Seems to be alot of water I guess because this morning I was down to 146.2 lbs. I'd like to get back to 245 by the end of the week but we'll see.

146.2?!! I guess that was a lot of water.

I'm sure you'll be back down to 245 before the week is through.

3lbs is still not bad--that's what I lost this month. And it's a helluva lot better than gaining 3lbs.

Anyway, I know you'll kick some ass in March.

I guess I have been spoiled by losing double that each month. I might have hit a plateau combined with my Vegas trip
I to be back on track though as I weighed in this morning at a new low of 244

Congrats on 244 and over 70lbs now!

It doesn't look like you've hit a plateau, or there would be no new low.

I just "feel" like I'm struggling though. Maybe it's more of a mental plateau

I like your 2 pounds a week challenge. The good thing about you is that you are always trying, and though you may have a smaller number, you are still taking it off. You are doing amazing with your 71lb loss. Keep it up!! 3 pounds gone is great for Feb. You are off to a great start for March. Doing it!

I just got done reading through your posts **whew**..... awesome job so far!! You're definitely doing the right things for yourself and over 70lbs already, that's great!! I'm back doing this thing again and in about the same boat, agewise and what not. That part about the seat belt on the airplane rings a bell for me. I'm actually a non-traditional college student and well... those desks are not built ideally for middle aged fat men. I can't wait to be able to sit in one rather than "squeeze" in one. I don't know when and at what weight that will be, but that is definitely a goal. Congrats again on the progress so far and keep it up.

Steve

Yeah, that could be it. I've had that feeling. I guess maybe you need to find some new form of motivation. Too bad you didn't sign up for my latest challenge. Maybe a new goal--like getting into a certain size jeans, or rewarding yourself with something for hitting a certain weight.

I hope you had a great weekend!

Looks like Terrelle Pryor's gonna keep us all in suspense until April 1st..lol. I'm pretty sure Michigan's off his list, though. Looks like Ohio St. or Penn St.

Yeah I'm trying to stay positive about it. A loss is a loss regardless of the size of it! I guess I had gotten used to seeing bigger numbers

Welcome aboard Steve!
Thanks for the congrats. You can lose as much as you want to so you feel comfortable in those desks. Good for you on being a "non traditional college" student! Just exercise and watch what you eat by counting your calories and you'll get to where you want to be weightwise in no time!
