Rep Power: 35 | | Well Thanksgiving has officially come and gone.
And I think over all I did very well. It sure did help that hubby is now doing the WW thing cuz' he was definately more aware of what he was serving up as well as how he prepared it.
Over all the "worst" thing that was at our table was the stuffing. Which dh cooked up in individual sized muffin portions. Made it so easy to know that all you needed to do was "grab" a stuffin and that was your serving.
Of course there was a special breakfast, which for us was pancakes. I didn't put any butter on mine and only slathered them with light cool whip not syrup so I don't think that was such a bad choice there either.
And there were a few dessert choices. But I didn't care to have any pie even thought there was pecan and pumpkin to choose from. I had 2 small slices of a pumpkin roll that I had purchased at the store instead.
Later on we took the kids to see a movie. Normal for us would have been to buy a huge bucket of popcorn even after eating all the feast. Not this time. No Popcorn, No Candy.
Dd did buy a box of Junior Mints and was very generous in sharing them with us. I only had 5 pieces. Not sure how many dh had but I know that it wasn't too many.
All and all the best moment of the day for me was seeing dh on the computer after the big feast "tracking" his WW points for the day.
I wish you all could understand what a Blessing it is for my family that he is finally taking control of his weight.
He has tried before in the past and usually loses 20-30 pounds then stops. But this time he has said that I am his inspiration and his motivation.
That makes me feel really good to know that not only have I had a positive impact on myself but on him as well.
Together we WILL conquer this issue!!!!
Today is a work day~ YUCK!
And to pick up extra hours I will be the only one cleaning at the end of the night. Meaning that for about 3 hours after everyone else leaves I will still be there sweeping. Yeah the place is that big!
So we are going to put our tree together this morning. And I suppose if we are to get it done then I need to get off of the computer.
I hope that everyone has a great day and a Fab~Tab~U~Lous weekend!

Sounds like you've had a great week and a great Thanksgiving.
I'm so glad that your dh is joining you in this endeavor. You two will be the best looking couple at church!
Yay on your weightloss too - and wtg on not over-eating. I didn't over-eat this time around either but it's cause I've been having tummy troubles...ugh! (will post about that in my own journal.)
See you Sunday! |

Kim | Yes I did!
198.4
I briefly saw 197.8 but then a friend at work gave me all the almonds that he brought because he didn't like them. GASP! Almonds are my favorite and I could show no restraint! Hence the reason I don't buy them!!! LOL
Let's just say it was a few handfuls! hahaha
Oh well. Still at 198 though. |

Rep Power: 43 | | | That's great news!! and if you BRIEFLY saw 197,that means you will be able to get there with no problems this week, since we know your not going to have any more of those almonds to sabotage you!! LOL I thought I would be down by 2.5 or 3 for sure this week, but only 1 I'm afraid, can you believe it?? It's taking me forever to lose weight, I'm just amazed. LOL Hope you had a great Sunday!!
HUGS!

Kim | Thanks for stopping by Kim!
Sure did miss you this past week.
I can't believe that the weight isn't just pouring off of you since you work out harder than anyone I know. Cyber or real-life.
I'm hoping I see that 197 again. Went to Sweatpea's yesterday for lunch and had leftover Turkey Day stuff. Needless to say I ate better at my Thanksgiving than I did at hers!!!! LOL LOL
But with some hard work and some of that determination of yours (hope you don't mind if I borrow it for a while ) I'll get there.
Hey did you see my pics that I posted last week? They showed my progress from this summer to now.
Anywho gotta go!

Rep Power: 35 | | I'm feeling pretty tired this morning.
Didn't roll in this morning until about 4:30 then had to get up at 7. So there wasn't much sleep going on last night.
Dh chose this morning to start nitpicking at me about the house and the laundry. Which I thought was a bit comical (read much sarcasm here) as he was home all for the Thanksgiving holiday same as me. If he wanted to get things done he could have jumped in anytime.
But "noooooo" this morning he had to make a huge blanket statement about how he will have to get this house all cleaned up.
I just told him since it would seem that he was going to be doing all the work, cleaning the house and all, that perhaps I would just go and take a nap.
Bad idea on his part to nitpick when I have had only 2.5 hours of sleep.
Weighed in at 199.8 this morning.
I am sure that it is due to all the festivities from the weekend. That and lately I have taken to drinking more coffee than water. Gotta get that trend switched back around.
I have my out-patient surgery this Wednesday. So if I am not around much it will be because of that. I am going to try and get my exercise in for the challenge ahead of time but who knows. Most likely I won't make the bonus this week.
Well I am just rambling on cuz' I am tired and I have waaaaay too many things that need to be done. So I am gonna go check a few diaries and get too Crack~a~lacken!

2.5 hrs of sleep!! I would be a grouch for the whole day and hubby knows better not even cross my path...
My hubby is always on my a$$ about the house, my shoes, my stuff on the counter... i think he is an undiagnosed obsessive-compulsive person. Man, I can't leave my slippers anywhere else but their "designated" place or he will flip out. He constantly organizes and re-organizes (mind you it's MY STUFF) so I can't find anything... which makes me quite mad. I have to remind him quite often that "I live here too". Anyway I agree with you: hubby has two hands also is quite capable of doing stuff that needs to be done...
I wish you luck with your surgery and make sure you are not overdoing it as far exercise goes, just take care of yourself.
You are still in the 100's, don't fret the scale..
Have a great day!!

I am so glad that there is someone else out there who understands.
Hubby never used to be this way. It has only been since he became a minister. He can't stand the thought that someone may drop in at any moment and *GASP* the house may not be up to snuff.
I say they don't come to see the house.
They know we have 3 kids.
They know that we both work full-time.
And most importantly......
they're house looks exactly like ours unless "they know" someone is coming over. Just like the rest of the world.
Thanks for the well wishes. I don't think that I will have too bad a time with the recovery. They said that it could take anywhere from 6-24 hours to be feeling better. Of course I am hoping for 6!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

I have been really looking forward to the teams being picked for days.
