I'm glad to hear that you are getting rid of the suit-o-death. It should be against the law to sell those in Georgia in the summer. I'm still looking for a decent bike for my apartment. Once both my girls are in school full time I will have very little time to get to the gym. Is yours an upright or a recumbent? How comfortable is it. And if you don't mind - how much did it cost?

I'm glad you're canning the deathsuit! At least you only spent $6 on it. Good job on the biking. I went out and walked 3 miles in 92degree heat. I should dust off my bike and ride in air conditioned comfort, but I'm a masochist, so that wouldn't work..lol...That suit of death experiment makes me think you might also be a touch masochistic.. .

Jenna, Griff and Kimberly , yes the suit is history ! Although I did give my kids a good laugh at seeing me in it

Griff , it is an upright and the handle bars rotate forward and backward as you peddle. It does have the digital readout for mph, distance and calories burned. I'm just using the distance feature and timing myself with my stopwatch though. It also has adjustable resistance . It was VERY inexpensive but it was basically all that could be had here in town. It was about $90 . It seems decent so far but I imagine for that price point it might fall apart at about the 500 mile mark *L* We'll see.

Why am I not surprised that you would bring up S&M ? I'm neither but if I HAD to pick one , I'd definetely be a sadist . much rather be the whipper than the whippee *L*
You should ride that bike in the a/c and get out of that humid 92 degrees. You can still get your fanny spanked *Whack*!

Well monday morning weigh-in was a bit of a surprise. I really felt like I was going to have gained back . Instead I was down .8 lb so today I was 303.2 lbs . It is very much in the realm of possiblity that I could be in the 200's at the end of this week! I think I'm going to ride the bike the rest of this week instead of the walking and see what kind of results I get.

I agree with you there, Paul... I'd be a sadist as opposed to a masochist. I just don't look right wearing collars and leashes, ya know? LMAO! jk By the way... good on you for throwing your "garbage bag suit" away. Those things are just horrible. Alrighty, shrinking booty.. talk to you soon.

Yes, I can just see you and Sheryl in leather dominatrix outfits wielding whips. In fact, I've already seen a pic of Sheryl in one. You two should start up a service for men who like to be flogged..lmbo

My, my how Paul's diary has deteriorated. Sorry!

Maybe you'd better dig that suit of death back out of the garbage..lol j/k Congrats on losing another .8pounds. You'll be in the 200s in no time at all--maybe even in time for your date.
