Rep Power: 20 | | Thanks Rimay for stopping by!! I never thought I would be a "treadmill girl". I love nature, love animals, one of my favorite things to do is go hiking, or even biking.. and here I am running on a treadmill, watching my videos!!
Had boot-camp yesterday, the class was great. Incorporated some new moves, now I am hurting all over!! Instructor is lucky, we all love her!!
There might be some kickboxing class starting September but in the meanwhile I think I am going to try turbo jam. I need to work out a good 1.5 hrs every day(including running). These lbs just have to go !!!!
I found some old pictures from the time my daughter was born in 2005. OMG!! Was I fat!!! Even my husband was looking at them and looked at me : "I can't believe you were so BIG!! You were as big as a house!!" I love the man, he is so honest! So I have to scan them up and post them here. I am glad I looked for them, now when I feel like whining about no loss I just have to take a look and give me an extra inspiration!!
Ok, enough of me, now my food list for today: Breakfast:
2 Kashi frozen blueberry waffles
3 tbs of apple sauce (organic, non-sweetened)
1 c. fat free milk
2 tbs. walnuts
coffee Snack
1 peach Lunch; Vegetarian soy bean loaf with whole wheat pasta (home made)
1 c. lettuce with fat free dressing
1 small apple Snack
3 tbs fat free cream cheese
15 wheat thins (reduced fat) Dinner:
2 slices of ww bread
1 veggie burger
Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers
1 c. strawberries
1 frozen fruit pops, no sugar.. like 30 calories |

Rep Power: 20 | | | Ok, half-way there pictures I got inspired by other posters to finally post my pictures in my diary. My DH took the pictures and insisted on my head to be "cut off" LOL.
These are the half way pictures, I will call them. I will post the highest weight pictures maybe tomorrow, I have to find a way to scan them first. I am about 166 on these.
Be kind!! I know I have a way to go but I also know the long way I have come.
Hajni
Edited: I added a photo with my clothes on. I think it hides most of it!! I am the one with the jean shorts.

Rep Power: 20 | | | My before pictures. Ok, I scanned the one picture I found that shows how big I was!!. The first one was taken when my daughter was 11 days old back in 2005, ignore the '98 on the picture, the date feature of the camera was broken. I think I was between 205-210 at the time although for the first 6 weeks postpartum, I lost about 7-8 lbs, so pretty much started from 200. I put it side by side with my current picture,it was taken on my vacation to Hungary around May 15th, 2007, I am about 166 on this picture. Well, I should have done this sooner, I definetely see the difference!!.

Rep Power: 17 | | | yay we got pics of you i can totally see a difference in the before pic and the new pics. I need to find a pic of me right after i had my son. I was pretty big but not as much as i weigh now. i am actually heavier now then i was when i had my son but now i am only about 12 lbs heavier now then 3 years ago. but that's cause i have already lost almost 10 lbs since i started 2 weeks ago
keep up the good work. i so need to get me a treadmill or ellipitical. i miss working out at a gym but since they cost so much i can't afford it. I would also say if you can just buy a new scale with a user replaceable battery instead of sending the one you have back cause it will probably cost you just as much to send it in as it would to buy a new one |

Rep Power: 17 | | | hi Its great that your new scale should be here soon. what kind did you get? I made a shake for breakfast too but the flavors were a little weird since i didn't have plain yogurt only flavored.. so it had a lot of different stuff.. lol
anyways hope your weigh in isn't too bad but even if the scale does go up remember your on tom and that always tends to add weight to things.
hope your having a great day. |

Rep Power: 20 | | Thanks Rimay, thanks Heather!!
My scale is on its way, should get here Sat. I ordered it from Amazon, it is Omron and supposed to measure BMI and body fat content.
So my weigh in day is today, well 0.5 lb is a loss I guess.
Oh, and I said I was going to take a rest day yesterday but I got so antzy and I felt bad that I did not move my big butt the whole day, that I got home from work and jumped on the treadmill for 2 miles. Not much but I felt better afterwards!!
Just a note: treadmill calorie counts are a way off. I knew that before but now I experienced it. I have an HRM that measures calories. I ran this morning, I kind of did a HIIT session (a beginner one), but I accidentally unplugged the key so I have no idea how many miles I did altogether. The treadmill said I burned 420 calories, my HRM said I burned 325. Big difference.
Oh, and my resting heart rate IS low. I still haven't had the stupid blood-work done, this Sat. I am going. My resting heart rate is 49-55 ??
Oh, and I had this nice reward schedule at the beginning of my diary I think I am up to rewarding myself like I was weighing 150!! Ha-ha.
With August here I am really really trying to get down to the 150's.
My food for the day. Breakfast:
1 c. oatmeal
Some frozen fruits
coffee Snack
1 small apple Lunch
1 Lean Cuisine Mushroom Pizza ( I know I eat a lot of these!! So convenient!)
1.5 c. mixed salad no dressing
1 c. strawberries Snack
Rice cakes Dinner
???? I will update later
Update: had a bowl of cereal, cheerios with fat free milk, and strawberries. Not much of a dinner, but I loved it!!
And as a desert I treated myself to one of the fruit pops, no sugar, no nothing, like 30 cal. Awesome!!

Rep Power: 20 | | | Here is to a new me!! So I decided once the weight loss thing is over, I still will be exercising 3 times a week and watch my calories. I like exercising, I like how I don't run out of breath after climbing one set of stairs, like how I have more energy..etc. And frankly there is no way I am going through this again!!!! Hubby and I are planning to get pregnant next year and I will be like an angel during that pregnancy. There is no way I am going to put on 60 lbs like I did with my daughter!! It is so much harder to take it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway that said, I am doing awesome!! TOM bloating is gone, my scale showed 164.5 this morning YAY!! I had so much energy last night, my boot camp instructor wanted to double the class time for me!!
Today's running is done, 3 mi, 45 min(with warm up and cool down), about 380 calories burned.
My friend from work just brought her exercise DVD in for me to try, I guess it is Carmen Electra...or something, I am not sure, I'll keep you updated.
My food for the day:
Breakfast:
1 c. fat free milk with 1.5 c. all bran cereal with
1.5 tbs wheat germ
3.5 tbs raisins
2 tbs sliced almonds.
Of course my darn coffee
Snack
1 small apple Lunch:
OF COURSE : Lean Cuisine vegetable egg roll
2 c. lettuce with tomatoes, no dressing
1 kiwi Snack
1/2 c. fat free cottage cheese
1/2 c. frozen blueberries
Dinner:
Veggie Burger
Lettuce
2 slices of ww bread
mustard
I feel very powerful and very positive this morning!! here is to keep that up!! |

Rep Power: 20 | | Finally, I got to the lab to do my bloodwork, results on Tuesday.
Last night I did the Carmen Electra's workout video, well I am glad I did not buy it, it was loaned to me. It is so useless. It did not raise my heart-rate and it did not give me a good muscle work-out either. I did the whole DVD, about 1 hr then I did my 20 min. pilates. The pilates was 10 times harder.
No plans for today as far as workout goes, we'll see. Definetely the treadmill and maybe some pilates. Seems that running makes my muscles tight, I think I am not streching enough.
Update on my food later. |

Sorry the dvd was a waste of time. Glad you didn't spend your money on it. Hope you have a great day. I know all to well about the not stretching enough sometimes cause my legs will get cramps in them when i try to do a move if i haven't stretched enough before the workout or after it. well good luck today and keep up the good work. |

Rep Power: 20 | | HI Heather, thanks for stopping by!!
Yes, I think I need to strech more after running, right now I only do a couple of quick moves and off I go..
Well, today's food was a so-so, I have to make up by not eating dinner. Breakfast:
3 wasa bread w/ peanut butter and honey,
1 small apple.
coffee Lunch (at 3.oo pm, we were out shopping)
1 black bean, rice & corn spinach wrap , got it in Mother Earth's a natural food store.
More than 1 handful of mixed nuts (trail mix) and honey nut sesame sticks.
This made me so full, it has been 3 hours and I think I am skipping dinner.
I did not exercise yet, I am thinking of running on my treadmill and do like a 20 min. We'll see if it happens. |
