The last time I updated this thing I was really upset with myself and the scale.
However, after over a week, I've gotten my weight back down. I'm pretty sure it is all the walking that dh and I have done. I just dread the cold days that are creeping up. I guess I'm going to have to stick to it for as long as I can.
I stepped on the scale this morning and am down to 160.5! I even felt brave enough to get back on the fit and it too showed me down. I'm pretty happy.
Except that this week I only walked 2 times with dh and got on the Wii once. That's it for exercise. I will have to step it up this weekend I'm sure.
We are having a fall festival tomorrow at our school, and I'm sure there will be a few can't pass up goodies. Of course, I have to pay for them, so maybe I can.

Nice work! Just keep it up--you can brainstorm a great cardio plan for indoors, I know you can!
There are a few badasses on here who have gymless, challenging workouts. I don't know what kind of time you have for exercise, but if you TRULY want results, you need to kick your own ass C'mon, it'll be fun! It's addicting..............

Oh definitely. I have a treadmill and an elliptical, plus a handful of vids, and the wii fit. I'll do fine, just need to do it!

An exciting morning stepping on the scale. I jumped on with my jammies and was up 1.5 lbs. So took the jammies off and then stepped on it said I was 158!
So then, I did it again, and the same number came up.
But, I was thinking that couldn't be and if that was true - that would mean I was down 2.5 lbs since yesterday. Well I came out and talked to dh about it, then decided to go back in and check again. And the scale was at 161 (sans jammies.)
That sounds about right. I mean I've "heard" of other people doing that, but never me. And, I was beginning to think that if the 158 was true, then there must be something wrong with me! LOL
I'm fine with the 161 though, because my MIL and I went to Ft. Wayne last night and she treated me and my son to dinner. We went to steak and shake. I wanted something warm, so didn't choose a salad as my main meal. I picked the chili mac (though it's made with spaghetti.) And the cals on that were higher than I thought even though it was a small platter. I also had a small side salad with it.
All-in-all not a bad day:
B: 1 egg, 4 pieces of turkey bacon, 1 slice of thin bread.
L: wheat pita (only 90 cals for the whole pita) w/ turkey pastrami, lettuce, and a little mayo - a plum - and a yogurt.
D: the chili mac and a side salad
Going to take a long walk with dh tonight and get on the fit if I have time.
I need to get around since we are having a fall festival at school today. If I can talk dh into it, I Might go to the Apple Festival too.

Well tonight I actually got my oldest ds to take a walk with me. We walked around the inlaws "farm" - which is a whole field. And then in back of the field there are trails through the woods that we ride our atvs through. So we walked back there too. We ended up walking about 50 min. And at a pretty good pace. So, I'm going to say we probably walked at least 3 miles. We also had some good conversations so it was a good thing all around.
Of course, he didn't want to walk the route dh and I take because it's the "road" and someone might see him walking with his mom! LOL

Those walks sound wonderful (and awesome--4 miles is great!) My in-laws also have a farm and several acres and it's really beautiful to walk on the trails. I haven't done that in a long time, but with the weather getting cooler I just may start that again. Way in the back they used to have a small circle of trees and when my hubby and I were dating he and I were walking back there and in the distance I saw a small fire in the middle of the trees. I pointed it out and he acted all surprised and said we should go see about it. We walked up to it and there was a blanket laid out with two wine glasses, sparkling grape juice (which I LOVE) and some strawberries in a little ice chest, and a bouquet of flowers. I was so surprised! Then he made the evening even better and proposed!!
(His mom had prepared everything out there, while he and his sister were distracting me upstairs!)
Anyway, I forgot how much I love walking out there! Thanks for reminding me!
What you were saying about the Wii Fit was halarious! I just got one recently and think it's so fun and funny too! It's like a mom, asking me if I brushed my teeth today! I was like, wait, can it smell my morning breath, or what?!

BTW, I'd like to tell you that I'm some kind of incurable romantic type... but I'm not... I like to think that any short comings in that department are made up for in my natural supportiveness in all things related to my wife... I think for the most part she would agree...
That being said however, I gotta tell you Kristi, that's a great story, and an extremely cool and romantic way to propose. Hubby sounds like a great guy.

That would be funny if it said something about your teeth!
How sweet about your walk in the woods. We are lucky to live where we do. Sometimes I just forget how lucky.
