The restaurant at your son's class is such a fun idea. Definitely worth the calories I'm sure! What grade is your son in?
Hey Lemon! Thank you. I wouldn't be exercising that much if it weren't for the challenge. Of course it is helping.

My youngest son is in the 5th grade. He's at a private school that's mixed 4th-6th grade.

Well this weekend wasn't too productive. I had a bad day yesterday and was feeling down. I didn't eat - until about 6 pm (except for breakfast) so my cals were really low. No exercise either.

But I know I need to get in my exercise for the challenge. So this morning I came right out and started the capoiera videos - did the 4 that were required 2 times just so I knew I was doing it correctly as well as I could. I can tell they definitely need balance in order to use those moves for self-defense.

Then, I just completed the self-challenge toning segment which I did 3xs what they wanted (or until fatigue.) So I got double the workout this morning. And plan on getting on the elliptical this evening after our basketball banquet. I'm saving it for then because I need to go get ready for church now, then I will be off to grocery shop , and then to the banquet later.

Ciao!

Exercise so far for the 2nd leg of the challenge: 10 min (Fri), 40 min. (Sun.)

This challenge is awesome... and it definitely keeps me going because other people depend on me. But I guess it doesn't matter what gets you closer to your goal as long as you arrive!

Hope it's a good Monday!

Hey BG! You're absolutely right. Without the challenge I wouldn't be exercising this much.

I just completed 30 min. "circuit training" video. And am going downstairs in about 15 min. to workout on the treadmill (dh's down there now and I don't want to watch star trek.)

This challenge thing is awesome...definitely keeping you super motivated. The big pay-off with definitely be in your body...not only in the challenge itself!

Thanks Luscious. It sure is helping.

Just got finished with the treadmill - got in 40 min. It was a moderate pace as I had already worked hard during the video. So I got in 1.74 miles and burned 178 cals.

Exercise so far for the 2nd leg of the challenge: 10 min (Fri), 90 min. (Sun.), 70 min. (Mon.)

Hey SP!

Wow you have made some progress . . and look at your exercising! Great job!

Thanks for stopping by my thread- I really want to get back in gear. I hate how I feel, and am starting to "hate" what I see in the mirror. (I've gained back almost 10 since my lowest weigh in!). Seeing how you have progressed is inspiring me to push thru my own challenges.

Kudos!

Oh boy, hope it wasn't you. Today at lunch we had one boy at the table. And guess who he was sitting by? Yep, me. It mostly landed in his plate and another girl's across from him. Mine looked unscathed. But there was no way in HEdoubletoothpicks that I was going to finish my lunch. And it was a good one. Last night I made a healthy version of rice pilaf w/ zucchini, bell peppers, and shrooms. I was so bummed. But you never know what could've landed without seeing it.

Well I had a bad episode and gained back weight. That's where I'm trying to get back to. So I so understand where you are. At least you've only got 10 lbs to get back to where you were.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Jen,

Well I was out of the loop for a few months so I know just what you mean. I got back on a month or two ago? Anyway, I kept checking the challenge page almost every week to see if a new one was starting.
