eek... i did it again and lost a few days in there... =( And I gained 2 lbs...

but monday is a new day!!!

bkfst: honey bunches of oats - double serving (340)
lunch: homemade salad - lowfat dressing (45), ham (30), veggies (60) + cheese cubes (165) + clementine tangerine (40)
snack: popcorn (150)
dinner: eek - mc donalds grilled chicken sandwich (420) + fries (570) + tangerine (40)

total cals: 1860
h2o: 48 +
exercise: 45 min pilates for weightloss workout
road trip distance: 1.5 miles

ALSO - I saw a thread for a workout "road trip"... I'm very excited about moving back to Iowa and just calculated that it is 605 miles from here to my new home... so until I move back in December, I'm going to try to get that many miles in workouts! For the elliptical and running stuff I can do, I'll just include the actual miles... other activities, 1/2 hour = 1 mile... SO this mornings workout = 1.5 miles... I'll continue to add to it as the days go on.

*sigh* i'm not quite sure why I suggested mickey d's for dinner... especially when i told myself that this morning I was starting a new... and i did start with the exercise! but it seems like whenever i have the exercise thing down, I mess up on food and when i get the food right, i can't find time to exercise... if I can get it all balanced, then i might have a chance!

well - i didn't do too bad today... but i could have had something different for lunch - we had a luncheon at school, but i could have opted for the salad bar instead of the hot buffet line... and i could have skipped the cobbler... the # of calories was fine - but did my body get really nourished with all of that? could i have eaten more lower calorie foods? yes.

I did get back into the exercise today - and worked out hard! it was nice =)

i'm recording my calories on fitday now... it might help me analyze things better.

My calories for today: 1767, w/ 40 oz of tea drunk (water) and 12 oz h20 ... but no exercise - too much schoolwork.

today...
cals: 1729
exercise: 45 min tennis ( = 23.9 miles/615 miles to Iowa)
h2o: 80

Oh - and the wedding pics... there are some posted on the first page of my journal... including the one that is my avatar =) hope you enjoy!!!

I have been doing okay... and just okay with the weight loss lately. While the past three days have been good, the week before has really been hit or miss. And I've gotten exercise about 3 times this week, which is better, but I would really like to get even more in. Even if its just like a half hour walk before dinner - anything to get my body moving!

Since the beginning of the year it seems, i have been gaining and losing the same five pounds over and over again. I'm at 150.8 now (after being 153 at the beginning of the week)... and I just cannot seem to get below that mark! And when I do, I can't sustain it.

But no more! I'm losing it this time! I start a brand new job on January 1 - I will be the pastor of a small church, which means I need to get me some professional clothes (rather than all of my grad school clothes). My goal is that by the end of december, I will have gotten to my target weight of 135, will be able to maintain it, and can use my christmas money to buy some new pieces for my work wardrobe. But I have to get there first!

I actually have quite a few cute skirts and jackets from last summer... last summer when I weighed 140. Heck, even if I get back to there, I'd be happy and could wear those clothes without my tummy buldging out!

thanks for all of the lovely comments about our pictures - we love them as well!! My only frustration is that the photographer has not given us our copies yet! It was all digital, so we get a cd with the images, as well as a bunch of prints... but so far, all we have see and can download are the low-res images from the website =(

in other news... no calories to report from yesterday. Not only did we go to a wedding in the afternoon w/ tons of appetizers and yummy items, but then my husband and I together at a pizza and drank a 12 pack of beer during a five hour movie marathon. eek! At least I got some exercise yesterday morning before the festivities began.

today - okay but not perfect. I had a krispy kreme pumpkin spice donut during sunday school... which I completely DID NOT NEED!

calories today: 2020.... crap - we did mcdonalds for dinner again =(
h2o: 16 + 16
exercise: none yet

well, crap... the scale went back up to 153. I just feel like I have this invisible barrier at the 150 lb mark... but it all has to do with MY food choices. I have been exercising this past week, but all the exercise in the world will not help me if I eat pizza and drink beer on Saturday night and have McDonalds on Sunday night.

New week - new start...
