Rep Power: 37 | | A pink dress? Yikes! Yes, you have to work it out in the next 7 months. There is nothing forgiving about a pink dress. Do you know if it is shiny? Shiny is the worst for showing shadows in all the wrong places.
I hope you get the house put back together soon. I bet that is a chore stepping around all that stuff during the week. You'll have to show pics when it's done.
Have a great week Jess! 7 months until Pink Day!!! |

Rep Power: 28 | | I am VERY happy to report that the bride called me today and said her maid of honor said she would wear pink and me and the other bridesmaid can wear black THANK YOU GOD. lol. Besides, the maid of honor is like, oh, 5'1'' and 100lbs?? She can handle a little pink
So anyway, I'm down four pounds since I started eating better, which is good, just need to get some workouts in, that will most definately help.
I've actually got very little to say today... weird, huh?? So, I'm gonna go, but I'll try to make it to a few journals first. Have a great day tomorrow everyone! |

Rep Power: 25 | | Hey, you lost 3 lbs in a week? That's TERRIFIC!!! You are definitely headed in the right direction. I sure do know how crummy it feels to regain weight you thought was gone for good, but at least you are getting back into the healthy swing of things before regaining all of it.
Might I suggest 1% cottage cheese with fruit (without fruit, you may hurl mightily!) for those "boredom hunger" times, or low fat/sugar free yogurt (in a tiny pot) with fruit. Not to mention, more water. And you know what, since I stopped eating so much *crap* I don't even have a craving for it anymore. Oh, my last suggestion is to keep things that are PORTION CONTROLLED in your cupboard! Like you can get these tiny bags of cookies that are only 100 calories, etc. That way, you don't go overboard. Or I count out so many pretzel sticks & have them with cubes of cheese OH YUM YUM (I have this slight love affair with cheese... )
As for such a lame wage you've been paid for your hard work, I took a Medical Transcription course on-line and my starting wage after 9 months of school was about $20 CDN. I love my job and expect to earn even more after being in it for a little while.
Best of luck, Jess. Keep at it! |

Rep Power: 28 | | So, for those who mighta caught the journal I had about 8 months ago- today, right this instant actually(2:30am) it has been exactly a year since the "ordeal". (for those who didn't- stupid really. I was with a guy, big mistake, he beat me up pretty bad, left me unconcious in a parking lot. with a TSHIRT on. Psh. fat girl rule. yikes.) So yeah, in the past year, I definately had my downs- which is what I attribute that 20lb gain to, but I've had my ups, as well. Nothing like a good ass kicking to see whos really there to support you lol. I kid, I kid. Strangely enuf, I feel nothing right now. No anger, no pain. You always hear about the anniversary of something really tearing people up, so naturally you just expect it to happen to you, but nope. Nada. Zip, and zilch, I might add. ALSO- I gotta say, I don't remember it... the dr's said to expect it to come back to me, but I haven't gotten a thing, so, yay!- I'm glad And maybe thats why, on the 1st year, I feel like me. I'm glad to be me again.. I missed me a little bit. For the most part. OTher than that damn 20lbs, psh.
Anywho- had an Amy's rice bowl with veggies for lunch today, added a piece of pepperjack cheese to zip it up a lil' bit, that was 320cals, and then had a fruit and nut bar, 140cals. Then my sister made enchiladas. *sigh* it was good eatin, lemme tell ya, lol. Then my other sister made these peanut butter bars, which were ok, but I'm not a peanut butter fan, so that helped me not pig out on those All in all- I say my calories ended up where they probably shoulda been.
ABBAgirl: I love plain cottage cheese! Whats wrong with you, chica?? lol. But yeah, fruit with it is pretty good too. As for the 100cal packs. I am a pack QUEEN! I've got pretty much a cupboard full of them, because like you say- the individual sizes are great, I don't keep eating em. Gonna hafta try the pretzel and cheese thing tho. Good Idea no yogurt tho. Bleh. One bite and the texture makes me wanna gag. Got shivers just thinkin about it hahah.
Requiem: First of all, I LOVE your dog! How frickin cute! And thanks for the support. I definately need it, lol.
Alrighty everyone, I'm off to bed, get to work at gnc in the am, woohoo! The malls been dead, which doesn't make for a good time, bleh.
Oh, and has anyone else noticed the pic of Gwen Stefani in the HP add? I would KILL to have eyebrows like that. Man.

Rep Power: 37 | | | Hi Jess!! Glad to hear you are wearing black! black???? Who wears black? Oh yeah, I did wear black one wedding as the maid of honor. You can rest easy now, whew! Dodged that pink bullet.
Wow, has it already been a year since the attack? I still can't believe he did that to you. Girl, I wish I was there, I would have tried my hardest to really hurt him. I don't know if you are interested or not, but I took a years worth of self defense, remember? I got 4 belts in Karate. If someone tries to do that to me, they better watch their junk and their eyeballs, cuz the karate kid is going to come out of me and turn their world upside down. Anyhow, I am not sure if you suffer from PTSD from the attack, but learning self defense gave me a piece of mind I never had before. I am wanting to go back and finish my lessons, going for black belt.
YOu are so cute with your "Pepperjack cheese to zip it up a bit" comment. That rice bowl sounds good, and I am so hungry right now.
Have a great week!! I hope you lose some poundage. |

Rep Power: 28 | | Well- other than having a hamburger, fries, and uh, oops, a shake, yesterday was smooth. Little boring actually... I will admit that I watched a LOT of tv, lol, coulda been working out. But NOOOO, not I. *sigh* gotta get to it, man! Gotta!
Today was pretty good too, I didn't have breakfast tho, felt kinda sick this morning (probably from the giant strawberry shake from last night haha!) and I've been cleaning the kitchen, throwing away stuff we don't need in the house- little rediculous really, I hafta wait to throw things away until my sisters aren't here, OR they'll freak out about something that we coulda kept. Well- if ya haven't used it in three years, chances are you WON'T EVER. HGTV taught me that
Anyways, gonna get to bed a little earlier than usual tonight, peace out yo |

Strawberry shake mmmm sounds good a guilty pleasure haha don't worry bout it though it'll work out.
I know how you feel about a lot of TV its like the premier weeks and all these new shows are on and I find myself probably watching more than I should loll oh well.
Hope you got some rest and all and that the kitchen ordeal, cleaning and such, is all done! Have a great day today!
PS if your still feeling sick like a cold is coming on I recommend Airborne. Stuff tastes kinda nasty but every time I start to feel a bit sick I take one and it really seems to help me avoid getting a full blown cold its almost like it supercharges my immune system I dunno lol. |

Rep Power: 37 | | | Hamburger, Fries, & a shake? What are you doing to me? LOL I am so hungry right now, and I can totally envision that sitting before me. Yum!!! Oh, I haven't had a burger and fries all week, I am so hungry right now. Losing weight is tough business.
Great job getting clutter out of the house. I am the sister that is the pack rat. I need to rid myself of tons of stuff. It's going to be a 3 day event, once I dive into the boxes of who knows what that I've had in storage forever. I bet it is all keepsakes and gifts from the past. Not looking forward to it.
Have a great day Jess! Take care. |

Yeah, and the kitchen thing? Psh. Its not just the kitchen... its the whole HOUSE. Remodeling is a bitch. I've decided that when my sisters and I are done with this, I'm NEVER doing it again. lol. |

Have a great day Jess! Take care. | Just re-reading my post of hamburger heaven makes me hungry for it How aweful! But your right- this IS a tough business. And I am quite obviously the slacker employee with her feet on the desk. Wish my boss would buckle down and tell me to get it together, lol.
Oh my goodness, no, I will admit that the clutter has been here a lonnnngggg time... In December my mom will be gone for four years, and we're just NOW getting things done. It made sense the first year, maybe two, that yeah, your mom dies, you don't wanna throw anything of hers away. So, we didn't. But you get my stuff, and my sisters stuff in here, and it just kept getting worse. So, I can't say that my sisters were totally to blame... Its like I said tho- we haven't used it in that long- what makes us think that our mom's 15 year old pans are gonna bring her back? lol, makes a little more sense now, than it did then, thats fershur.
(but I have been keeping an unnatural amount of "keepsakes" lol) |

Rep Power: 28 | | So everyone, today was a so-so day... Food was fan-friggin-tastic, got some work done on the house, watched the csi premier. can't help it... I'm addicted, lol.
BUT- I had a customer who wanted to return some protein, but no reciept, and theres no proof of it in the journal tape from the day she was in. and, of course, she paid cash. bleh. SOOO, she says, well, I paid $40 cash, for a shaker and xyience protein. When I do an onhand count of the protein- says there should be two, I only have one... There are days when I REALLY don't wanna be boss. I don't wanna hafta confront that employee tomorrow and say- did you steal it? cuz, I know shes having money problems right now... and that sucks, cuz I would hate to hafta fire her over $40 stupid dollars... MORAL DILEMMA!!! AGGGHH! But, ya know what, its my job on the line, and I like my job. I'm good at it, my customers love me, and well, I like making the schedule. (mini power trip, lol) It is what it is, right?
So, something I realized today- the last coupla days I haven't been craving things later at night like usual... Tonight I was a lil hungry at bout 12, so I had a 100cal pack of cookies and a cup of 30cal cafe vienna. MMM. hits the spot I gotta use that trick more often. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
