Rep Power: 25 | | Now THAT was a workout!!!
I did not go to weigh in today, as I was behind on my contracting and had to go to my other job. However, I will go tomorrow. I haven't lost any more weight, but I certainly hope I haven't gained any either! I expect I am about the same, much to my dismay.
Relatives in town for the weekend, so getting in my weekend workouts will be a challenge (on top of all the extra cleaning, cooking, and entertaining! Perhaps they'd like to see me workout for entertainment? )
Cheers

You know that the scales like to torment us at times. My weight is still up. We all have times like that. Ignore it! The big huge thing to focus on is the fact that your ultratight pants not only fasten up and look loose on you. They are comfortable enough to wear for work. That says something that the scales can never say. All the scales know is what the sum total of your skin and bones and fat and muscle and food and drink and whatever else happens to weigh. The ultratight pants know that you can wear things that you couldnt and look great.
Enjoy entertaining your guests - running around after them will certainly be a workout and your body will know it.
Take care
Love

Rep Power: 25 | | Oh, my pal Margaret! Always there when I need a lift. This forum has been so good for me!
To my very happy shock and surprise, this morning after workout I weighed a teeny, tiny 156 lbs!!! Don't ask me how this is possible when the WW scale registered me at 159 lbs on Saturday afternoon!
I took my daughter to a Christian rock concert last night by a band called Starfield. It was the kick off to missionary week at our local churches, so the speaker was also very interesting and inspirational. The band was quite emotional, as there had been a terrifying incident a couple of nights before at another church 4 hrs away. Apparently there were so many youth jammed into the church with the loud music and jumping/thumping that goes on at concerts, the floor actually gave way beneath the crowd and 40 or so folks had to get rushed to hospital. We thank God no one lost their life, but it was a terrifying time at what was supposed to be such a fun event! It certainly highlights how thin the veil is which separates us all from eternity... |

Rep Power: 25 | | Here is a link to a very interesting photo and brief article on the whole "muscle does not weigh any more than fat" thing. I found it helpful in clarifying this issue in my peabrain! Muscle Weighs More Than Fat Myth

Rep Power: 15 | | Hi ABBA! Just wanted to stop by and reinforce to you that you are doing an AWESOME job. Even if the scale takes 2 more months to reach your final goal, you are still doing your body such an amazing good thing every day, and that is worth more than any silly number on the scale! |

Rep Power: 25 | | Thanks very much for the encouragement, Heather! I do note that I am still shrinking, regardless of what the scale says on any given day. I am still struggling with some sort of illness which seems to be plaguing our family, so am home from work today with my youngest. We are just trying to get lots of rest - though you know I still did my workout
Here's to feeling better!

Rep Power: 25 | | Worked out today, though still deathly tired. Wonder if I may be anemic? At any rate, I did not kill DH today, which took much more self control than I thought I was capable of. Even managed to get us an apptmt with a real marriage counselor next week. I hope it does some good. At the very least I will be able to do some major venting .
Later days,

Rep Power: 25 | | Finally, a truly warm and sunny day here. Spring has surely been a long time in coming this year! Things are blooming and the sun is shining.
I worked this morning and then came home and worked out. My day just does not feel complete without that workout! I'm quite happy, as that means it must be a habit. Some days I have to work harder to get myself on the mill than others, but it always feels great when I am done!
Tomorrow morning is supposed to be my weigh in. As I have my period just now, I really don't know what the scale will show, but am hoping for a loss. |

Rep Power: 25 | | Hi, all. Delightfully, the WW scale did register me back down at 157. However, after today's workout, my own scale fluctuated all the way down between 156 and 154!!!!! OMGosh, that is crazy. It does give me hope, however, of continuing to etch my way down...down... The day I get to 149 will be an incredible shock. I mean, when was the last time I weighed that? In fact, the last time I weighed my current weight had to be just before my wedding over a dozen years ago! EEK! How am I so old? Oh well - who cares how old I am, provided my body looks like it belongs to someone MUCH younger? =p
I went to see my doc yesterday about more lupus symptoms, and she was very proud of me for getting so healthy. In fact, she had many questions on how I have achieved my loss thus far, and asked for advice on how to motivate her DH to do likewise! LOL now that is a switch - me advising her! I did appreciate her applause. I love it when people notice how far I have come.
Hope you all have a great weekend,

Rep Power: 43 | | Congrats on getting down so far, and doing so well! Of course she is asking you for advise, look what you have done for yourself, it's so exciting seeing someone actually make it to the finish line. You should be proud, and I do bet you look so much younger and healthier. I know you'll make it to the 140's there is no doubt in my mind on that, but it might just seem a little harder to get there, than before because your at that last few pound stretch, I hear those are the hardest to lose, but you know you can just prove all those statistics wrong and make me feel better!! LOL LOL Good luck to you sweetness, I'm proud of your accomplishments, WAY TO GO!!! BRAVO!! |

Rep Power: 25 | | Okay, after today's "mill time" my scale registered 154 and 155 lbs. That is amazing! We shall see what the official WW scale says on Friday morning, but oooooooooo how nice it will be when that is my actual weight! I am so pleased to continue making my way down, down, down...looking forward to busting out of the 150s into the 140s!!! Then...who knows?
NOTHING CAN STOP ME FROM ACHIEVING MY WEIGHT LOSS GOALS!!!
(because this Canuck gal rocks!)
On a totally different note, DH and I will have our first marriage counselling appointment on Wed. afternoon. I am very nervous about opening up our troubles to someone I don't know, and am scared that DH will feel quite hurt as things come out. However, my desire to save my marriage trumps my desire to protect his feelings, so I shall be a real grown up and tell the truth. I am on a journey to a better life all around, and sorting out the yucky, hard bits is part of the whole process.
Here's to personal growth
