Happy to report that I DID go to the gym tonight, and I worked pretty damn hard considering last week was a bust. Tonight was legs, so I did leg curls, extensions, hip ads and abs, the leg chin up thingy and rotary calf. Cardio- was just gonna do 30minutes, but with the fact that I need to catch up if I wanna be hot for Vegas, I did an hour on the bike and almost 22miles. I'm fairly certain that number could be higher, but At about 35minutes, my legs didn't wanna push as hard BUT I did it, so I guess thats all that matters!
Today was an ok day- my sister and I got up early(on my day off, early isn't in my vocab, so it kinda sucked to get going, lol) and went to Lowes to order the new kitchen stove and bought all the stuff to lay the new kitchen tile with. The tile is really freakin me out. I'm soo scared I'm gonna f-up almost 900 dollars worth of flooring that I'm almost willing to leave the ugly subfloor there ahah! Went to lunch with a friend that just got back to town- ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, had a half a cheeseburger and fries That was my bad meal for the week.. Before I went to the gym I had a protein smoothie with skim milk, a banana, and a tsp of peanut butter with a little bit of flax seed.
Got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, so I'm off to bed!
Great job at the gym! Pat on the back for you! What are the leg up chin thingys?? Sounds exotic. hahahaha I heard a lot of people are using flax seed. What exactly is it for??

Great job!!![/QUOTE]
Ya know the assisted dip/chin up machine at the gym?? Paula found this move in a mag where you just use one leg at a time to push down, works the butt, pretty good workout actually.

Great job!!!
Flax seed is a really good source of fiber, omega three fatty acids, etc.
Gonna quick post my workout and then head to bed:
Tonight was back; cardio was 1hr and almost 22miles on the bike again. Probably gonna swim tomorrow night, and possibly do some more afterwards...can't decide

Keep it up Jess! You are doing awesome this week!!!!!!
No insane hail here, but I was driving downtown when it decided to start pouring so hard that everyone was pulling over, lol! The wind was about 50mph to, but I'm glad there wasn't any hail However, the change in temp was AMAZING! It went from 103 to 65 in about two hours, ahhh. It was great.
Hope your swim went well!!!!! Sounds like you are ripping out those miles on the bike, way to go!
Oh my GOD! The swim was amazing. it felt terrific, I got a good workout in, and it was a nice change. Yeah, I can push myself on the bike pretty well, but I NEED to start adding variety back in.. I'm getting to use to the bike, not that it makes it any easier, lol! I still feel like I'm dying half way thru, but I know I gotta change things up a little
So yesterday was shoulders, and I swam for cardio, so I got to the gym half hour before my swim partner showed up so that I could get that done... I did lat raises, presses, rotary shoulder, AND I did the rear deltoid- that one is sort of a mixed workout- gets a little shoulder, little chest, and a little bit of the back, so I think in the future I'll add this to my back days, because I can't find a whole lot to do for back exercises... Swam for 40 minutes, tho a few of it was b.s.ing.
Todays workout was chest, and I did pec flys, incline press, and chest press. Did 30 minutes on the bike, and 11miles. I decided to try running also, annnnd managed to do 2 minutes, lol. One day I'm gonna run a friggin marathon dammit!
Food has been pretty decent this week- I did go to the NaRa and finally tried sushi!!- and from what I can find on calories, its not all that low, sooo I probably had a lot that day.. It was pretty good tho, I'd definately eat it again. I was just super excited to finally find someone who LIKED sushi, and wanted to take me!! Ya mention sushi to some people, and their faces contort into the most uncomfortable looking positions I've ever seen.. hm. Oh well, I hate it when people freak out without trying stuff for themselves. It doesn't make sense- how do they think they've found a favorite ANYTHING? Psh. Rant of the day!

Haha, that is so typical Montana for ya.
On main street here, people's tires were completely submerged in water at some intersections, and the power went out four times while I was at work... so stop lights and whatnot weren't working. It was a mess!
Way to go at the gym!!! It must feel SO good to get in the water to swim after you do your other exercises!
