BTW, I'd like to tell you that I'm some kind of incurable romantic type... but I'm not... I like to think that any short comings in that department are made up for in my natural supportiveness in all things related to my wife... I think for the most part she would agree...
That being said however, I gotta tell you Kristi, that's a great story, and an extremely cool and romantic way to propose. Hubby sounds like a great guy.
That's the best kind of husband to be - the supportive type. I'm sure the romance comes into play too!

Just a short post to say that I didn't exercise. Ha! Like anyone really cares, but since I did come in, I'd thought I would post.
I had a major headache - it started at the base of my skull, then worked it's way up to my jaw. I think it's my TMJ. Anyway, it's an excuse...and well the "headache" lasted most of the evening.
Tomorrow's another day....

The dentist made me shell out $350 for a fancy mouth guard because she said it would prevent TMJ and also gum-recession. I wear it like a Good Girl, and now I'm very glad I do! it was EXPENSIVE though, sheesh! Sorry you have awful headaches and can't exercise--I hope it goes away!

I never made it to the specialist that I was referred to. I was told as long as I can manage the pain - sometimes that's just the best thing to do. That advice was from the orthodontist. I have to wear retainers at night anyway. I think that I actually got the tmj from having my teeth fixed! If I had known some of the things I know now, I might have never had had them straightened. I didn't have major flaws, but enough that I wanted them taken care of.

Well this morning I stepped on the scale and I was under 160! My weigh-in was at 159.5!
I'm pretty surprised at that number and pretty happy with it too. However I didn't exercise yesterday or today. I was just too tired when I got home from work. I know, not really a good excuse at all. But that's how the day went.
I'm planning on getting in some good walks this weekend if the weather holds up. Otherwise it will be on the fit or the elliptical.

Hi Angel!
I ate badly today so I'm sure it will be up. I did get a nice walk in with dh this evening. But before that for 2 days nada! I get drained because I give it all to the kiddos I work for.

Got in a walk with dh today. It was such a beautiful day too! Every day I come home there is this line of trees that is so brilliantly colored I just want it to be like that until next spring! I saw someone out taking a picture of it today too.
I wish our woods were colored like that. We have a nice foilage, but this is just a whole row of oranges, reds, yellows, greens, browns, etc. Just beautiful.
Anyway, I know we won't have many more days like this and it makes me kind of sad because I hate the cold. That means dh and I will have to work out together in the basement - he can have the treadmill and I'll take the elliptical.
I got a compliment today from a lady at work. She asked me if I was "melting". I was like, huh? Then she asked if I was losing weight, and I said that I was trying. She said she could see it in my face.
Well I wish I could see it! That and it would just really melt off!

Okay I'm a couple days late posting on this one, musta slipped by me. But wow don't those bring back painful memories (shudders).
Here's luck for ya, I had braces for 2 + years going into my senior year in high school. Got them removed in March, wore a retainer until late May, Gradutation weekend was out riding around with a buddy. He was distracted, no warning, right into a telephone pole. My face hit the dashboard, broke my jaw, had to have my mouth wired for 6 weeks (never wanted to drink a carnation instant breakfast again for as long as I live). Guess what? Teeth were all screwed up again and the retainer didn't fit anymore. $$$$ out the window on orthodontic work.
Parents were not pleased...
