Since most of what we eat is pre-packaged I am really trying to learn how to get out of that type of eating. I have managed to cut down my soda intake though. I was drinking 4-6 cans of soda a day and now I have maybe 1 a day if that. I still have a full case of sodas that i bought that I have yet to open since I am trying to stay away from drinking them. Right now my main problem is getting over strep and tonilitis cause it makes it really hard to taste things when you can't get the full effect of the things your eating. I am still working out I played for over an hour on ddr using the workout session that shows how many calories you burn and how many miles you do. I did over 7 miles in a hour and then did 2 sets of 15 bicep curls and did 1 set of 20 tricep extensions.
I also printed up a few things last night that I was looking at for exercises that I can do at home that doesn't require me having a gym membership. so i am going to start doing those. |

Rep Power: 17 | | | well tomorrow is the official weigh in. Ok well i got a hour working out on the ddr game done 9 miles and 150 calories according to the game plus I am giving my arms a rest as I worked them out yesterday but back to doing everything tomorrow. My official weigh in is in the morning for the first time since i started working out and watching my calories so I am kinda scared about what the scale is going to say. well I better get to bed its kinda late. I'll update in the morning after weighing in. Hoping I lose some weight as I am trying to do this in 9 months and its a lot of work but everything worth having is worth working hard for. and my husband also says no pain no gain which is what he used to tell me before I had my son when we were trying to work out and lose weight before. |

Rep Power: 17 | | | Official weigh In... woohoo WOOHOOO!!!!!! I have lost 3.6 lbs in a week. I feel great and I can't believe it. If it wasn't for watching my calories and actually moving more each day I wouldn't have lost any weight. I have to thank my friend Autumn, for getting me started on this forum which has given me a ton of motivation to get active and start losing weight again.
woohooo on to this week and hoping I keep losing weight. now to keep this moving... at least i sure hope so. |

| Congratulations!!! Isn't it great to see the results of your hard work!!!
I looked at your fit-day calorie counters. I see you entered whole milk. Have you tried 1 % or 2% milk? It has more protein and a lot less fat it in. Although I know the taste is probably not the same. That way you can even fit more food into the 1800 cal. Just a thought Quote: |
Now to just get rid of the fast food. I don't really know how to cook much so I am learning a whole new thing.
| I am an internet junkie, so I use places like vegweb.com and such where you can search recepies based on their ingrediets. It helped me out numerous times when I had just a squash at home and pretty much nothing else.
good luck on your weight loss, you sound determined and just imagine a look on hubby's face!!

Yes, I have thought about going to 1 or 2 % but not sure if i can get that with my wic vochers as that's what i use to buy milk otherwise we wouldn't drink much of it. So i have to look into that. I am always looking for new recepies to try so I think I will look at the website you use and see what i can find.
Yes the look on my hubby's face and the health of myself for my son and future children is the main thing that keeps me so motivated to keep going besides the support I get on this forum. Its great.
If you want a buddy I am always looking for one. I am internet junkie too but starting to get more active so i can lose this weight. |

I must say, I'm impressed with your determination It takes just this very thing to engage into a complete lifestyle change. I hope in the days, weeks and months ahead you keep this energy and concentration brimming within. The vision of a thinner you is a mighty power influence on keeping straight.
You're definitely off to a great start Keep the streak alive !! |

Rep Power: 17 | | Another new update woohoo I found a pair of my old jeans which are size 24's that I haven't been able to wear in about 2 years and I was able to get them on and zipped up they are a little tight on the waist but in a few weeks hopefully they will be looser on me. It felt great just being able to get them on. I am currently in size 26/28 jeans so hoping to get back into my 24's is my first small goal so hopefully by then end of august i will be able to where them comfortably.
well that's my update for now.
I didn't do to bad on my food today not sure on total cals though.
breakfast: 1/2 cup of fruit cherrios with 1/2 cup of whole milk
snack: 4 oz cup of peaches
Lunch: 6 inch chicken terriykai sub from subway
snack: quaker rice cake
Dinner 6 inch chicken terriykai sub
dessert: 1.5 white macadmia cookies
48 oz of water so far but still got a few hours before bed.
Exercise: upper body and abs not sure yet on the amount of sets or anything since i haven't done them yet. |

Rep Power: 66 | | Those little victories keep spilling over into one big beautiful weight loss. When you're weak, remember that size 24 story and just refuse to cave in.
I've written a million words on here how I feel about being strong and striving forward without giving up but only the individual can really 'feel' it, like you just did. I swear, these moments capture people into reaching their goals - even in their most trying moments.
Stay strong girl, you're doing great !! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
