JUST FOR TODAY JESS... none of that food JUST because it's there. IF you REALLY want it tomorrow, have it then... but JUST FOR TODAY, only healthy food that will make you feel good mentally and physically! |

Rep Power: 25 | | So my sister and I got up early this morning(I didn't have to open at work today) and went to order our kitchen floor stuff... Almost $900, bleh! Buuutt the whole house will look super pretty when we're done, so I guess its worth it. After we ordered our stuff we went to lunch at the China Buffet and I didn't eat very well. Then after work I ate mac and cheese. OOHhhhh healthy! lol. This just goes back to my earlier post of- I'm sabatoging myself! But Paula talked some sense into me- one day at a time. It will work. absolutely.
Tonights workout was ok: incline presses, chest press, calf raises. For abs I did 4setsx25 and cardio I did 19minutes, 1.35miles on the eliptical, and 21minutes, 1.05 miles on the treadmill. I've gotta say- incline presses are friggin hard! No joke- I did the first set of 15 on 30lbs, and after that I could hardly do 3 more sets of 10 on 15lbs... they hurt! holy hell!
I'm gonna try to make tomorrow night a killer workout, something I'll feel allll weekend, just in case I don't get a workout in...
And my food will be amazing. I've already got my breakfast ready to go in the morning, and I'm gonna pack a lunch, even tho at gnc I could just eat a protein jerky and a bar or a shake or something, but I don't wanna pay for it either, lol. |

Rep Power: 25 | | Well my "last" workout for the week wasn't as killer as I would have liked it to be, but I was so beat by the end of it that I couldn't keep going On the upside, I got in my cardio, my abs, and my weights.
Tonight was tris and bis, so I did tricep extensions, dips, bicep curls, ASSISTED chinups(cuz this fat girl can't lift herself, YET, lol). Did 3sets x 25 reps of crunches, and for cardio I did 30min and 10.83miles on the bike again.
Tomorrow is the last day for this weeks point tallying, and even tho its normally my day off, I'm gonna definately try to get some cardio and strength training in. Abs isn't a big deal cuz thats RELATIVELY easy. Really hoping for a good weigh in to... we'll see I guess! |

Rep Power: 25 | | SO, did crunches today, so 1 point there, and used my bands, 1 point there also, but no cardio I figured as much would happen... Fridays are usually the only night I go out, and while I had planned on *trying* to get some cardio in, I ended up getting off work at 630, did my crunches and bands, and then a friend called and we went to dinner. We ended up going to Applebees, and I ordered the orange chicken bowl(not entirely healthy, but LOTS of veggies at least, lol) and 2 alchy drinks. Afterwords, we met up with a few other people, annnnndddd drank a bit of red beer..and maybe a few(Eight) shots.
I will say tho, yesterday was fantastic for calories- paulas "just for today" was amazing, because as long as you keep saying it when you feel like eating, you reallllly don't wanna pig out. After I got off work and was just sitting here, there were so many times watching tv that I would look at the kitchen door and think, hmm, I've got some good stuff in the cupboard... And each time, as long as I sat there and said, nope. If I absolutely hafta have it tomorrow, maybe I'll have a slice, or bad, or cup, or whatever! The truth is tho it was reallly hard. It worked, but I hadta force myself to stay away. I think it'll get easier as the days go by and stuff, and even todaywasn't so bad, other than the second half of my night.
I'm gonna weigh in tomrrow, and even though I'm not expecting any loss, just because I did have a problem with eating right the first four days of the week(how sad!!), AND even though it will affect my team(sorry guys ) I am actually pretty pleased with myself. I pushed myself to workout every night, without excuses, and thats such a good start for me that I can't even describe to you all!
K, I'll be back tomorrow for an update on the loss/gain aspect of the week |
