Sounds like you had a great b-day celebration with sweetpea! Yay to getting an mp3 player, I know I couldn't live without mine. lol.
And that's so amazing to hear about your friend!!!!! Cancer is such a horrible thing, I've known too many people that have some sort of it. And to see someone pull through and have it go away with treatment is just wonderful! I'll keep her in my prayers that everything keeps going well.
Keep rocking it out hun, just like you always do!
xoxox | Hey Elle!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Yeah the bday celebration was awesome. Sweatpea is the bestest friend I have ever had. And I ain't just saying that!!!
the mp3 player made all the difference in the world the other day while I was on the elliptical. I felt like I was just going to town.
Thanks for all the prayers for my friend. I really am praying that she will be in the precent that makes it. The one who sets the curve for what the precentage should be.
Keep up all the hard work! |

Rep Power: 35 | | No Loss~No Gain Well the weekend just zoomed right by me. I had to work on Friday so didn't roll in until 3:30 in the morning. Turned around and got up at 7am to go with the ladies group from church to go to this all day (ALL DAY!!) tour of a historical site. It was 200 acres big. So considering all the walking we did, even if it was at a leisurely pace, I counted that as exercise. Ate really well that day to.
Had a Special K snack bar for breakfast and banana. Packed 3 more of the bars with me knowing that the food at this place wasn't going to be healthy friendly. Did split a BBQ sandwich with Sweatpea and an oatmeal raisin cookie.
After we left we stopped at a Bob Evans. Absolutely NOT a place I would normally choose to eat at. Especially since they have basically done away with their healthy choice menu. Ended up getting a farmers Omelette with some hashbrowns on the side. Immediatley cut it in 1/2 and stuffed it in a box. I did have a slice of Sweatpea's bread that came with her meal. But like I said other than that I think that I did pretty well.
Today is a whole nother ball of wax.
We had our annual hog roast out at the church. Did okay but I did have a 1/2 of a piece of pumpkin pie that I split with dh. It can be extremely difficult to eat at one of those functions. The main problem for today was that I didn't drink any water at all. I know BAD BAD BAD!!!!!
I jumped on the scale on Sat. morn and it was exactly where I left it the week prior. So this week I am going to try and work out everyday on my elliptical.
MIL goes home on Tuesday. I have always said that she is a nice lady but it will be nice to have my house back to myself. To get back into my routines that I have.
So that is the major news. Not really major.
Of course there probably is more but I am so beat that I can barely keep my eyes open. My post may not even make sense to anyone.
So off to bed I am going to go.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!! |

So what's on the exercise agenda for us tomorrow? We walking outdoors? I could bring my silly dog to keep Mr. T entertained. |

Rep Power: 20 | | | It will prob be easier to be focused when the house is back to "normal". Bob Evans? I have never ever allowed myself to go in there as I'm sure the temptations are too great lol!
Keep up the good work! |

It sounds like you had a fun weekend also, even though you had so many food temptations in your way. You did really well, and you should be proud of yourself. Good luck this week!! Hey, did you use your ab roller this weekend??

I know a little late but : HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Sounds like a full weekend!! I am always dreading those functions involving food because I know the temptation is going to be too huge.... and most of the time I give in. Then I regret it later. Also I have not been to a family or friend party around where there was healthy food. Not even water to drink. All they always have is soda or booze.
Don't sweat the no loss week. No gain on birthday week is already an achievement!! You will see a loss this week I am sure.
NIce to have your house back to yourself. I don't know how I would exercise with my MIL in my house all the time. I don't even like my DH walking around me when I am sweating and jumping around to my Turbo jam.
Have a great week!!

Keep up the good work! | Trust me!!!
I wish that I never ever had to go in there either. But it seems that things are conspiring against me. I don't really care for the food and the prices are way to high. |

Kim | Thanks Kim for the kudos on the food temptaion choices. Some of them were really really tempting!
I'll be honest and say that I haven't used it at all in about a week. I just didn't feel like being a monkey in a zoo having everyone watch me on the silly thing. But now that things are back on track I'll be rocking and rolling! |

Hajni | Thanks for the encouragement and stopping by to wish me a happy bday.
I am not to down on myself about the no loss since I am still down 17 since the beginning of my journey and I am into a pair of jeans that I could not wear before. But I sure will be if I weigh the same again on Saturday!
And I am so with you on the exercising in front of people thing. I just feel like folks are staring even if they are not. |

Rep Power: 35 | | | Tuesday Update Today was a good day.
Again not so hot on the water but good on the food. I think that I finally figured out what the deal is with all the water or lack there of.........The usual drink packs that I use were not at the store when I went last week. Someone took the last 3 boxes (Sweatpea!) and left me to use something that I am not use to. LOL
So since I was not to hot about the flavor I have not really been drinking them. But not anymore!
I went to the store today and got the ones that I like. So the game is back on.
Had to go and renew my Drivers License today.Oh Yippeeee Skipppy!!!!
I really really dislike the photos that they take. The one that I had on there before this new one was actually decent. This new one is disgusting. At least dh was kind enough to point out that by the time this one expires (2012) I won't even resemble that picture anymore!
Okay gotta go. Biggest Loser is about to come on and I don't want to miss it!
