My dad is an exercise nut and my husband loves to work out. I wish i could like it LOL. I hate it! | I know how you feel! I had always hated to exercise in the past. Then in January I joined a Curves-type gym. I love circuit training! It is great for someone like you. Also, I go on lots of walks--which I enjoy now more than ever. My H also loves to exercise, and he was always going on about how good it feels when you're finished..blah blah blah. I would just roll my eyes and say, whatever...lol. But now I love to exercise--I don't always feel like doing it--but I always make myself do it. And when it's over I feel sooo good, not just physically, but mentally as well. It boosts my confidence b/c I did something good for myself, and those endorphins that are released make you happy. And I think that you could really use some endorphins right about now with all the stress in your life. Exercise is great for stress relief. So whenever you feel down, get out and exercise--I guarantee you'll feel much better afterwards!! |

Keep track of your calories and of your workouts and as long as you'reconsistant the weight will come off.. have some patience with yourself |

Rep Power: 7 | | | I just wish it would happen already I just wish my weight would drop!!!!! I have never had such a hard time losing weight. Having a baby and getting older really doesnt work with you either. The last couple of days I was a bit down about it all and I think I am feeling better today. |

Hey Natalie,
Hun, first off Welcome!
Ok, I need to start taking some of my own advice, but don't beat yourself up. You're doing great!!! I have learned that having children slows your metabolism down. I'm probably wrong, but that's what's happend to me. I'm not stating a fact, nor am I saying that is correct, but just from my unfortunate experience.
Anywho, back to my point. Don't always pay attention to the scale, I look at how my clothes fit, and inches lost as well. I always fluctuate around that time of the month by up to 5 lbs. It all changes the number on the scale. Just keep working out and watching portions. Go for long walks with your baby, don't forget to hydrate, water is the best key for weightloss. I hate water but I force myself, I hate working out too. Oh well!
Sorry I got off topic, have a great night, hope to talk to you soon!!! |

Rep Power: 17 | | Hey Natalie, Just thought I would drop by and see how the other military wives were doing. We have to stick together as far as military. I know first hand how hard it is not having your hubby around to help you out with the kids and support around the house in general. My husband has been stationed overseas or deployed for the last 3 years of our son's life and we haven't lived together since september 2004 which is really hard on our marriage let alone our son. He really doesn't understand why daddy only gets to come home every 6 months for 2 weeks at a time or why he can't call and talk to his daddy. I added you to msn so if you ever want to talk or vent or just need someone who really understands how hard this military wife thing really is you can im me or email me. anytime you just need to talk to someone. ajfavegrl@hotmail.com | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
