Just wanted to stop by and let you know that Bellaryna isn't ignoring anyone and she didn't disappear. She is having computer issues with this forum not loading right on her computer. I tried to help her out today, but I couldn't figure it out either.
She can get into the forum fine, but can not post to any of the threads (even when signed in.) She can't even see all of the posts in these threads. It won't load the page.
Any ideas for what to do for this?
I'm going to email the forum hosts see what they have to say.
She will be back to posting as soon as she can!!! |

Rep Power: 35 | | | I'm still here!!! Man I am so NOT computer savy!!! And dh is outta town so when I couldn't get the forum to work I just automatically thought something had to be wrong with my 'puter.
Just a quick update on where things stand with me.
Weighed myself on Saturday and came in at an astounding 218.8!!!
Since joining the forum I have now lost 11.2#'s!!!!
I find it amazing that I have lost that amount in just less than a month.
Went to work yesterday with treats for all my co-workers in hand.
I went and bought a 2 1/2 pound bag of mini-candy bars. And even though I had those things right in front of me I DIDN'T eat not even one!!!!!! I didn't even want to. Probably helped that I had figured out how many cals was in just one of those mini-bars. 42!!!! Yikes. Back in the day I would of had my fair share of the bag. But not nowadays.
Also today was Donut Sunday at church. First Sunday of the month we have a donut/coffee thing between sunday school and services. Krispy Creme donuts. I didn't even have to look up the cals. I DIDN'T have one!!!!!
Had a friend at work offer me a piece of Dove chocolate. I accepted because I didn't want to hurt her feelings but I promptly turned around and gave it away to someone else.
I feel like SuperGirl. Able to resist donuts in single morning!
You know I didn't even want one of those donuts.
Well got outta work early and have been sitting here since I got home trying to figure out how to make the computer work.
So I am really tired. I have to keep re-typing words so I am going to go and hit the hay.
Hope everyone's weekend was fabtabulous!!!! |

My MIL came in today for a 3 week visit. So I had to super clean the house before she arrived at 5pm. Here's how the day went.........
Got up at 6:30 and got the kids around for school. Was hoping to get some morning elliptical in but didn't. Had to grocery shop instead. YUCK!!!!
Didn't even remember to eat breakfast I was in such a hurry!
Of course got to the store with my youngest in tow and began the "Can I's". Can I have this? Can I have that? Can I get outta the cart? Can I get a drink?
You getting the picture yet? LOL
Took nearly 2 hours to get the shopping done. I have become so picky about what I will buy. Not just for myself but also for my kids and family that I am reading EVERY label. And of course it takes plenty of time to answer all those "Can I" questions!
Of course I have to get all the stuff home and put away. In the process I decide to clean out the fridge a bit. Again MIL is coming for a visit. Must look like I clean house everyday!!! hahaha
That took another hour. Sigh.
From there I worked my way down to my ds's room as that is where MIL will be sleeping for the duration of the visit.
Man is he ever pig! And he's only 4 1/2! Got the room all cleaned and rearranged that took about 2-2 1/2 hours. Send him in for a nap.
Start working on the rest of the house.
Kitchen sink starts to back up which effectively puts an end to doing the dishes. That sucked. At least 98% of the dishes were done.
Start folding all those baskets of laundry. Just when I thought it couldn't worse on the laundry front my friend from Canada brought me 2 MORE overflowing baskets of laundry that her kids had outgrown. Good stuff.........but where am I going to put it all. I actually ran out of hangers!!!!!!
Dh calls to say that he will be on his way home for me to wait on getting the kids. I wait.
I pick up kids, Dh takes off for the big city to get his mom and I start supper. I didn't sit down not even once today. Unless you count while driving in the car or sitting at the dinner table.
I also sucked at drinking my water. Usually I am all over the top of that but was just too busy and forgot.
MIL is here now so at least the crazy pace of cleaning is over.
Real life will soon set in.
Didn't do traditional excerise today but I was sweating a ton while cleaning and rearranging. That's gotta count for something!!
Oh I did eventually catch up on the eating front. Had the rest of the left-over stew from Sunday and then had dinner. Not sure what the cals were for the day but since dinner was 373 per serving and that is all I had of that plus a salad then I probably came in low for the day.
At least I don't feel hungry.
Until next time! |

I forgot to say that I was down another pound today!!
Down to 217.6!!!! I am almost at the 15 pound mark.
I am still can't figure how I am doing this since I seem to miss excerise for the whole weekend due to my job.
The one thing I did discuss with my best peep, sweatpea, is that maybe my body is trying soooo hard to keep me warm while I am in the freezer all weekend that it is actually using more cals than normal.
Who knows?
Anywho that's all for me.
Gotta go check out some other diaries! |

Rep Power: 26 | | Hey there Bell!
WTG!
You are probably losing still w/o exercise not only due to the freezer, but also due to eating less than you used to. Which is all part of the losing weight game.
BTW, you know how to answer the Can I's? You say, "You Got?" Like You Got money for that? It works for me. Oh and NO! LOL But I'm sure you say that enough. Poor kids, I feel for them I really do...I hate grocery shopping too!
The grocery shopping will get easier, eventually you will just know what to buy and what to stay away from. I'm so proud of you! Your family will be healthier too w/o even realizing it!
My kids hate school lunches - because they don't "taste good" and don't have "good stuff" to eat. They are even thinking of packing their own lunch once in awhile just because they feel like the school lunches aren't nutritious enough for them!
I'm sure you burned enough cals cleaning that house of yours! I know when ever I clean like a mad woman, I'm sweating up a storm. Ugh!
Well see you around...Enjoy the MIL... |

Mil isn't so bad. At least at first. My biggest problem w/her is that she does not want us to reprimand the kids at ALL! If we get on them for something she acts like we are abusing them. She's a very nervous person by trait. And of course the kids sense this, so milk it for all it's worth. Hence my "rubbing the wrong way" comes from dealing with all that. |

PS, I did use the AB roller last night, Oh my word! | Ah Kim you are one of my biggest cheerleaders!!!
Believe it or not, not to long ago I actually made it down to onederland. I got to 196 and was like ok I'm not in the 200's anymore and then quit paying attention to food and excercise.
But not this time baby!!!!!!
I am so determined. I think my hubby thinks that I am developing a disorder or something. LOL Just because I won't eat the high calorie stuff. He thinks I'm not eating enough! Read today's entry and you'll understand.
I used the ab roller this morning and put a bid in on ebay for the one that I really want.
Thanks for the encouragement!! |

So far so good on the MIL. We went to the Fort today and stopped at Sams Club. She loves that place. But oddly enough didn't buy much. Wasn't sure if she ws expecting me to do the buying or what?

Rep Power: 43 | | Oh do I know so well about having a hubby who will ask "why are you not eating anymore"?? when what he really means is "why are you not eating like me anymore"??? HAHAHAHA DUH?? Maybe because my butt is twice as wide as yours, hello??? Men, sometimes I wonder about them. My hubby can burn through a pound of chocolate chip cookie dough in a week and never gain a pound. He burns every single bit of crud he puts in his mouth it's just amazing to me, and it also drives me nuts!! It wasn't until I had my twins did my metabolism go down the tubes. UGGG!! Oh well, enough crabbiness from me, at least we are able to workout and keep going, so no complaints anymore from me. And WOW you were in the 190's before, ***Whistles*** Hopefully you still kept those clothes, as I'm sure your going to be needing them again real soon. Have a good rest of your day!

Rep Power: 35 | | Today was a good day. Weighed myself this morning and was right at 218. Must have been the limited water intake yesterday. I did try to slug back 32 more ounces before bed but was unable to hit all my goal for the day.
Not so today. I have already had like 70ozs of my 109oz goal for the day.
Haven't had a chance to exercise yet but plan a nice hike later today. And once I get my new fan together I will be ellipticalling like the best of them.
Took MIL to sams club today and to visit a friend of mine who owns a consignment store. She was loving the consignment store.
After Sams Club we stopped and had lunch.
I ordered what I thought was a Portabella Burger. Turns out it really was a 1/4# patty with these delish whole 'shrooms on top. Had them put the mayo and cheese on the side. Didn't eat the patty but did fill up on the 'shrooms, lettuce, tomatoes and a bit of the bun where it had been grilled. Also had ordered a croisant (sp?) not realizing that when they bring it to the table it is swimming in butter. I mean they actually had it poured all over the top!
I asked the waitress if I could please have one that didn't have butter all over it and she promptly brought one.
Afterwards for the worlds best treat I took MIL to the best chocolate place in the world. If you don't believe me just ask sweatpea. There I treated myself, MIL and ds each to a truffle.
Headed home where I nearly peed my pants trying to get my dd from school. Since then basically have been sitting here catching up on everyone. Planning on having spaghetti for supper. Found some noodles that are less cals than the last brand so am looking forward to that.
Well gotta go MIL just got up from her nap and all h*** is breaking out with the kids.
