I have been there. Keeping my goal in mind and knowing that the weight loss part is not forever (maint. is another thing) helps me keep my focus. It has an end to it. You have come a long way, I am sure you know all that. If you really-really want to lose the weight SweatPea, it will happen!!!
When I felt like giving up, that is when I kicked it up a notch. Started meticulosly (sp?) counting my calories and exercising like a banshee. And gave myself like 3-4 weeks. If nothing were to happen during that time I was going to give it up. Then the lbs started falling off and here I am !!!
Please don't give up, some days are harder than others.
And don't fret the weight gain, a lot of it is water, when I don't watch what I eat i gain like 3 lbs water weight. And just like Yarmiah said 1.5 lbs gain is not much for a vacation. I gained 9!!!!!
Heads up my fellow team member!! Better times are coming!!

Thanks Hajni, I knew I could count on you for a pep talk.
I did step on the scale this morning and am back down to where I was before I left. 168.5. So all is good there.
I do work out really hard (when I work out.) I guess I'm not so tight on my calories sometimes - so maybe that is it? I don't know. I will give it 4 wks of just kicking it - then we will see, right?

Just got done with an awesome elliptical workout - did 28 min. on it and got in 2.36 miles (with over 3000 revs.) I was working that thing.
Then did a 40 min. fast walk on the treadmill - getting in another 2 miles.
Going to go take a shower and get this house tidied up.
You go Girl!~
Man you sure can kick it in gear! I don't have that kinda resolve when it comes to exercising.
Maybe I can borrow some from you p
Have a great rest of the day!

Had to get in my exercise early this morning as we have window installers here (again.) That means more staining to come - and I will have to do it quickly this time around since the weather is changing (no procrastination.)
I got on the elliptical for 35 min. (5 min. cool down) and got in 2.78 miles and over 5000 revs.
I was going to do some weights, but that will have to wait until tomorrow because I didn't have enough time (so that I could get in the shower before the workers showed up.)
They are here now and will probably be here for the next couple of hours - depending on how much rain we will be getting (guess it might take longer if it rains too much.)
And then later, I have to pick up a gentleman from dialysis (he goes to our church), so I knew I wouldn't have time to get in a workout later.
Staying on plan with water and food too.

Way to go on your exercise early in the morning!!
The pita recipe is in the RECIPES thread. I made my mods to it and it came to like 80 calories for the whole thing. It is awesome!!!

Have a great day watching the window guys and your absolutely the sweetest for helping Bud with his dialysis. I wanted to but with everyone in our house being sick this week didn't think it was such a good idea. Hopefully we can get in on the next rotation.

Hey Miss Ladybug,
I left my ticker in the casper weigh-down challenge, cause my sig was too much for it. Anyway, I will put it back after this challenge - or when I get tired of that quote.
I haven't lost as much since being here at WLF - but at one time I did weigh 210. My weight is right now at 168.5 - it's a slow progress for me. I must be doing everything wrong - since I started my weight loss journey about 7 or 8 yrs ago. :sigh:

An apple pita recipe that Hajni mentioned - guess it's in the recipe threads. I think it's the apple breakfast thread.
We actually have like 4 more windows before we are finished. This will probably be the last one for at least 3 or 4 months (I'm praying so anyway!)

Thanks! I don't mind when I get it done - but I had to get it done early today or likely it wasn't going to get done.
