Rep Power: 7 | | | tryingtotrim is trying to trim Hi All,
In the last couple of weeks Ive decided that im going to finally tackle my weight issue- Im about 210lbs and only 5'2''. Im not sure of my exact weight coz my scales is a bit dodgy (gave me a reading of 3lbs when there was nothing on it!!!!) so Im going to use one of those supermarket machines to check. Ive been doing pretty good at cutting down on the junk and snacks and doing a little walking.
Long may it last!! |

Rep Power: 7 | | So todays food:
Breakfast: 2 slices brown bread and sugar free jam
Lunch: Homemade soup and 2 slices bread
Dinner: Prawn chow mein
Snacks: Slice ham, slice bread and sugar free jam
Drinks: 4 vodka and diet coke
I shouldnt have had the drink but i dont really drink that often so hopefully wont make too much difference. Also went shopping today so had a bit of a walk around town. Bought new trousers- didnt get the bigger size coz they're not going to fit for long- and for once wasnt too upset that things were on the tight size! |

Rep Power: 45 | | Another good job! No problem with the drinks, I mean you made the best possible choice with the vodka (aside from wine maybe) especially mixing it with the diet coke. |

Today was pretty good:
Breakfast: 2 slices toast with sugar free jam
Lunch: Veg soup and brown bread
Dinner: Homemade spag bol with bunalung sauce
Snacks: Banana
Will prob have popcorn later (although I didnt last night after so we'll see!).
I went for hours walk too which was great.
Weighted myself at one of those machines in a chemist. Says Im heavier than i was 2 weeks ago BUT I had had both breakfast and lunch and was wearing clobby runners. At least its a baseline to work from I guess.
i probably need to invest in a good set of scales for home but I dont want to have another thing to cart when I move house next week! |

Well yesterday wasnt too bad.
Breakfast: Fruit'n'Fibre, OJ
Lunch: Ham salad sambo, snack pack of apricots
Dinner: Veggie stir-fry with rice and kidney beans
Snack: Special K bar
Didnt get to do any exercise but was packing up my room for moving at the weekend so was on the go all evening.
Worked out I should probably b eating around 1700-1800 calories a day. Reckon Im probably more-or-less on track for that.
Going to a friends for dinner this evening. Will have to eat what Im given so Im really hoping she makes something half decent! |

Rep Power: 7 | | Well yesterday wasnt too good. It was my first bad day since I started I suppose but Im still disappointed. Was very 'snacky' during the day and even though I had healthy stuff (fruit, crackers, cereal bar) it was probably too much. Then I went to my friends house for dinner- the meal itself was ok (chicken caserole) but she had cake after. I ate it partially coz I wanted it and partially coz I was too embarrased to say Im trying to change the way I eat. They are used to me loving my sweet stuff so when I tried to say no they were having none of it and I couldnt bring myself to explain.
Hopefully today will be a lot better. Its new to me to get back on the healthy buzz straight away after a day like that- I usually use it as an excuse. But not this time- gonna get straight back to healthier ways. Fingers xd. |

Rep Power: 16 | | Awh hun (hug) Don't worry about it... we all have bad days. All that matters is that we get back onto the wagon and keep going... instead of just jumping off it completely! I've done that so many times. hehe Hope that today is going better for you. x x | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
