Just finished at 41:53 min. workout on the elliptical. Why it didn't give me the extra 7 seconds to go, I'll never know. But oh well, I know I'll get in more this morning as I'm going to go pick tomatoes and have more housework to do (always!)
So it says I did over 3 miles, burned almost 400 cals., and got in almost 5300 strides! Woohoo!

I'm going to do some abs here in a little bit and then go pick tomatoes.

That is just INSANE!!! What kinda female are you? Just kidding. I don't think this ever happens at my place, but its impressive!

Keep up the great work.

I love sparkpeople & being able to track everything I'm eating all day. Helps me know when to say.. ok stop it now before you get way over the cals & on a really rare occasion when its ok to snack on some 100 cal something or other.

LOL Moon! I know, what was I thinking not stocking my cupboards full of chocolate, and I so need it this week (I'm sure!) But on the other hand I did have some special K bars drizzled with a tiny minute bit of chocolate - that does satisfy you when you haven't had any in awhile.

Hajni - Thanks for the support!

Bell - You know I lubs ya! I was drinking all that water for you!

I got on the scale and was down a lb from yesterday - so that's good. I'm at 168.5 - my mini goal is to be 165. I know I can do it!!!!

This morning I did another episode of power yoga. Whew! I'm telling you all that stuff is to die for - literally - sometimes I think I'm going to die doing it! LOL

I've only drank 1 glass (16 oz) of water so far, but my mouth is watering for more.
Plus I just ate some salty queso dip that dh brought home from Don Pablo's and I know I'm going to have to flush it right out of my system or tomorrow, I won't be so happy when I weigh-in.

So far today I've had:

Turkey sandwich on ww bread (lite), with smart balance mayo, turkey bacon, 1/2 of a fresh tomato, and lettuce.
Tortilla chips and queso dip (hubbies leftovers from his dinner out.)

oh have you tried the Fiber One bars? The oat & chocolate one satisfies my cravings sometimes. Plus I feel better knowing I get some fiber in with my chocolate.

Good job on the pound lost & doing the power yoga! Very cool.

I haven't tried them yet, but will look for them. I just can't digest anything with sugar alcohols as they really give my tummy a workout - blech!

Ok so breakfast and lunch is listed above.

So the rest of the day was:

Dinner:
Ground chuck burger w/ cheese, baby spinach, tomato slices, pickles, smart balance mayo.
Mushroom pilaf rice (schwan's)
asparagus spears

So meal totals = 1446 (sparkpeople)

5 16 oz glasses of water = 80 oz.

Got in about 42 min. of power yoga.

Hi, SP.

First of all, I'm sorry upi didn't get the name you wanted, but even if you had typed it correctly, you couldn't have had it. (I tried it months ago and it was already taken)

Anyhow, congrats on almost hitting your mini goal. I wish I could lose weight as "easily" as you. Are you doing all your exercising at home, or do you go to a gym?

I realized that after I had typed it in wrong and it took immediately. LOL

I work out at home. I don't lose weight easily - in fact it will probably be a slow road from here on out. Those first pounds were a little of a "cheat" since I decided to get serious after a vacation.

Thanks for stopping by and saying HI!

HI,
I am just like you. I don't lose weight easily. My average before I joined here was 0.6 lb/week loss, very annoying. I am not sure why.
The real results I am seeing is from the twice a day exercise. My trainer in the gym said, vegetarians has a harder time losing weight than carnivores. Why, i have no idea. i don't know if this is true either.
You are doing great, you have good discipline with working out at home. Before I joined the gym last Sept. i was trying the home work-outs too, although I had no equipment. I did miserably. Now after months and months in the gym i have the discipline to push myself at home too...
Are you adjusting your ticker every day or once a week? i weigh myself every day, but only "officially record" it once a week.
Hope you are having a good day.
what will you do for exercise today?
Hajni

Hey Hajni, I was adjusting it everyday, but I probably should just do it once a week, but it has been bouncing back and forth - and you know what I just totally forgot to weigh myself this morning!

I am very disciplined here at home with working out. It was just that I lacked the motivation for over a year and dropped exercising down to almost zero. It wasn't my top priority. This past year has been my year for refocusing.

Well, I did a good thing and a bad thing today. I went over to my peep's (Bell) and we walked on a nature trail for a good 60 min. from start to finish. But then, I was on my way home (and even though she offered to make me lunch - a good healthy lunch too) I went and stopped at Wendy's. I got a combo meal with spicey chicken sandwich. It is my very fav thing from Wendy's.

I feel a little guilty, so I'm going to go get on the elliptical and use my total trainer before I hit the shower.

OK, guilt over...

I just finished 15 min. on my total trainer (biceps, triceps, abs, calves.)

Then, did 33 min. on the elliptical (includes 5 min. cool down.) said I went 2.42 mi., with over 3000 cycles, and almost burned 400 cals.

Now off to take that shower...
