Rep Power: 26 | | Ok so the "no snack thing" last night didn't work, I ended up eating 1/4 of a bag of microwave popcorn the kids didn't finish. :sigh:
So, my weight was up a pound this morning - I'm thinking it's salt. So, I'm going to flush it out today.
Dh and I are going to the movies, so that means popcorn - I know so super bad. But we have been cutting back from the mega tub to just a medium between us. I know more salt, so I'm going to have to drink a lot today. We will eat lite the rest of the day (no restaurant food, just food at home.) Then grocery shopping - what a difference dates are after you've been married for 15 yrs, huh? LOL
I will also go get on the treadmill this morning (when dh is done.) It's the least of my favorite workouts, but the kids are up and playing video games already and I don't like bouncing around in front of them for a dvd work out (plus they have a friend over, and I'm sure that would embarrass them all! )
I like to change things around so that I don't get bored with my workouts. I will probably take my ipod down and just listen to it instead of watching tv. It helped me the other day to have a better workout and I really need the motivation while on the treadmill. |

Agree about listening to music instead of watching TV. When I bought the treadmill, I thought I can now watch all my shows and DVD's I have not seen. I lasted about twice. It slowed me down and I was not pushing myself hard enough. When I listen to music, I tend to run with the speed of the music so I only put very upbeat and fast music on my mp3 player.
Plain popcorns are not bad for you at all, hardly any calories and filling. I don't like the fact that it is so hard to find popcorn that is not swimming in butter.. I don't like butter on my popcorn..LOL
Come to think of it DH and I have not been to the movies since our daughter was born. 2 years and counting.. hmmm
About every day weigh in.. I am guilty of it too. It is crazy how it changes from one day to another. My scale shows 162.6 for 3 days straigth, then overnight I would lose a lb.. and hold it there for the next 3-4 days.. Crazy.
Hope you are having a great weekend, you are right on track !!

Rep Power: 26 | | Hey Hajni, Well it definitely was buttered, swimming in butter!
I did try to limit myself though. Don't know exactly how many cals I ate, but I'm sure it's more than overkill.
Today's menu:
ww pancake w/ blueberries and sf syrup
cottage cheese w/ peaches
movie theater popcorn
egg salad sandwich
broccoli slaw
water: 60 ounces so far |

Rep Power: 35 | | | Hey was the movie good?
I think that you are doing great! I probably wouldn't have even worked out had it been my house with strange kids over. (Since we don't have a basement that I can hide in.) So Way to GO! on not letting that situation stop you.
Have a great Day!!
Keep the Pace!!

I did step on the scale and of course was up, but it's only temporary.
Today's meals:

bologna sandwich on ww bread w/ mustard
baby carrots
I missed breakfast and then forgot I didn't eat it.. sigh... |

Hope you had a great weekend!! Keep up the good work.
Today was hard for me to get on the treadmill but I did it, only going 2.5 miles I think.
See you at the halloween challange. With luck, we might be even in the same team.

Don't worry about forgetting breakfast. With the way my weekends go I rarely eat breakfast they way your suppose to.
I think that your doing great. If nothing else you are being more mindful of what you are eating and how much and that my friend is half the battle!
Keep the Pace

Bellaryna | It's still out there and playing - go see it this week lady!
Ok today so far has been a no exercise day - none not even painting. But, maybe after supper I'll take the dog for a walk. It will be better than nothing.
Last night I woke up around 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep until just about the time the kids were getting up for school. Thank goodness they are older and independent - I don't have to do too much. But I still like saying, bye and "have a good day!" Today I only got up to see the 5th grader off, I couldn't manage to even open my mouth to tell the older one to have a good day. :sigh:
I've had a headache all day and I know it's from lack of sleep.
I did manage to go put in an app. at Barnes and Nobles. They are expanding one of their stores and are looking to fill lots of positions. So, I put in for a management position. They had this "job fair" at a local college and I think the people doing the interviews were just filtering for 2nd interviews. The guy that interviewed me really liked me and my personality (who wouldn't?) LOL But, he did most of the talking, so I don't know where he got his opinion from????
Fine by me, it got a sticky note on it for a 2nd interview - so woohoo!
The only problem with this job would be the drive. And the winter roads....ugh!
Food wise today has been good so far. I'm thinking I should eat some more or something. I'm not gaining, not losing either - well after the theater popcorn, I'm just holding steady. And then AF came along - just what I love!
Here's my menu for the day:
Breakfast: special K bar and banana
Lunch: Turkey burger w/ mayo, tomato, ww bread, cheese
Snack: chocolate covered raisins - I measured them out for 1 serving - dark chocolate too, so should be good right? LOL
Dinner: Haven't ate yet, but am planning on salsa and chips with some chicken maybe? |

Rep Power: 20 | | | Congrats on you interview!! How far would you have to commute? I used to drive 1 hr 15 min one way to work. It was a pure nightmare. I loved the job and the people I worked with but eventually, after 3 years of commute I just had to leave... couldn't take it anymore. There were days in the winter time when the drive ended up being 3.5 hrs home!!! Used to get up at 4.45 to get to work ...
Can you maybe take a nap during the daytime.. I know I can't function properly if I didn't sleep enough, I am like a zombie.
Even with losing weekly, my weight sometimes does not change for 3-4 days in a row, and all of a sudden 1 lbs is gone overnight.. so don't worry about your food, just stay on track, you will see it coming off.
Have a good night, much better than last night was!!!

Hajni | Supper didn't turn out as I had planned. I was sitting her on the phone with Bell, and my family decided to get out the lunch meat. LOL
So I ate two pieces of olive loaf (yeah probably not the healthiest), one slice of cheese, and about 5 chips. I wasn't feeling too well or I'd probably have eaten more.
Then, later on I had strawberries w/ a little granola cereal and vanilla yogurt and a handful of pistachios.
No exercise - not even a walk with the dog. But I did do some cleaning. Tomorrow will be lots of walking. Dh and I decided to go to an amusement park. He has vacation this week, so we are spending it together. |
