See I told you so... weighing every day is de-motivating...sometimes. It was for me at the begining, now it just a routine and I don't read so much into it.
I do have the withdrawal symptoms though, geesh two days w/o looking at my scale... makes me wonder : am I up or down...LOL
You have a great motivation vibe going on here... I am sensing lbs lost....
Hajni
I'm so in withdrawal too! Today when I cleaned the bathroom, I had to move the scale - it was so tempting to just jump on! But I gave it a nice swipe and then put it back in it's place. Telling myself of course that when I finally get to jump on on Sat. the victory of beating this challenge will be so sweet!

You are doing so GREAT!!!!
I too am feeling the pull to the scale. I had to hide it the other day by throwing my clothes on top of it!!! LOL You know outta sight~outta mind!
Oddly enough I am feeling a pull to actually work-out!!! GASP!!
Guess since I can't "see" the progress by the numbers everyday I am determined to NOT be up on Saturday.
Keep up all your hard work!!!

Well today I went with Bell to the flea market. We had a good time - we went with her MIL and a group of ladies from the church. I don't think we hit more than 3 aisles in 3 hours though!

I didn't get any official exercise in today so tomorrow I'm going to give it all I've got! Especially since I'm taking Bell out for her bday. And we want to be a little bad.

I went over my cal goal for today about 1600 instead of 1360 (it was supposed to be my low day.) So I'm a little bummed by that.

But, my capris fit better today and I didn't have the waist band engraved into my tummy. So that's motivating even if my scale isn't! Of course I wouldn't know - maybe I've dropped 5 lbs (please God!) and wouldn't know it!

I so can't wait until Sat. I think I might stay up til midnight Friday.

HI SweatPea,
1600 is still better than 2000.
Just give a little extra on the exercise tomorrow.
Hope you both will have a wonderful day.
Hajni

Ooooh I hadn't thought about that!!! The staying up til midnight thing. I will already be up working when the pumpkin hour rolls around and we have a scale at work. Sorta like the Biggest Loser Scale. I could finally put this agony of mine to rest by jumping on it. Even with all my gear I would still have a pretty good idea of if I gained or lost.
Now I got something to look forward to at work!! Yeehaa!!!

Thanks Hajni! You are a weight-loss gal's best supporter! I've got to give it all I've got, or else I won't be eating tonight.

Well walking at a snails pace won't do too much except for make your feet tired later in the day. But you're right at least I wasn't sitting here all day doing nothing!

LOL Well I'm glad I helped you out with the scale madness!

Do you know how much your gear weighs? Of course you probably already know what the difference is with all your gear on between being nekkid at home and fully clothed at work.

I am done with today's workout. I got in 20 min. on the elliptical - did the cross-trainer workout. Then, did 30 min. on the treadmill with a heart rate workout for "fat burner" (ha!)

Now to behave tonight when I take Bell out for her bday dinner!

donst it feel good to get teh exercise out of the way earlier in the day?

Enjoy your dinner- if you know you will want dessert, try ordering an appetizer as a main course with a salad. Also, if you eat a little something before hand, it may help curb the hunger. have a great time!

I'm reposting this cause it was so much fun posting it the first time! Oh and I forgot the artsy fartsy place I took Bell too - well not forgot just forgot to mention it on the Casper thread. It was so much fun making fun of what some consider "art". I will post some pics as soon as I get them uploaded and cropped.

Here's my post from the Casper thread:

Hey all just a quick check-in this morning. Bell and I did ok, but not great, but it was all good and fun!

She's a party girl - JK - but if she were (and I were) we'd be quite the pair! We hooped it up at the restaurant - got carded over diet coke and ice tea. Then, we took it over to Kohls she got her some new tennies - and wore them out of the store, the lady at the register didn't know what to do with her. She was checking her old boots for the correct sizes inside the box - even though we explained to her that she was wearing the tennies! She threw her leg up on the counter to show her!

Then we made a mad dash to the Barnes and Noble store - and tore around in there like it was nobody's business - reading diet books of all things! Of course while picking up the calorie counting books we should've been looking at the cals of those frappuccinos we decided to have (good thing we picked lite!) Then, we got this real fun book - well I got it - but you know she will be using it all the time when she gets her hands on it. It's a TV Alter Ego book - and it's quite fun!

So then we closed out the Bed, Bath, and Beyond store - we were like the only customers in there when they announced the "take your time and shop, but the store is now closed" message. So we fooled around for a few more min. 'til we got to the register so she could buy a bday card! LOL
The funny thing was when we went in to the store it was 10 min. till 9 and the cashier wouldn't look at us when we came in. Kind of like the dog who if they don't see you, you don't see them look. LOL

I my Bell, she's a hoot!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Oh and I'm going to take my dog for a long walk today because Bell's oldest son is coming over to job shadow with my dh - and I don't want to be exercising in front of him since my dh works from home somedays....

Have a good one!
