So its day one I am just waiting out time to have my second meal, I am feeling a little hungry. The crackers are helping. First thing I did today was clear out the pantry and the fridge and gave all my food to my mum, so my pantry is pretty bare. I feel so much better for doing it. I have gone through one bottle of water and just starting on my second I still need to do my measurements.

Hi Suzie, I found your diary by accident! The forum is so quiet over the weekend I've been wandering further afield. The others in the Cohen's thread of the forum probably won't find it over here so if you want to ask anything specifically about the program best to ask in the "Support" thread. Good for you starting your diary. It's very therapeutic & great for your motivation. Happy "losing," cheers from Cate.

Day 2 - I don't feel as bad as yesterday probably because I had my meals earlier> I was a little naughty this morning I weighed myself!! but it was good to good to be considered normal obviously all the water I drank over night I dropped 1.3kg hahah wouldn't that be brilliant on a daily basis, but its ok this time I feel more in control and I won't allow myself to get dissapointed when things slow down I know thats were I normally go wrong. I have prepared all my meals for tomorrow coz I will be doing about a 13 hour day tonorrow so I am ready to go I will have to make sure I drink my three bottles of water. I have kept them up yesterday and today and I think I can already feel a difference in my skin, wasn't that oily which is good. For dinner tonight I made cabbage and chicken kind of like a stir fry with balsamic, pepper and pinch of salt. I am very impressed that my one teaspoon of salt lasts over all my meals I have even had some left. I am feeling really good about this and I know I will stick to this, I have planned deviations because I have two christenings in October but even then I will try and stick to as many cohens or healthy options as they become available. IT has been suggested I make some goals, I won't make them to far ahead because again in the past they have deterred me when I don't meet them, this initial one is to get into the 80's. That will be my first big one and to get myself back into a size 16!! Ok I am going bed now another thing I need to do is make sure I get enough sleep.

Hi mel!!
Well so far so good in the first night i did suffer from a bit of a head ache I think that was because I had my first meal at 2pm and my last at 1:30am, so the time in between meals was tough and it was the first day. I have just done my third day and my headaches is truly gone which is good. I also had to work today and was at work from 8am til 9pm, i thought it was going to be tough but it was actually a lot easier becuase the time flew. I also prepared my breakfast, lunch and dinner the night before and I have done the same for tomorrow. I love it, I have minimal dishes and only spent $30 for 5 days worth of food, so I am saving money to. I also weighed myself this morning and I have lost 2.1kg!! that is amazing but I know that won't be common the first week is always the best bit. I did have one moment that I was upset about after we finished work my boss decided that we should go and have dinner at a restuarant!. I was a little upset because I told him what I was doing and that I need to lose 30kg so I need to stick to this and make it work, he knew it was my third day in, but he still went ahead I just went with it, he went ahead and sat us down in a restuarant while he at a souvlaki while I tried to secretly eat my pre made dinner from a container. But it did prove something that I was able to stick to my guns and now I feel good for it. He is a great boss and I don;t know if he was thinking about it or testing me but I was a little hurt by it.

Today I had 2.5 litres of water I really need to try and make the 3.8litre mark. Some other things I noticed today was that I didn't feel hungry like I did on saturday and my skin I feel is clearer or something ?!!?

Also next week I am on the road for work I spoke with the motel owner and he said that he would be happy to cook anything I wanted, so I can cut and measure everything up and they will cook it for me. It's nice to see you can get that kind of support from total strangers. How are you going mel, I gonna try and search for your diary now sometimes I find it sometimes I don't luckily I have the link you sent through.

I weighed my self and am very very happy to say that i am 4.2kg lighter than when I started and have reached goal one (only just) this morning I weighed in at 89.8kg!!!!! this is so far the best thing I have done I honestly do not get major starving attacks just mild rumblings that are settled when I have my snacks or meals. An observation drinking more water seems to help things along alot, so make sure to keep that up

I am having urges to deviate !! I think it something to do with walking through the food court at the local shopping centre. The urges arnt anything like binge eating 10 meals from KFC its more like wanting a cooked tuna hand roll with sause, or a cup of milky tea with a choc chip cookie? or a warm bread roll with butter .... what is happening, I ofcourse haven't deviated but its been on my mind since I got home !

Hi me, my weight didn't move this morning, mmm to be honest i was upset but i should be happy that it didn't move up! I have to really careful at this point and not deviate. Travel starts next week and just thinking about it worries me I won't be in the comfort of my home and it may be more difficult to track things, I may have to eat canned tuna which i am not a fan off, I only like it when its in oil I can stand the one in spring water, hopefully that teaspoon of mayo will help the process I am going to have to prepare and try and avoid cooked meals even though the motel offered to cook my food once I prepared it, I may not have the time to go shops buy the chicken etc etc, just because of the work hours and most of the spare time will be sent driving to each location, so the plan is boiled egg and tomatoe for breakfast, ricotta, salads and cucumber for lunch, canned tuna w mayo and balsamic and maybe cucumber again they seen the simplest options. It will also help me manage the trips ahead ! and the water can be sippeed slowly coz I can;t afford to do a million stops on the drives coz everything is time critical.

So I need to make sure I get through this next week, this is a day by day process, and I just need to take each day at a time. But I wish that 600g would move away so I can stake claim to a clean 5kg loss

Hi Mel, I hope everything is ok with you xox

Well I just got back from my first trip away from work and I am so proud of myself I did note deviate once. The only thing I didn't do was get my adequate water intake. I could'nt because we spent alot of time in the car travelling long distances so toilet stops were something I had to avoid. I will do a weighin tomorrow monring to see if my efforts have been rewarded. I amalso looking forward to having a warm meal stir fry chicken with vegetables yummo... for the last four days I have had cold lunches and dinners!! And I had to eat tuna in water which I am not a fan of, but it really wasn't that bad.
