250 lbs!

Finally reached that first goal I set for myself back in July. Whew!
Now I REALLY have to get my butt in gear to knock out the next 50 lbs. My next goal is to be at 200 lbs by July 18th 2008. That will be the 1 year mark.

Like I said earlier, I want to thank this website and all of you people on it for being so fantastic and supportive! Ya'll are the best!


I'll post some new pictures with some before/during shots later tonight hopefully. Honestly I can't see a dramatic change but then again aren't we always critical about ourselves the most? I know that I've changed I guess it's just harder for ME to see it than others!. Well I'd better get some work done. Laterz

Just a quick story. When I was going thru my divorce, I was probably just about 25 lbs heavier than I am right now. I had been trying to lose weight up to that point then everything fell to shit. Anyways my ex came to my shop for some reason that I can't recall right now but what I do remember was the ugly thing she said to me as she left. She called me a "fatass". It hurt me more I think than the actual divorce did because I still remember that some 8 years later. She was right , I did have a fat ass. Maybe when I get down to 200 lbs I'll bring this up to her that I won't be a fatass anymore. I can say I can get rid of a fat ass but she'll still be an asshole

God... you have no idea on how much I want to punch your ex wife in the face. Ooops... I mean, I want to yell at her... yah, that's it. I'm the same way, honey. Name calling always has a tendency to really hit me hard. I was spat at, shoved from behind, and called a "butter ball turkey" when I was intermediate school by two guys who were older than me. Sadly enough, that shit still bothers me and I wish I could find them and punch THEM in the face.. also. (I like punching people in the face it seems. HA!)

I'm next in line after Sheryl to beat the crap out of your ex. If I remember correctly, she was pretty fat herself at one point, was she not? I think her basic problem is that she's a dumb fuck. A good ass-kicking could help that a lot. And if not, at least Sheryl and I would have fun kicking her ass.

I'm with Sheryl. I wouldn't mind punching your fucking bitch of an ex in the effing throat. I'm sure she has eaten her words many time since. You are a super guy and she is obviously the defective one. I too had a shitty ex husband who told me I was too fat when I was 135lbs and in awesome shape. He said it was sexy to see hip bones jutting out. Whatfuckingever.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Too bad that ex of yours hurt your feelings so bad--one big part of life is not letting things get to you for too long. I like that these ladies are defensive of Your Sweetness, but my personal philosophy is forgiveness--and I've had to forgive my BF a few times to truly understand what that entails! It ain't easy but the best things in life (like losing weight that you want to) aren't. I think a lot of people who have weight to lose start out with anger in their hearts at the ridicule they endured--then later, when they're slim and healthy and at peace, realize they now have to open up and forgive and move on. At least, that's my humble theory. It's of course different for everyone But I wish you the best for losing the last 50 lbs! Can't wait!
