It sounds like you are doing GREAT! I am excited to be in the 180s, and really looking forward to hitting the 170s for the first time since having my kids (ummm...about 10 years ago ).

Rep Power: 8 | | I am feeling much better today. Both today and yesterday I have been good with the food situation. It is much easier when I have to go to class then on the weekends when we go out... that will be my next goal. To eat healthier on the weekends. I don't know if I will have a loss this week (due to last weekend). I also haven't been able to work out yet. I think I will be feeling up to it on Thursday or Friday. I will be OK with no loss this week (or a small gain). I just need to be happy with the success that I have had thus far and know that if I continue the weight will come off. It might take a little longer than I would like, but it will come off. I don't need to drop all of the weight right now anyways... my first "event" that I would like to be lighter for isn't until January 5th.
Thanks to everyone who checked in. I will try to make it around to your diaries tonight. I only have 50 pages to read. Whats 50 pages, right? |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Yet another good food day (so far). I have been really good about brining lunch with me when I know its going to be a crazy day at school. It has been helping me eat healthier and smaller portions than I normally would.
I am really hoping to see 178.something on the scale in the morning. I have seen 179 a lot, but I have yet to see anything below that *Keeping fingers crossed*.
I will update with my weight in the morning. I have a long night of homework ahead of me. |

Rep Power: 8 | | Time frames... I know I said I wouldn't write anything else until the morning, but I am feeling chatty and I am sitting alone.
So, tonight I have officially put time frames on my weight loss. I have been apart of the fall semester challenge for students and want to be down to 165 by the end of the semester. I also just joined the birthday challenge . I have set my birthday goal at 154lbs. I can hardly imagine me at 154. I do have a picture from when I was 18, but it has been a long time! I am scared and excited at the same time. It is a good goal. ~ 1.5 lbs a week is what it comes down to. Thats really do-able... as long as I don't get sick too much this semester and it requires that I be good through the holidays and my vacation. w
I am ready! And excited! I am going to set 148 goal for valentines day. I think that is reasonable! I would be so excited to be able to by a sexy little dress to wear on valentines day... I have never been able to do that! Oh yes, valentines day it is!
I am re-energized! Ready to go bring on a new healthy life! |

AND you can buy more than one sexy little dress Thats my goal. Get skinny, dress like a hootch for a bit. NOOOO. I'm kidding. A little. Ok, a lot, ya have the fat girl complex for so long, I don't know if I could really ever dress like a hootch.. But anyway, that was a lotta ramble about a lotta nothin. SO- fingers crossed for 178 tomorrow! Watch it be like 177. That would be awesome. Have a great day! |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Determined... Well, I was disappointed this morning. The scale did not change... I get this inkling thought that maybe it doesn't know how to go below 179, but I have weighed my cats on it and it is correct for them.
I understand why I didn't loose. I really only had 3 days of eating healthy this week due to my weekend binge. I am thankful that I did not gain anything (at least according to today) from that. It is nice to see that when I weighed in at 179 it wasn't a fluke. I always think that low weigh-ins might be just a fluke for that day. Well... apparently it is not... I weigh 179. I also only had 6 days of this week (since I changed weigh-in from Friday to Thursday)... not that one day would have done much, but maybe a couple of ounces below 179 would have been nice. I also had a high sodium dinner last night... maybe that had something to do with it?
Goals for this week:
1. Eat healthy this weekend
2. Work out at least 3x (I am feeling better)
3. Loose 1.5lbs
4. Not weighing myself everyday (it is not helpful)
I am going to try to go for a walk tonight, it just depends on how late I get home from school. I want to get out there and see how my body reacts after being sick for two weeks.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone! Bring on the week! |

hahaha thats so funny that you weigh your cats on the scale. i always get off of it and then just push with only my foot and then get back on. just to make sure, you know.
i actually read a study done at yale that said that weighing yourself everyday has been proven to help in weight maintenence. Im not sure about weight loss.. but i guess the premise is that if you weigh yourslf every day you notice a 1 lb gain and youll make sure not to let it get out of hand.
anyways- i think your goals are great. good luck this week... break 179!! |

Sounds like really good realistic goals. I know what you mean about thinking scales dont know any different. I think mine will be shocked if and when I drop below 210!!!
Have a good weekend! |
