Rep Power: 25 | | WHOOT! for me! The WW scale did show me at 150.6 lbs!!! That puts me at just 0.6 away from their "goal" for me, whereby I can start teaching WW classes. I will have to get to get right down to 150 and then maintain it for a few weeks before I can apply. However, my personal goal remains lower than 150.
It is wonderful knowing that I currently weigh 25 lbs less than I did when I graduated 20 yrs ago, and 5 lbs less than when I married 14 yrs ago. I ROCK! All for now,

Rep Power: 25 | | | ! I LOVE AUTUMN!!! It is absolutely my favorite time of the year. It came early for us this year, and I sure don't mind.
I am feeling good about being back on track for writing down my food intake. It helps me feel more in control. I still think it is strange when people tell me that I shouldn't lose any more weight. I mean, I could see it if I was already at 135 lbs and looking very slim, but at 150 I simply look curvy and (I hope) nicely proportioned. Perhaps it is just because folks have seen me go from being so heavy to where I am, so to them I look even slimmer than I really am?
All for now

Rep Power: 217 | | the summer has had some really wacky weather - from super hot to almost fall like a week or two ago... I don't expect Autumn to be much different -we'll probably have some really hot days and followed by a blizzard
Weather keeps you on your toes that's for sure |

Tomorrow the kidlets start at their NEW school, one entering middle school (grade 7) and the other grade 4. This school is much smaller and goes from K through 12, so we needn't move them again if all goes well. They are both nervous, and I seem to have absorbed it!! DH and I both wish we could go with them every day until they are all settled in However, we know that they are great kids and will find some good friends of their own. I had no idea marriage and motherhood were anywhere NEAR as challenging as they are - I guess because my own dear Mum did such a good job of making it look easy!
So I am sticking with writing down my food. I certainly do have to watch myself, I tend to think I can just snatch a cookie here or there because I am doing so much exercise but that is NOT the way to go. I need to remember my new favorite proverb: DISCIPLINE WEIGHS OUNCES BUT REGRET WEIGHS TONS! All for now

Rep Power: 25 | | Went out for dindin tonight to Red Robin's. I had a veggie quesadilla, and did not smother it in sour cream. Yay me! Today was the girls' first day at their new school, and I am so pleased to say that it went very well! Both girls introduced me to some of their new friends when I came by to pick them up at the end of the day. *phew!* glad that first day is behind us...
I am hopeful that I will have lost at the scale this week, but if not I will continue writing down what I eat, continue working out daily, and expect that my weight will just depart when it is good and ready! I was happy to run into a friend I haven't seen in a few months tonight, and she almost didn't recognize me due to my *ahem* thinness! Very nice indeed.
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | A very exciting thing happened in the bathroom today! LOL Well, on the scale, anyway. For the first time in...? I know it is not the first time ever, but I suspect it may be the first time since I was in my teens, the scale - ever so briefly - rested on 149 lbs!! Granted it did land on 150, but it has not so much as paused below 150 in decades! This is very pleasant for me Tomorrow I will go to WW and likely they will tell me that I have hit "goal" at 150 and need to maintain it in order to get my lifetime status. However, I have no intention of maintaining it, as I fully want to see the scale ZOOOOOOM down through the 140s!
I will let you know what happens tomorrow...tomorrow.
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | 147 lbs!!! 147 lbs!!! That is TRULY what my scale said today...and it did not "hover" - it just STAYED THERE! I even stood on it for a full minute, and it did not waver, I tell you! I am SOOOOO excited! I can't believe that my plateau is finally at an end! WAHOO! What it has taken is just for me to track my intake again, plus start wearing a pedometer again. I found out that even with my daily hour on the 'mill, since I was mostly walking and just running during commercials, I was only getting in about 4,000 steps or so. Now I have revamped things so that I am running during the entire show, but during commercials doing my abs work and pushups. This has doubled the amount of steps I am taking!
I don't know how it will all pan out at WW, but I sure do feel GREAT today!
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | Well, here we are back at 150 again! *sigh* oh well, at least part of it was worth it - I went on a whirlwind tour of our local "wine country" (we live in the Napa Valley of Canada) and visited 11 wineries in 1.5 days! THAT'S A LOTTA WINE!
I will attach a pic of myself from the lovely weekend away. I will wear this dress to another 20 yr reunion this weekend. Oh, the fun of looking better than I did back then!
I am wearing my pedometer again, aiming for a minimum of 10K steps and most days more like 14 - 15 K steps. I have upped my treadmill so that I am now running the whole time rather than !! Good for me
Cheers
