WooHoo on the 11 laps!! Man when it comes to drinks it's just better to take a shot. Mixed drinks are the worst! lol
One thing I usually do is try and plan the resturant we go out too. If I can't do that I just eat a chicken salad.
Your schedule sounds great! You can do it! Way to go on making a concrete workout lan!

I am not a big shot person :s. But, I survived the weekend and I think I will still be ok for a loss this week (keep fingers crossed). No more eating out everyday! Today was a very good day. I ate all the right things AND I just got done walking the track. I walked mostly today because my muscles were a little sore/stiff from my workout yesterday. I also didn't want to over do it so I can get a good workout in tomorrow morning. I have officially exercised 3 days in a row . I have also been drinking a lot of water. I did forget my multi-vitamin this morning, but I have been pretty good about taking it... so I guess one day won't hurt.

I REALLY want to be under 180 on Friday. I think that would make my week!

Ever have one of thoes days where you wish you could pick where to loose weight first? I had that day today. I bought some new slacks... they fit me good, but when I sit down... I wish I could loose the next 5lbs in my stomach. Is that too much to ask?

Anyways, other than that I am having a good day. The food situation is under control. I had my fruit for breakfast, a protein shake for lunch and a salad for a late lunch/early dinner with some fat free cottage cheese. I also had 1/2 of an apple for snack during my last class. I will eat again in about an hour, but it will be a small snack. I am thinking chicken breast with some brown rice.

I didn't make it to the gym today. I was so tired from this weekends crazyness that I decided to sleep in. I am going to walk around the track in about 20min. There is soccer practice going on over there right now... so hopefully they will be gone by then. I like having it to myself . I am going to try to run more today since my muscles are feeling better. 11 laps in 35 min is my goal. I did walk more than usual between classes today. That was nice.

I have to run for now. I need to at least start my reading before I go on my walk.

i know exactly how you feel. i dont like my hip area at all and i hate that its just there. i wish i coulf just lose weight faster but i know thats ridiculous. i know i lost too much weight this weekend!

congrats of keeping up with you workouts and all!!

Well, I am having another good day! The food situation is good. I had my fruit this morning, a low fat yogert for a mid morning (10 am) snack, a 1 serving can of low sodium V8 for another snack (11am) and a small black bean burrito w/ two hard boiled eggs for lunch. I got the burrito on campus and you can make them huge, but I have been having them made about 1/2 the size as I was eating last year. I have also drank over 2L of water and made my exercise goal for the day! I made it to the gym after class and did 3.5 miles on the eliptical in 36 min. It said I burned 500 calories! I also did some upper body lifting and stretching.

For dinner I am having brown rice with a red sauce that has bison meat in it with veggies. I think I will have some corn and possibly baby carrots with that as well.

After all of thoes great things today I have to try to do homework! I am really having a hard time getting into the swing of things. I have a lot to do. It is going to be a long night.

One more day until weigh-in. Hopefully I make it to the gym in the morning. My knees are hurting a little bit tonight, but I got my glucosamine that I have gotten away from taking. Hopefully that will help.

Well, thats all for now. I have to go do some research and write a short paper tonight.

Well, so far today I have been having another good day. I don't think I am going to be able to exercise today though. I was supposed to go to the gym this morning, but due to a crazy evening I had to spend the morning finishing up homework. I do need to let my knee's rest and I have worked out everyday since Saturday, so my body needs a day of rest. I think I am going to make it to the gym tomorrow afternoon.

For food today I had my bowl of fruit, a protein shake, a small salad with two hard boiled eggs and we are going out for Japanese for dinner. I am feeling like I am low on calories today (don't want to be one of thoes 1,200 calorie people that Steve is concerned about)... so I will make sure to eat plenty tonight . I might even have a small snack before dinner... I am feeling hungry.

Weigh-in in the morning... hopefully it goes well!

Hello 170's! :D

Well, I made my goal for the week!

Today I weighed-in at 179.4! I lost 1.8lbs this week. According to my BMI I have officially moved from "obese" to "overweight."

I am 31.4lbs away from my current goal.
I am 11lbs away from my lowest weight (that I have been to in a couple years).
I am 14.4lbs away from my fall semester challenge goal.

It is a good day!

My goal for next week is 1.4lbs. I would like to be within 30lbs of my goal! .

Thats all for now... busy Friday.

yay for breaking into the 170s! thats awesome! congrats on that. sorry i havent been around for a few days... im sure you understand.
anyways, now im trying to get back into my diet and back into living my life everyday. neede your help on this!!

Thanks Jersey and Katt for your support!

I did have a little bit of a binge last night. We went to some friends house for a BBQ (so I didn't make it to the gym again). I ate a little too much and had some wine. But, that is my only binge day this weekend (unlike last weekend's challenges). I feel ok about it. It could have been worse! I could have ate a lot more and finished the bottle of wine. I did get some unconventional exercise last night , so that counts as calorie buring... right?

I am dressed and ready to go to the gym today. I am at work (I watch a couple kiddos now and then), but I am headed straight to the gym when I get done. I need to burn off some of the foods from last night. I think I will be staying home the rest of the weekend. I have lots of reading and homework to get caught up on.

Frustration...

I guess that means I can count that as buring calories .

I am a little frustrated with myself today. I was doing laundry and looking for something to wear while my jeans that I love were drying. As I looked through my closet I pulled out a pair of slacks that I haven't worn in a while. I lived in these slacks two summers ago and thought they would be nice to wear today. Well... apparently no such thing was going to happen. They are not even close to fitting me . I am so mad at myself! As happy as I am with the results that I have gotten over the past month, I am upset that I have to go through this again. Because of what? Because I get lazy and I start eating whatever I want without thinking about it. UGH! I am about 10lbs away from fitting into that particular pair of pants. I just want this to be the time that I loose ALL of the weight and keep it off! I am sick of this roller coaster!

I did do pretty good today. I had a great workout this afternoon and did decent food wise. Weekends are always harder, but I did much better today than last Saturday and I didn't have any wine or vodka (always a plus). I am headed to the gym again tomorrow (well today... since it is 1am).

I feel better now that I got that off my chest. Time for sleep.

I didn't get a chance to workout today. The hubby and I had to go shoe shopping (running shoes for me and work shoes for him). We had lunch at the Olive Garden. I had the soup (minstrone), salad and breadsticks lunch. It was good. I looked at the calories for it when I got home... and I think it was about 750. We had salmon with brown rice and salad for dinner. Overall today I think I did well with the food. With my morning fruit I think I am around 1700-1800 calories for the day. Considering that my maintenance is ~ 2150... it was a good day.

Tomorrow is going to be a LONG day! I start class at 9am and don't get out until 4pm (with NO breaks). I have already made myself a chicken salad for lunch and I will also pack some FF cottage cheese, low fat yogert and other yummies for snack. I have a 5pm apointment tomorrow night and I am a little nervous about food temptations. The lady that I am going with to the appt mentioned today that we could go through the drive through on the way there... I think I will have to pack extra food so I can tell her I am not hugry. Also, last time we went to visit this person she had cookies for us ... it might be a long evening tomorrow. I don't think I will get a workout in. Maybe when I get home... I REALLY want to try out my new shoes .

Anyways, thats all for tonight... I have more reading to do than one person can get done in a day. Sigh... oh well.
