well, since the wedding is over, I thought I needed a new thread. I weighed in this morning at 153.something. And my ideal weight, somewhere between 120 & 130. *sigh* I've been up and down and up and down between 145 and 155 for the last year it seems. and its time to hunker down and just do it!
My husband hates vegetables... he's a chicken and potato and cheese kind of guy, and so eating with him, if I eat the same thing... umm not so good. But - we compromised and went to the store and bought a bunch of fruits and veggies for myself... now I just have to eat them!
Yesterday, I did okay -
bkfst: raisin bran w/ skim milk (240) & a peach (40)
lunch: healthy choices meal (310)
snack: coffee (80) + 2 bites of a 7 layer bar (?)
dinner: quesadillas (365 + tortillas) + slice of tomato (5) + salsa (15)
today -

lunch: chicken tomato basil panini - healthy choice (310)

Good luck Katie!! I know you can do it!! Your so strong!!
Just remember, to quit the yo-yoing, we (meaning me too) needs to make lifestyle changes!! No point in going on a "diet" if your gonna get off of it once you loose your weight! (yes, i'm talking to me too!)
Hope you have a great day hun, and keep your chin up! You can do this! i'll make sure to stop by ALOT more and support you!!!!

yeah, that's my feelings too.... and so I can't quit eating the same things as brandon - otherwise I'll be cooking two meals for the rest of my life! BUT - I can eat much small portions of whatever our meal is, and add lots of veggies on the side. =)

so yeah, I had dessert.... but i'm paying really close attention to portion sizes! we got a digital scale for the wedding, so i measured out how much I was going to eat, and looked up the calories for the whole bar and voila! it makes me feel much better than eating the whole freaking thing!

Loved your wedding pics! Beautiful bride! Don't you just hate it when men can eat just about anything and stay thin? Grr...lol. I think your plan is great--eat what he does in smaller portions, and make veggies for yourself.
