I'll have to go check out the draft results. Henne to the dolphins eh?
Umm I think you are thinking of spider veins. Cause what I have isn't little and it's more than one. They're quite large actually and pretty painfull at times. Yesterday I had to stop what I was doing and go sit down for a bit. It's like my veins are swollen and knotted/twisted if you can picture that. Let's put it this way, I live the entire summer in shorts usually. Not this year. I wouldn't want to scare little children
This is a picture I found , I'm not this bad but it could get this bad unless I do something.

Yeah Bill Parcells must think Henne is something special or he wouldn't have wasted a pick on him I don't think.

I can't imagine why your insurance wouldn't cover that if it's causing you pain and could get worse. What's the latest on that? I would think you'd be able to get in to have it done pretty quickly. Does your doc know what caused it?

I checked out the draft picks. I can't believe Shawn Crable went to the dark side (the Pats).

Well according to the guy I talked to at my insurance, he said I should be covered but he couldn't say for sure because they had not received a diagnosis from them and said he showed no record of anyone contacting them since a few years ago. They said at the time I was there that they schedule the appts six months out because you are supposed to wear those damn support sock things first and also they are backlogged in appts. It's usually caused from heredity(not for me) or weight and standing alot which was both for me.

My dad had to wear those socks for awhile after his knee replacement surgery. Did you get them yet? They are so tight, it makes them a real bitch to put on. I'm sure it'll be a lot easier now, though that you've lost so much weight.

Have you bugged the doc to get the info to the ins co? The sooner that happens, the sooner you'll know and can get it all taken care of. I hope it goes well for ya.

yes I got them. These socks I gotta wear come all the way up to my groin They're comfy yet they're not yanno.

I actually called the Drs office yesterday after I posted on here. Damn good thing I did too! The girl that I had initially talked to in the office on my first visit totally fucked up. She's not employed there anymore I come to find. Seems I didn't even have a procedure appointment on the books. The person I talked to yesterday apologized all over the place. I actually have to go back in July for a 3 month follow up to see if I've gotten worse. Then I'm scheduled for my first surgery on Sept 8. She's sending in something to my insurance and will let me know what they respond with.

-.2lbs is not a plateau silly. When you don't lose any weight at all for a couple of weeks is. You just need to change things up with your exercise, and maybe do a refeed to boost your metabolism.

Good thing you called them. I have found that you have to stay on their asses in order for anything to get done--especially the insurance companies.

When I think of you in your "socks" the following comes to mind:

MEN IN TIGHTS!!

Have a good weekend, dear!

Just checking to make sure those tornados that hit GA weren't near you. I didn't see what part of GA they hit. Hope the weekend was good. Did you have your kids?

Well I'm at 235.2 this morning. I've been hovering around 235 for about 3 weeks now. First time this has happened to me like this since I started.

Yeah it hit my area pretty good. I didn't have any damage though. Worst thing happened to me is my internet is out at home
Yup, had the kids with me this weekend. They stayed later with me than usual because they had no power at their mothers house.
Hope you had a nice weekend.

Glad you're all right. Sucks your internet's down at home, though. Reminds me of the recent South Park where they all headed out Californie way...lookin' for some internet. So did you pack the kiddies up and do that? I can just see you like the dad needing privacy for his internet porn...

If you're hovering, you need to switch it up. Do a refeed (don't go crazy..lol) and change up your exercise. This would be a great time to finally hit the gym.

No we didn't head out to Cali lookin for some internet although we were definetely in some withdrawl *L* Internet porn ? what is this internet porn of which you speak?

I have been changing the calories up and down trying to break free but so far no luck. This morning I was 235.8. We'll see what it is tomorrow but I'm not very optimistic that it will be below 235

Get the to the gym at once! Time to shock your body out of the same old same old.

What exactly have you been doing with the calories? Have you been consistantly eating at what should be maintenance? I would recommend this for a week or two. Sounds like your metabolism has slowed down from all the dieting. Bound to happen sooner or later.

Well I managed a .4 lb loss again this week so not all hope is lost!

I have been still eating in the 1800-2000 calorie range. I figured my BMR for 234 lbs at 2600 for sedentary and 2900 for lightly active. I'm more in the lightly active range exercising at least 6 days a week. Seems I'm adapting to this though. The last couple of weeks I've been trying to eat around 2100 calories one day then closer to 1800 the next. I'm scared to eat much more than that for fear of adding weight back on. I'm goig to try getting out and walking this weekend (weather permiting) and maybe do some actual ...jogging! *gasp*

have a good weekend!
