I think the reason this is getting to me so bad is the first 93 lbs just seam to drop off, it like I did'nt even have to do anything--which was GREAT!! Now I've been at 305 for about 2 months now--how long do the plateaus last?

Don't get down Marty! You are trying soo hard. Plateaus can last a very very long time... it totally sucks but they can. You've already lost 93 pounds that's such an amazing feat that many others never get to. Just be patient and the weight will come off again.
As for exercising... it may seem silly.... but you can dance around while sitting down. A lot of people get up and dance around... but if you're having trouble with your feet ... sitting and dancing around to music will also burn calories. Maybe you can get some sort of small hand weights and do some exercises with those.
Don't give up and be the strong person you are!

A friend give me a tape from Richard Simmons-Blast off, it's a 20 minute workout. I was thinking about trying it--I don't no if I can do it but the 20 mins. dose'nt sound to bad.
