I really should be working on my stuff, but I think my brain is fried, because I keep putting it off this evening.
I have no idea what I weigh. I have been eating so-so. I think that it's not too bad, but some days are worse than others, I'm sure. Then some days I actually only eat maybe twice - due to the workload - I just don't have the time with fiddling to get something to eat.
Weird, I know.
Anyway, I have exercised a few times downstairs on the treadmill and elliptical since the last time I posted. I've also taken another walk outside - before the big heat wave hit. And last week I swam about 6 laps - down and back (an olympic sized pool.) So that was good. Plus Sat. some of the girls and I went to downtown St. Louis and walked about 5 miles both ways. We had asked our waitress how far our destination was and she said about 15 blocks, but it was like mega blocks! So it would've been better to drive - because 2 of us had flip-flops on.
Ok well I'm getting back to work...although I don't really want to.

I did gain weight while gone, which might have been done more in the last 2 weeks than any other time because I was trying to get rid of stuff without having to waste anything, so I know I ate more than I should.
Oh well today is a new day and it is so good to be home! It's a very beautiful day too. I have a lot of things to catch up on and want to go outside too!
So, I'm not going to be staying online too much, might do a drive by of a thread or two and see if there are any new challenges starting to get me back into the swing of things.

YEAH!!!!! Your home! Your Home! Your Home!
I know you got priorities for family and all (school) but let me know when we can get together!
I missed you terribly.
So happy your home!

It is good to be home, but as I look around I keep noticing things that need to be done. Where's a maid when you need it? LOL I liked the fact of not having to clean everyday - and someone else did it for me. On most days it was even a man who did the housekeeping.
So yesterday dh and I took a long walk about 3 miles there and back.
I know my scale only says a few pounds up, but I feel like I gained about 10 or so - just from not working out as much and not being as toned.
But the good news is is that my scale showed 1 lb less this morning.

Well the last week has been very tiresome and stressful for me.
I started interning at the Montessori school. They stepped it up on me since I have in 1/2 of my training. And now I feel like they expect so much more than I can deliver.
Dh says that it is me setting myself up to higher expectations. But I don't know, they have high expectations at this school.
As far as exercising, dh and I have been doing evening walks almost every night and when we go we get out for a 3 to 4 mile walk at a pretty fast pace. Let's just say dh is 6'1" and I'm 5'3" so my pace is much faster than his to keep up. LOL I feel like I'm not pushing myself like I should as far as the exercise goes though because I can do so much better, but I just feel so blah most of the days. The other day I did one of my old videos and thought I was going to die after the 30 min. were over (even at the 10 min. mark I wanted to quit!)
I think I missed 2 days this past week of walking - and I didn't do anything tonight. No real excuse except that I have been so very exhausted lately. That could be because I'm getting up at 5:15 am every week day morning to be to work by 7 am. I did get to sleep in this morning, but that's just one day for me. Tomorrow I will go to early service for church - which I can still sleep in, but not as long as I like.
Then my family is coming over tomorrow after church. I have two brothers in this area and their families are very active (exhaustingly me mentally - not so much physically active. LOL) I know it's bad, but the last time I had them over was in April. I always hope they will actually only stay for 2 hrs max. but then they end up being here for about 5 or 6.
At least their kids are older now and not into breaking my kid's stuff much anymore. My kids got to the point they wouldn't even let the kids in their rooms for fear that their stuff would get mishandled. LOL
I have started a new thread in the club challenges - for 100 push-ups. I found this via another forum, and thought that it would be a good motivator for me to start a challenge of my own.
Come join me if you feel like it!

Enjoy the family coming over. I think I know what ya mean - Ya love em, but the kids can stress ya out with the noise and running around like crazy.
100 pushups? Wow! I don't think I'm quite ready for that one. I struggle with 10 as I'm so top heavy, but I am working on shrinking that part of my body and doing pushups 1-2 times a week as part of exercise. Who knows, maybe one day that can be a realistic goal for me too!

So with all the walking with dh and him keeping tabs on me in the evening (i.e. - giving me the ahem look when I'm going to go for that treat) it looks like I'm down a pound this morning.
I am right now at 163.5 - haven't changed my ticker yet though because the link to it is on my other computer.
We didn't get in our 4 mile walk Thurs. because by the time dh got home it was raining. However, he decided to get on the treadmill and since I was dressed for walking, I went ahead and got on the elliptical.
I need to start timing our walks so that we can start setting goals to get it completed in shorter times. Of course with the winter on the horizon, we probably won't get as many in. At least I'm not looking forward to that. But it's been a nice time taking walks and talking about our day during this time alone (except the dog - he sometimes wants to stop to take care of business!)
I'm starting my push-up challenge as of today. So if anyone wants to join me, come on over!

So good to see you and hubby working out together. And congrats on not packing on a ton of pounds while away from home this summer. I knew you were worried about that. Miss you!

Good idea on the 100 pushup challenge. I could use that one my self! Might join you, especially with this boot camp thing (I'm sure pushups will be a part of it). Did you start up a thread on this forum? It would be a great idea.

Yeah, the thread is over in the challenges - I would've linked it to my sig, but they are so limited on the number of characters you can have in your sig line.
