Rep Power: 14 | | The orange chicken bowl at applebee's is so freaking good. Haha. What's worse than applebee's for me is pickle barrel. Do you guys have one in your town? That place is DEATH to me.
Good job on getting some exercise in.. and it matters sooo much how you feel. You did great for the majority of the week, so don't beat yourself up over things. And! you refused your yummies in your cupboard. That is freaking amazing. Go you. |

| Yeah we have Pickle Barrel, eh, I'm not a HUGE fan of it tho, but most people are. Do you guys have a Staggering Ox yet? Oh man, they have the best veggie sandwiches EVER. God, it makes me want one now... |

Fridays are usually the only night I go out, and while I had planned on *trying* to get some cardio in, I ended up getting off work at 630, did my crunches and bands, and then a friend called and we went to dinner. We ended up going to Applebees, and I ordered the orange chicken bowl(not entirely healthy, but LOTS of veggies at least, lol) and 2 alchy drinks. Afterwords, we met up with a few other people, annnnndddd drank a bit of red beer..and maybe a few(Eight) shots.
I will say tho, yesterday was fantastic for calories- paulas "just for today" was amazing, because as long as you keep saying it when you feel like eating, you reallllly don't wanna pig out. After I got off work and was just sitting here, there were so many times watching tv that I would look at the kitchen door and think, hmm, I've got some good stuff in the cupboard... And each time, as long as I sat there and said, nope. If I absolutely hafta have it tomorrow, maybe I'll have a slice, or bad, or cup, or whatever! The truth is tho it was reallly hard. It worked, but I hadta force myself to stay away. I think it'll get easier as the days go by and stuff, and even todaywasn't so bad, other than the second half of my night.
I'm gonna weigh in tomrrow, and even though I'm not expecting any loss, just because I did have a problem with eating right the first four days of the week(how sad!!), AND even though it will affect my team(sorry guys ) I am actually pretty pleased with myself. I pushed myself to workout every night, without excuses, and thats such a good start for me that I can't even describe to you all!
K, I'll be back tomorrow for an update on the loss/gain aspect of the week | OH JESS....HOW I feel YOU on THIS.....
I trust IN THE DAY by DAY theory, and I FEEL we BOTH will BE SUCCESSFUl with ADOPTING this MENTALITY!!! LETS do THIS COMPETITOR!!!
LETS smash ON these POUNDS!!! |

Rep Power: 25 | | Alright- end of week two I finished with 2lbs down, thank GOD! I didn't expect it at all, because my food the beginning of the week was sooo horrible, but week three is gonna be amazing... Only problem, I might only get three points for the 8hrs of sleep bonus, lol. I know thats bad, but I go to the gym at 11:30 to 1:30am, post in here, and then sleep for about six hours before I go to work. The only days I really get a full 8 are the days when I don't have to open at the store.. I'm still gonna get all my other points on cardio and weight training tho..
So today I'm gonna be double dutying the working out- I go to the gym tonight of course, and when I'm done in here I've gotta finish cutting up the linoleum in the kitchen. BLEH! Its freakishly difficult when the stupid stuff has been there for a zillion years. So yeah, I'll get a good sweat going there, and will definately get some arm stuff in. |

Rep Power: 11 | | | Hey girl! Just checking in on you and 2 lbs is pretty damn good!!! Sounds like you have a two-a-day going on! NUTS!!!
The "just for today" mantra you told me about from Paula is working its magic. Sometimes it is something so simple that makes so much sense.
Keep up the great work!!! |

Rep Power: 25 | | So last night I swam- I had originally decided that I wasn't gonna use swimming as cardio, but man, its SUCH a good workout that I hadta. Besides, it felt amazinnngg considering its been getting so hot. So I found a website that gives you pool resistance training, that way I was able to get both work out points in the pool, and didn't have to go do weights for half hour when I was done.. My arms hurt a lot today, and my butt to- I used a kickboard(haha! Haven't used one of those since junior high) and that works a number on the tush! BUT- my tush needs it, so it works.
Today I've got the day off from work, and I've got some random stuff to do round the house- hang curtain rods, cupboard doors, chip more linoleum, work on the back yard...bleh. I don't wanna do anything, not gonna lie- I feel uber lazy today and its gonna be a bit of a struggle! |

Rep Power: 25 | | So I thought tonights workout was actually a pretty killer one till I saw RadiantPebble's workout, lol. She kicked ass today! I'm not gonna lie- litttttle bit jealous, hahaha! jjjjkkkk.
I did leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises, shoulder presses. And for cardio, I did 13min and 1mile on the eliptical, 19min and 1mile on the treadmill, and 20min and 7.23miles on the bike. Shoulda gone an extra seven minutes and gotten in a full hour of cardio, but when your dripping sweat, and outta breath, ya don't really think of the extra seven
Food today- NOT bad. But not the greatest. All in all, I mighta gone over calories by about three hundred. I DID have a small little blizzard tho, the harshest, and most, calories of my food. Usually I'd be frettin bout it, but not today. I've been doing pretty good on the food, and that makes me happy
Well- hope tomorrow is another great day! |
