Rep Power: 11 | | | I have the same foot numbness issue on the elliptical when I'm on it for any length of time. It goes away right after I stop...but it's just weird when I'm on it!! |

Sounds like you had a good week for exercise and such. I did good too this week, now I gotta keep it up...
BTW, Is there a medical issue with your feet? | No medical issues that I know of. Generally I don't have problems. I did look it up and it can be the shoes. It says that when walking for exercise that you should buy a size bigger because your feet swell and also hit the tips of the sneakers which can cause the numbness.
I wore my "bigger" tennies today and not much of a problem (except the blister I acquired yesterday!)
I'm going to go look for a good pair of tennies this weekend. |

Rep Power: 26 | | Too funny about the dh! I've heard that before.
I am not Bell's sister. Just friends. However, we have come from similar backgrounds and wonder at times if we were separated at birth.
I don't Zumba though...LOL I don't really have extra time to go to the Y. Most of my exercise is here at home (when it happens!)
I love twizzlers! I can eat that many and more.
Thanks for stopping over here too! You're welcome anytime! |

Rep Power: 26 | | I got in a 40 min. walk with dh this evening. I couldn't handle another 4 mile one with the blister that I acquired yesterday. Plus, I'm beat after working all day, then going to an "art show" (at school), coming home and getting right out for my walk. I'm exhausted!
I haven't lost any weight though. I dunno. But, good news, my ring and pants are fitting better. |

Actually this morning I was down a pound. The scale has not moved in weeks so I'm ecstatic about that.
On a sad note, an uncle of mine whom I have not seen for a few years, called me "fat" today. I was a bit bummed by his attitude. Oh he thought he was being funny, but it really did hurt.
Also, my friend's father passed away this past Sat. and today I got news that my aunt has also passed away. She has been battling cancer for years.
Kind of a sad week for me. |

Week 3 of the challenge has been a bit hectic.
I have gotten most of my exercise in the last 2 days.
I have been on the wii fit for over an hour each day and have taken some small walks with dh. I had to make up for not doing much of anything the rest of the week. But, I think I'm good.
Eating has been pretty good, so I even think I will have bonus points this week!
My exercise so far:
Tues: Walk for 30 min.
Fri: Wii fit 1 hr 15 min., walk for 30 min.
Sat: Wii fit for 1 hr 20 min., walk for 30 min. |

I had been eating well until today. We went to the movies and I ate buttery yummy popcorn (again!) :sigh:
I cannot resist!
I am sure my weight will be up tomorrow due to all of the salt my dh put on it, but such is life. |

Rep Power: 26 | | Hi RG! Nah, I don't eat buttery popcorn everyday or anything of the sort. My weight did go up, but is back down.
I do have some good news - well dh went to the dr's office and got weighed and generally when you go you weigh at least 5 lbs more than at home. Well this time he weighed less and this is with his clothes on. So he is deducing that our scale at home is off!
But, there is no way to adjust it. Also even if the scale is off, my weight is still up due to the snuggness I feel in my clothes.
I have a dr's appt. tomorrow evening and I will report back in to see how much of a difference I see from the dr's office to home on the scales. |

Rep Power: 26 | | | So, when I went to the dr.'s my weight was a 2 lb difference. And, it was actually up. so, I don't know why dh's showed it down. I am sure the last time I went it was the same - as far as being up or down compared to home. And, I thought the scale was pretty accurate. Who really knows though? I mean as long as it shows a loss right? And, your pants fit better, who really cares?
I got in a lot of regular exercise as well as exercise from work do to it being cleaning weeks at school. I'm sure that helped with my weight dropping this week.
Either way I'll take it! |
