Sounds like you had a decent day yesterday sept for the stealer! Hopefully that wont cause major drama and can be resolved easily.
How long till you think your remodeling will be done? I remember having to help my pops do it a few years back it was a pain. But when your done with it I bet it will look great.
And yeah 12 days for my shoes was insane but they did come last night of course after my run argh!

I didn't get to see CSI... I often watch it on re-runs. I am a big Greys Anatomy fan though, so I was watching that. I just don't know why they have to premier everything at the same time. Frustrating! I am a little upset that October Road is not on right now. I don't know if you watched the short season of it that was on last spring, but it was wonderful!
Anyways, hopefully you are having a good Friday! I need to go make myself a shake and possibly do a Carmen Electra DVD .

So, this is a real quick sign in, I've got about 20 minutes before I gotta go work at the gym, but I HADTA get on and say- I'm down 7 lbs!! AHHH! Feels great. I wanna lose 10 total before my trip to MO the end of October, shouldn't be a problem. But yep, seven pounds just with cleaning up my eating a little bit, lowering my calories. Oh my goodness... In about 12lbs I can fit back into the "skinniER" clothes that I was wearing last year. YAYYYY! I'll be back tomorrow night for a better entry, and to check on everyone
Travis: yeah, we still hafta finish our cupboards, paint the trim, and put down the laminate flooring... gotta find people who know how to do that one first tho We got the windows put in the living room today, looks great So, hopefully not to much longer. I wanna accessorize heheh!
Arrrrgggg! Today has been quite possibly the lonnnngest day of my life, lol. I worked at the mall yesterday from 4pm to 9:30pm, then came home, got ready to go to work at the gym, worked 11pm to 8am- was only SUPPOSE to be there till 7, but the morning kid decided he didn't like the job. Whatever. SOoooo then I came home, changed into some crappy clothes, and my little sisters boyfriend came over and we put in the new windows for our living room. Soooo much nicer, I love them! However, its 1am, and I took a little bitty 2 hour nap at about 7pm, and thats it. I'm busted right now. Holy crap. Needless to say, I didn't eat a lot, but what I ate was probably TONS of calories. After my sister got off work, and we were done putting in the windows, we went to Texas Roadhouse. mmm. I got chicken strips and fries, and I did use a little trick- when it got to the table I took half the chicken and half the fries off my plate, and put em on a side plate. First of all, the chicken, eh, coulda been better. But usually I have no problems cleaning my plate... and I guess what they say is true: If you dont see it, you don't eat it. And I was FULL!!! That made me happier than it probably shoulda, lol. So about an hour ago, my other sister comes home with a big box of bagels annnnd I had one. Cheddar herb with jalapeno cheddar cream cheese. and it was ginormous... so I'm guessing around 700cals just for that?? Not to smart on my part, I shoulda been able to grab something healthier outta the cupboard... I think its mostly cuz I'm uber tired right now.
I saw a picture of the bridesmaid dress I'm wearing in May- actually REALLY cute. Which, definately makes me happy. And, on an exciting note, I'm gonna pack a bag for the gym tomorrow, and when I close my store at the mall I'm going STRAIGHT to the gym woohoo! So, I'll let everyone know how it goes
SO, good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad news
When I was in the shower this morning, just STANDING there, if I may, and the very bottom of my spine made this really loud snapping sound... well, more like I felt the snap sound, than actually heard it, does that make sense??? Anyways, so, it hurts realllllly bad. Can't stand up straight, I gots me a little old lady hunch, not to much fun, lol. Didn't eat very well either. Had a giant bagel for breakfast, a chicken breast pita from Pita Pit for lunch, and then had turkey sausage after work. THEN my sister comes home and makes *gasp!* chocolate covered strawberries. And while I would REALLY like to admit that I didn't touch those things, I had ohhh, 10? 12? of them. Not smart. Not at all.
Good news: I made it to the gym I didn't do alot of cardio, first of all cuz I haven't done it in a long time, second of all, well, I can't stand up straight Do you know how hard it is to do the eliptical with a slight hunch? Lemme just tell ya. NOT EASY!! (By the way, I did a whopping 13 minutes on the eliptical *sigh* ) Then I did some weights (gotta get rid of these bingo wings if I'm gonna be wearing a sleeveless dress, right?) and now I feel like I'm in a Will Ferrell movie ("My arms are so heavy I can't lift them...." lol)... but thtas really serious- I did do a few shoulder exercises to, so thats probably why, lol, but holy hunnies! When its hard to drive home cuz your arms just wanna plop down, umm, thats probably not a good sign
K guys, hopefully tomorrow has better results and less back pain. Its late, bout 230am, so I'm gonna swing into a coupla diarys quick like, and then be off to bed
Thats a good trick with taking 1/2 the food off your plate. I should try that! I always end up tasting my hubby's though... I need to stop that!
Congrats on going to the gym! I am not sure what to think about the noise/feeling in your spine. Was it in your pelvis area?? I am studying these things right now, but that doesn't make any sense.
Hey jess! Hopefully your back feels better. Its really nothing you want to mess with. If your still in pain go have it checked out. I threw mine out playing roller hockey once and it didn't feel right for four months after or something like that. They gave me some groovy pain killers for it though lol but still being laid up that long is no fun. So yeah be careful!
Great news on getting to the gym and I agree with Tiffany as well on that removing half the food outta sight outta mind right? I should try that!

I am so miserable right now! I just wanna lay in bed with a gazillion blankets and just not move.
Tiff: no, not in my pelvic area, just lower back- parallel to my belly button... I do have scoliosis- every now and then it hurts real bad, but this is a new one, so I say in the next day or two if it still hurts to do anything, I'm just gonna go to the dr. and get, as Travis says- some "groovy painkillers" lol. Tho I hate taking them. I get loopy, hate that feeling, bleh.

So, needless to say, I made it to the gym ONE night, and I'm not going tonight... I'm not trying to sound like a whiny bitch, swear to God! Really bad thing tho- When I feel like crap, I wanna eat like crap. Not fun, not at all...
sorry to be boring and all tonight, but I'm gonna hit overstock.com and get a new down comforter, and then go to bed Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow!

Ok, so I still have a titch of pain~ but I think thats mostly from standing a certain way whlie my back hurt so much... But I am 98% better! Woo~! I did take a few days there, ahem, and had three not so good(ok, downright friggin horrible) food days, but today was good. AND I went to the gym tonight. Yay! It was a little awkward tho- I'm trying to do shoulder presses and the new kid at the gym,(oh hes so cute! I just wanna pinch his cheeks lol) sat there asking me advice for his girlfriend..lol. to cute. He goes- well, its both of ours first relationship(hes 19) and shes going to college six hours away, and blah blah, lol. So- I'm tryin to listen to him at the same time I'm counting my reps, but MAN. That kid can TALK! hahaha...
Did twenty minutes on the crossramp tonight- I was sweating hardcore by the end of it, refilled my water bottle THREE times, and could hardly breathe when I was done, but thats how I know it was a good workout. And I'll be there tomorrow night, and the next etc.
So I had put in my notice at the gym, gave them a month, and still had two weekends left, and apparently they found someone, cuz last night was my last night! It was actually kinda sad, cuz after three years, I had a lot of people that I just adored in the mornings, and I think it was probably reciprocated. On the other hand, MAN OH MAN. How I look forward to not having to work EVERY Friday and Saturday night... Time to act my age, lol.
So I have come up with my long term goal for the wedding in May: 60lbs. Thats seven months away, and that breaks down to 8.5lbs per month. Totally doable. Now that I finally have my butt in gear, I think it'll happen. My SUPER long term goal is 85-90lbs by August 29th. That is a verrrry long way away, and with all you guys to help support me, I know I got it. I know that I'll hit the dreaded plateau, and I know that there are gonna be days where chocolate is the only thing that appeals to me, and now, with weekends off- I know there might be a teensy bit of drinking. (I'll uh, try to do vodka and cranberry *shiver* bleh ) But I am most definately committed again, and that makes me happy!

Ok, so I was on here a bit ago, but for some reason my computer wasn't doing to hot! It was going reallly slow, so I finally said to hell with it and just turned it off... SOOO this is gonna be a short-ish entry for me, cuz I'm writing this on my palm pilot and it is not easy!
So, went to the gym tonight- did 25 minutes on the eliptical, which wasn't to bad but coulda been better.
On the way to the gym I almost died tho!! This guy ran a stop sign, and almost ran right into my driver side door. I pulled hard on the wheel, hit the brakes as hard as I could, and the guy didn't even slow down! He drove thru someones yard, almost took out a tree AND a house and just kept going! I was so stunned I just sat there for a few seconds... He never stopped to see if I was ok, and no way was I gonna follow the psycho to see ifhe was. It was scary tho- the people that live in that house have NO idea how close they came to not HAVING a house...
Hurray for having you last night working there! Its always sad to move on from a place you have been for so long but in the end your gonna love having that little extra freedom.

So almost every week, my two younger sisters and I make dinner one day. Well, THEY make it. I don't cook. But I eat it Anyways, so tonight they made sweet n sour chicken with rice and a VEGGIE PIZZA!~ Oh holy hunnies, I was craving a veggie pizza hardcore... they laughed at me when I said thats what I wanted. It was tastylicious though, definately worth the few bad calories in the cream cheese and crust. And then I had a bowl of haagendaaz... *sigh* ouch. Did pretty much amazing all day up till then, thats fershur.
Went to the gym, did some lifting- I am DETERMINED to have hot arms, DETERMINED!
When I got on the eliptical I set the time for 15 minutes(just thought I was super tired)... how wimpy, eh? I was watching Law and Order tho, and I kept moving the time up, so I ended up doing 30 minutes, 1.65 miles. Thats it, do you believe that crap?! I was going about as fast as I could half the time, and didn't even get two miles in thirty minutes, lol. About half that time tho I had the setting as high as it would go tho- so my legs were burning, I was bright red, sucking down water like it was, well like it was water, lol- so I didn't GO very far, but the cals I hadto've been burning made up for that I hope...
Anyways, gonna get to bed, another fabulous day at GNC tomorrow... woo! hehe, that was excitement. Really...

I hear you about having friends that sabatoge. Last time I lost weight and was looking hot, I lost more than fat, I lost a friend or two as well. They didn't want to hang out with me anymore at clubs because the guys were hitting on me more. You'll know who your real friends are when you get to your goal weight, that's for sure. You got me! hehe Have a great week and good job getting into the gym. work it girl!!
