Rep Power: 25 | | Worked out. Trying not to panic that this a.m. the scale actually read 2 freaking lbs HEAVIER than yesterday wth? *sigh* I don't care! I remain resolute in my commitment! In fact, I went out and bought a wonderful, sexy new black belt to show off my waist, believing that soon none of my others will fit! How's THAT for positive thinking?
Still writing food down.
Cheers

ABBA | but you know more than anyone I'm sure that even the scale can't make its mind up from day to day.
I swore I commented in your journal, but I actually got your picture thread again!
Anyways keep up the good work and buy more belts, you deserve many. |

Rep Power: 25 | | Now that's more like it! Post workout today my scale showed 154 lbs!!! Let's keep going like that! Losing 2 lbs per week would work very nicely for me!

Rep Power: 25 | | For my workout today, I ran the whole time. I did stop once to ... you know... but otherwise, that's all I did. usually in commercials I get off to do my calisthenics, abs, light weights. I was definitely sweating by the end!
I feel quite tired and crampy, telling me that dreaded Aunt Flow is coming for her visit soon enough. *sigh* That means the scale will of course go right back up with the entire lake that I seem to retain but such is life. At least it means all my plumbing is in order!
Anyways, I do feel great about cutting out the junk, getting back on total track with my eating, writing it all down and such. My bod feels cleaner, and my attitude is much happier, too!
My Mum and I just watched the season premiere of Biggest Loser. It was so good! We love that show, we tape it and watch it together every week. I feel so blessed to live so close to my dear Mum.
All for now, gettin' skinny!

Rep Power: 13 | | | Really? I find my weight is higher a few days before AF and then lower the last few days of it.
I guess every woman is different. |

Rep Power: 25 | | Hi ya! Aunt Flow still visiting, so not weighing in just yet. However, I have been keeping up with my workouts and today did a KILLER one on my abs! It felt so good and also still tracking my food. It feels like for all of my hard work I should be 10 lbs lighter already, but aggravatingly, it does not work that way; especially the closer a woman gets to her "ideal" body weight.
Tomorrow night is the first practice with my band, and I AM STOKED!!! I am so ready for this. I love my life! And I expect my finances to start turning around any day now.
Hope all is well with you

Rep Power: 25 | | Okay, did my workout and still tracking with my food. So WHY does the scale still read 154 lbs I am consuming more calories - and not from junk - than I was before, and I am still working out. It is somewhat frustrating and makes me want to .
However, I REFUSE to give up!!! I am going to have the body that I want, whether my body makes it easy or hard. We are going to work together, do you hear me?
Looking forward to our first practice tonight!
stickin' with it,

Rep Power: 25 | | It was a PARTY, people! What a blessing, what a privilege to jam with my old pals again! The chemistry is still there, and WE ARE GOING TO ROCK!!!
This morning I did my full workout again. Hot and sweaty, feeling good. Haven't weighed myself today. It's so weird how torturing my abs can actually feel good after! Go figure.
So I will keep it up.
cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | Took yesterday and today off from working out, will be back at it tomorrow. I am considering shocking my system by upping to 1800-2000 calories for a couple of days to see if it jolts me to losing again. I currently consume 27 WW pts daily, which actually is only1350 calories, and that is on days I work out.
So if I up it to 35-40 pts I will be eating significantly more. I think I will find this hard to do, as I am NEVER hungry with just eating 1350. I am nervous that I will gain, but I just have to try.
I will weigh myself tomorrow morning after my workout.
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | So here I am at Day 3 of consuming more. It is much harder than I even thought it would be, because I am just plain not hungry!!! While I am hoping for immediate WL, I don't expect it. My body will take a bit to readjust to this extra caloric intake, I think. Trying not to panic, but cannot guarantee I will stick with the extra calories if the scale starts creeping up.
I am still doing my workout, but am now going for just 5x weekly rather than 6. I am trying to be kind to myself and my body and not demand so much of it.
I have made an appointment to get my eyes checked on Monday to see if I am a candidate for Lasik surgery. I have no idea how I would pay for the surgery, but since things generally work out for me, I'm sure the $ will be forthcoming! Every day when I check my mail I am SURE there will be some kind of extra money in it...hee hee Why not?
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | NOT a great start to my day having stepped very gingerly onto the *&%$ scale and watched it go UP to 157. This after a mere 3 days of increased caloric intake, while still doing my workouts. WTF?!
I am trying not to panic, but dang I am nervous! How long do I keep eating more in an attempt to reboot my metabolism? It sounds crazy! I will tell you one thing, there is NO FREAKING WAY that I am getting back up into the 160s. Absolutely not. I will take serious measures before I let that happen.
After working soooo hard to lose and then being stuck on this *&^^%%$## plateau for half a year (at least), I am feeling mighty frustrated!
Anyway, I am just about to go do my workout. Then I think some meditation (and maybe medication) is in order so my whole day is not ruined by what the ********** scale says.
No cheers here

Rep Power: 13 | | | But you know, it's not logical to have gained an entire 3 lbs in only a couple of days. Don't worry about it. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
