I wish I could, but I really don't have anything else going right now--the other set of buyers seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. I think maybe they bought something with another realtor. Oh well.

I found out that it looks like this closing in April will put me on the next commission level--where I get 10% more from each closing. Unfortunately, at the end of each year it starts back at zero, and my year begins May 1st. There's no way I'll get another sale in to get the extra commission, and now have to start all over. I thought we all started over at the beginning of the calendar year. So now my brilliant success since the beginning of the year is diminished in my eyes.

Congratulate yourself for getting up into the next level anyway. That is a great achievement in a difficult market - and you have had other major issues like the pregnancy (and parental health) to deal with. It is a shame that it will not bring the financial rewards that it deserves this time round - but maybe next year will work out well. You are doing so well to be pulling the rabbit out of the hat in terms of sales at this stage in your pregnancy when most women would be at home with their feet up accomplishing nothing in their career.

Have confidence in your ability to keep your winning streak running and you may well manage to start the next business year with a chain of great deals that really help out financially.

Keep your eyes open you just need one property to sell and one serious buyer to walk through the door and you could have another deal on your hands if they are the right fit.

Margaret--Yes, I am thinking like you said. Trying to put a positive spin on things..lol I should be happy I can still work and make $$. My co-worker who had a baby in Sept said she couldn't even drive the last couple of weeks before she delivered--and she had her baby at 39.5 weeks. Of course, she is very petite and small framed whereas I am tall and large framed. Makes it easier to lug 30 extra lbs around.

Got to the gym today. That makes twice this week. They were surprised to see me there and still preggers..lol.

I also finally got some lavender oil to use during labor. It's supposed to be calming and also help prevent tearing when massaged into the perineum. TMI?

I think cloth diapers have really come a long way from what they were when I was growing up. Neither of these require plastic covers--they are already waterproof. I should save a bundle of money and help the environment by using them.

There will be no washing line of nappies as our condo association does not permit them. So into the dryer they will go.

Still no baby. I ate shrimp for dinner last night b/c two girlfriends swore it sent them into labor. Didn't work, although a co-worker told me today she thinks I've dropped since she last saw me a few days ago. So that is promising.

He'll be here soon enough! I keep checking in on you to see if he's decided to make his appearance!

It sounds like SweatPea knows something about baby gender that I dont know. Is it still a surprise or did someone cave in and find out while I was MIA?

I think that it is short-sighted of the condo board to refuse washing lines. It is much the sounder solution for the environment (not to mention being cost effective) - and there is nothing to stop a fenced off area being used to separate the washing lines from the more picturesque aspects of the surroundings. I actually think that a line of washing looks quite nice in a garden on a summer day. Dont get me wrong - I do have a dryer and I am happy to use it - but I have a washing line too that I sometimes use if the weather is good.

It is a shame that the shrimp did not have an effect. Lets hope that something happens naturally before too long. If I remember right you are seeing your midwife today. I hope that it goes well.

We still do not know the gender, but we suspect a boy. My gran has had two dreams that it's a boy, and her dreams seem to be very accurate--she predicted all three of her sons via dreams--even when she desperately wanted the 3rd boy to be a girl..lol. And a good gf who has only been wrong once also thinks it's a boy. So...we shall see.

I am pretty sure the baby dropped overnight. I had some major braxton hicks around 2 am, and then when I got up, felt a ton of pressure down there that wasn't there before. I have a midwife appt this afternoon, so we shall soon see what progress (if any) has been made.

The midwife appt went very well. I am 80% effaced, 1-2cm dialated, and the baby has DROPPED!! She said it's at a zero--head is engaged in the pelvis. She was very pleased, and said it will probably arrive in the next few days. If not, they will induce on Sat morning, but she highly doubts it'll come to that.

Yayee!! Any time now! OMG - goosebumps - you will get to hold your own baby so soon now.
