I am bummed out. I got so bloated today, sign of TOM and now my tomorrow's weigh in will be all messed up.
Debating to run tommorrow morning or not. I have boot camp in the afternoon, I might skip the running again to give my legs a break. They seem to hurt lately. Maybe it is time for new shoes.
My daughter's last teeth are coming in, so we have been up 3-4 times a night lately. It is really draining. And my job is driving me crazy as well.
Ok, time to quit the pitty party, here is to a great tomorrow!!!

Hello Hajni,

Doesn't Tom suck and teething ugh i don't miss that one at all. Alex's 2 year molars are still coming in but aren't bothering him as much right now as they did before. i can't wait until he's totally done teething. I need to get some running shoes too but I haven't been able to run at all in forever I don't have the balance let alone the confidence yet to even try. I do walk fast paced though or try to but even that kicks my butt still.. lol Anyways, Hope your weigh in isn't too messed up tomorrow. Good Luck weighing in and doing your measurements. I know I am not sure how often I will do my measurements as I just took them on monday. since i forgot to take them when i first started exercising and doing the changes in my food. My clothes are starting to fit looser though so that's a good sign.

Keep up the good work on the running cause I know its hard work. Well going to finish cleaning and try to get in my exercise before the grandparents get here.

What a disappointment

Well, just like I thought, I had a huge disappointment on my weigh in day. 166.5. The scale was showing 165.5 for the last 3 days, but I felt myself getting bloated as a clear sign of TOM coming soon. This is so unfair.I can't handle more NO-LOSS weeks. I have been dealing with this for the past two months. It totally kills my motivation.
I went running today but I only did 2 miles, my heart was not in it. I will still do my boot-camp class this afternoon.
I am not even going to list my foods today. I am just way too sad/mad/disappointed right now. I won't give up weight loss, but I just have to focus on tomorrow. It will be better.
Hajni

Edit : I took my measurements this morning.

OK, I went to boot-camp class and there was no class. Not enough people showed up to keep it.
Oh, well I just jumped on the elliptical trainer and did 45 min. supposedly burning 350 cal.
I am not so down anymore about today's weigh in, I am looking forward to next week.
oh, I should mention, that English is not my first language so if my spelling is not correct or my choice of words seems weird it is not because i am ignorant!!

Thanks Rimay for your nice words!!

I am trying to convince DH to invest in a Treadmill at home. We have to have a major rewamping of our schedules and it won't allow me to work out at the rate I am doing now. The park where I run is always deserted ( I live in a rural area kind of ) and I am afraid some crazy might just figure out my schedule. I can cancel my gym membership and will have more time to work out, since I don't have to drive there. Maybe a couple of work-out videos instead of my boot-camp. Pretty much the only time I will be able to work out from now on is in the morning between 5.30-6.45.
He was against the idea last night, but warming up to it. We'll see. Not too mention that I don't think I have the stamina to run outside, I find it very hard. I can run on the treadmill 3-4 miles no problem. It is going to be a big hit on our wallet but if I cancel my gym membership that will make up some of it.
I still would love to go hiking, and walking.. etc.

well, it is raining hard here, no exercise for me today.

ETA: I bought a treadmill today. Hoping to put it together tonight and have my work-out tomorrow morning on it.
I fell off the wagon hard today. I had some fruity puff pastry thing that was about 1500 cal at least, ice cream (not the fat free kind), and all kinds of other food. I probably gained like a lb today.

I have to pull myself together for tommorrow.

Ok, I am back to my routine

I am back to my routine and sticking to it.
Doing well with food today, and just ran 3.65 miles (500 cal) on the treadmill. I was watching a movie and was not even concentrating on the time, it took me about 50 min. I think.

Breakfast:
6 oz egg white (from the box)
1/2 zukkini
5 big strawberries
my coffee
1 Boca sausage
1 tomato sliced

no snacks, I was cooking all morning and had no time for snacks
Have not had lunch either, although I am going to eat something. The smell of cooking always makes me full.
I made 2 Hungarian dishes: potato papricash, stuffed cabbage then I made Vegetarian Soybean loaf, Sun-dried tomato and Bean risotto. This is going to last for whole week.

I am going to run tomorrow morning again, shooting for 3 miles, we'll see how I will do.

woohoo for getting back on track and running again. You can do it. I am so glad that the workout site was a good tool for you. I was doing some of the ab movements that i found on there last night and boy did my abs burn for a while afterwards. It felt great. I am so happy that it will be a good thing for you and me. there are some great workout tips on that site. Well hopefully we will both have great weigh in's and stuff when you weigh in next time. I weigh in tomorrow morning but not sure bout how often to take the measurements. How often do you take your measurements? Ok I am going to clean now see you later.

gotta love having energy plus getting stuff done... lol ok talk to you later
hope you have a great day

HI Heather, thanks for stopping by!! I was a little out of it for the last couple of days but I think I am back to being focused.
I take measurements once in 4 weeks. That is the only way I see a mentionable difference. I only lost like 4 inches since my last measurement. Hope to do better next time.
I am thinking about doing some of the exercises on that site on the days when i am not doing my boot-camp. When I exercise at home, my daughter tries to do it with me, so cute. And then she gets in the way!!
I have to run it's bath-time!!

Ok are you sure your scale is broken? my scale is a digital one and anytime it does that to me i know its time to put in a new battery. I would check that first if it is a digital one cause that is usually the indicator that its time to change the battery. Hope it was accurate either way.

Thanks Heather!! It is a digital and when I checked, it said the battery is not user-replacable, I would have to send it back to the factory to replace it.
I don't know how much that would cost me, I think I got this scale pretty cheap? I think we bought it in 2002-2003 or so. Should I attempt to send it back , or just forget about it and get one that is actually user replacable battery? i should look up the manufacturers website.

Anyway, I ran this morning, a little over 3 miles, and enjoyed it very much, I am in love with my treadmill!! Boot-camp is tonight, hopefully it won't get cancelled.

Breakfast :
1 slice ww bread
1 tbs peanut butter (reduced fat)
1 cup strawberries
1 plain fat free yogurt (6 oz)

Snack:
1 banana

Lunch:
Sun-dried tomato risotto (homemade, around 350 cal)

Snack:
1 oatmeal package
1/2 c. fat free milk

Dinner:
Lean Cuisine Mushroom Pizza
Steamed broccoli with some lemon juice and pepper.

TOM found me this morning, the bloating should be gone in a couple of days.
