Hey there girl! Well thank you!
I don't feel I'm trying hard enough, but I guess the walking is paying off. I weighed in on Friday at 158! I did so again on Sat. so I guess that is my new low. Except that Sat. I took a friend out for a long overdue bday meal and we over did it! LOL So, my weight was up just a little this morning.
Got to go drop some kiddos off at a church function.
Ciao!

Well I've been on a blah-hiatus. I just haven't been feeling like doing much of anything. It all started after I painted my bathroom. I don't know that that had anything to do with my mood, but that's my point of reference.
That's been at least 3 weeks now and in 3 weeks I've exercised once - one time!
I have no ambition to do anything. I have been making plans in my head, but that's as far as they get. I don't know if it has to do with fall turning dreary (which I do have issues with), or if I've just fallen into a funk.
Frankly at this point I really don't care. I don't care about losing weight nor do I care about the exercise itself. I feel a lot of stress from my job and I've been having various aches and pains throughout my body (which I have made a dr.'s appt. for.) And yeah, I know all about exercise and how it raises endorphins. But even that 1 time on the elliptical - I didn't get any exercise "high" and I just went through the motions. In fact, I wasn't even sweating when I was done. Blah....
The only good news is that my weight is maintaining, not going up, not going down - just staying in the same range: 158-161 (always getting back to 158.)
I'm not even motivated to get on the Wii fit...

HI SWEATPEA!! Okay, I seriously want to know, do YOU and BELL every take a bad photo???? Really, I LOVE the new avi, you and Bell are so gorgeous, you always look amazing in your pictures. Youthful and alive and happy. I'm so jealous and I want you to know that!. I was MIA for a few months myself. Things have been nuts around my house since maybe May of this year, everything is moving so fast I rarely had time to go online and post, and after a blasting year of going to the gym 3-4 days a week, NON STOP, I finally had to take a break. So don't worry about not being motivated to workout, we ALL go through a period of shut down, it's normal. Just don't let it take over, and your not, your walking and that's great! I'm so surprised and happy that you have got all the way down to the 150's HOLY SMOKES girl, you should be so happy about that. I'm not there yet, but I wish I was, Don't let go of how hard you worked to get there, because it sucks trying to get there, take it from someone who's pushing for that goal right now. YOU CAN DO IT! stay positive and don't let go of what you really want for yourself, and that's just to be healthy regardless of weight.
So are you going to see the Dr soon??? You look real young, so I wouldn't think arthritis, but does that run in your family??? You said you have a lot of pain, so that would be my first thought. Well whatever it is, I hope they are able to work it out for you, body pain SUCKS!
Take Care my dear and have a great rest of your weekend! I'll be checking in on you so I want to see a little uplift, let me know if I can help.
HUGS
Kim

Thanks! You're the best. I did go and workout on the elliptical last night. And, I actually made an effort.
However, today is a different story again. My job stress isn't related to the economy yet. I work at a private school, so I'm sure it's looming on the horizon.
Anyway, thanks for the good thoughts.

Hey Kim! Thanks for stopping by. I should do better to stop by everyone's journals too. I'm sure that would motivate (or at least help) me.
Yeah, I think I've taken bad photos, those are the ones that aren't posted of course. Ha! I'm sure Bell would say the same.
But thanks!
Actually I'm not walking right now due to the weather. Dh and I were really going good, but I'm not up for walks in the cold and now the snow!
I do have a dr's appt so I will let her know all of my concerns.
Take care!

I finally was able to take a few minutes and read through your diary. I always call my sons Sweet Pea. I read your first entry and see that's what you meant to put when you started this diary. It's kind of cool you typed "sweat" instead ... a precursor of things to come.
I hover at 155-160 for the most part and it's that last 15 that I'm working on to meet my goal. There's a time and a place for everything so don't pressure yourself to be somewhere you're not. You will re-commit on a regular basis to your workouts (which seemed frequent in the first part of your diary). You know how to do it. There seems to be some other stuff going on that you're taking care of. It's all good.
We have stupid cold weather up here in Saskatchewan (although native born prairie people will say it's lovely) so I understand about walks in the snow and cold. I have arthritis in my left wrist and cold does a number on it.
I think it's so adorable your husband calls you Sweet Pea.

Hi!!
Thanks for stopping by.
More than anything I think it's my job. I have to get up early (too early for me - 5:20 am) and then work with kids all day (draining sometimes.) Then come home and spend time wiht the family. With all of that, I don't even feel like cooking a good meal, let alone exercising. Plus, I am feeling pretty run down. Of course exercising would probably help!

That is RANK getting up that early AND working with kids ... I'd be assasinating people all over the place. I completely hear you on exhaustion mother/work factor. Don't even feel like cooking let alone exercising, YES maam. So what's your plan for dealing with the run-down factor? Enough sleep, exercise before cooking, dividing cooking with the man of the house, what? See, I'm learning all this stuff right now too.
Hang in there SweetPea !!!!!

Probably I just have to do it!
My kids are old enough that if mom doesn't feel like cooking, they know how to make themselves something to eat (same with dh!) As far as exercising, I've got to "just do it". And, quit making excuses. I literally just feel run down. I think it's job-related stress too. I think I put too high of expectations on myself. But it's the environment I'm working in that makes me think I have to go above and beyond. I hear it all the time from dh - they're just 3 to 6 yr olds, how hard can it be? But, he does tell me that I'm making it harder on myself. But that's just me.
One thing I should do less of is being online. But, I do have my online addictions and if I sit down to them first then I never get in the exercise!
